Got a letter from BT saying my Xbox pass prices are increasing. Problem is..I never subscribed to Xbox, never played it in my life. Then I search my emails and found email from BT from 2024 saying they believe there was fraudulent activity related to Xbox and they'll cancel and refund the service. So today, when I looked in my account and saw I was being charged all these months, I phoned them and they refused to refund me saying they had no evidence it wasn't a genuine subscription to Xbox and that they didnt keep more than 2 years of records so cant see how long ive been charged for.

After reading numerous similar cases and a newspaper article about this, I am convinced BT has other customers in a similar situation.

I made a formal complaint which if unresolved will go to Ombudsman and Small Claims Court, but the fact I need to spend hours of my time on this is simply unforgivable.

Once my contract expires for broadband im leaving them

1) On 3/3/21 I paid upfront GBP 1499 to list my property with PurpleBricks
2) There was no expiry date, or limit to the length of time the property was on market
3) I discussed this with PB account manager and she confirmed there was no hard limit
4) I took a marketing break
5) I am now ready to re-sell and was told by my new PB Account Manager that I am now being treated as a new customer and have to pay GBP 899 to relist my property on Zoopla and RightMove

SO WHAT DID I PAY GBP 1499 FOR??? I want my money back

I must say the Hotel Supreme 1400 is the most comfortable bed I've had - no wonder the Ritz use them. I personally have it on a sprung base, which is how hotels have them. Sleepeezee stopped making sprung bases for domestic use unfortunately, so pick one up from Hypnos or John Lewis - they do make a huge difference! Anyone looking for a mattress get the Hotel Supreme 1400!

I bought Geltex 1000 from mattressman, and although the mattress itself is comfortable, it filled the entire room with a chemical/mouldy smell that's been there for weeks. I also noticed when I opened my eyes in the morning, they were itchy and watery - clearly whatever chemicals they use to comply with fire regulations are causing this. Why can't Silentnight air their mattresses before sending off to consumers? I'm more concenred about health impact, and I don't trust the EU REACH regulations either - they are constantly updated, and what is considered non-toxic today, may be reclassified as toxic tomorrow. I wish I bought their Eco range instead now :(

Update 15/7/2025 - I've now come to the conclusion that mattress was the issue and have sold it to someone else. The filling kept separating so after a few days it felt like laying on springs , plus there was a feeling of rolling toward the middle.

I'd say the issues are:
1. The side support springs are way too firm, so yes they stop rolling out of bed but at the expense of rolling toward the middle which means you can't lay flat unless you have a super king or emperor size bed.
2. The use of Kapok and Allo may be the cause fillings compressing to give an uncomfortable sensation of laying on springs. I'd definitely not buy anything with these fillings again.

My previous Hypnos was an older model with pure wool and cotton and didn't have these issues.




Bought a sprung base and mattress from Hypnos. First 6 months were a dream, but now I find I need to rotate the mattress every week as it sinks too much and becomes uncomfortable. It's almost as if springs separate under the body weight. Weirdly when I placed mattress on the floor, it felt much better so I suspect it's the base that's contributing to this. Wish I could swap the base for a firm one.

I bought a bottle of Aventus from JL and feel robbed as it doesn't last how it used to. Not even my hairdresser noticed my smell. I also had a bottle of Aventus Cologne (early batch) so I went to Fenwick and John Lewis to spray their latest batches - by the time I got home I couldn't smell it. The bottle I have at home, with just one spritz would last for over 12 hours. So if fragrance regulations have forced Creed to reformulate at the expense of performance then don't charge the same! I will never buy this again - save your money!

Any positive experience with agency was negated by the check-out process where hundreds of pounds were taken out of my deposit. For example, a replacement of a 3 pounds lightbulb was replaced at 68 pounds. Be prepared to go to Deposit Protection Scheme with this agency

I must say, before buying this online I went to a store to try the model, and bought this 40% cheaper. This matttess is so comfortable, it really cushions you for an unbelievable nights sleep.

I bought a lovely mattress topper. The delivery was prompt and I am very happy with the service I received. Would definitely go to Soak and Sleep next time I need something - and it's much better value than high street!
