I left an honest and fair 3 star appraisal for an item I bought from their website. Received an email offering a discount for leaving a review. The review was was visible for a short time, presumably until one of the admins read it, and then it was promptly removed. Why ask for a review and then take it down.... pretty sure if it had been 5 star it would still be there.

Second order, and worthy of five stars. The courier managed to deliver on time and the packaging/insulation was much better than before. The goods were still well chilled despite travelling to Scotland. The meat is good quality and for a decent price. Also plenty of time left on the use-by so all boxes ticked for me.

My first order from this company. I ordered minced beef and diced beef. I have no complaints about the meat, all seems fine, and bulk-buy discounts make the price less painful. I will be happy to order from them again. However...DPD retain their title of worst courier I have ever experienced. Not only was the delivery late, the package was abandoned on the doorstep of an uninhabited house in pouring rain. Thankfully it was at least "delivered" to the correct street and I was able to find it eventually, getting drenched in the process. So, seems like a good company but let down by their courier. This is the second time in one week I have been let down by the same courier for a perishable meat order. I appreciate this is not down to the company, but it does impact on the overall experience hence the one star deduction. I found the wool insulation to be less effective than the one-piece insulated foil bags used by other online meat retailers I buy from, and also less gel packs were provided. That said, it did keep the meat cold enough, just, after an extra day in transit, so I can't complain too much about that.

It was with great sadness that I threw out my old Ergoflex mattress, after 17 years of use, and replaced it with the newer version. The old one still seemed as good as new and could easily have lasted a few more years but the decision was made. I am happy to report that the new version is as good as the old. To me it feels slightly different from the previous one, but only a little. I still get a great sleep and backaches are still a thing of the past. Really glad I bought another one instead of trying something else.

Bought a 2 in 1 garden hose reel and hose. The price was way cheaper than anywhere else I checked. I emailed them with a query whilst waiting on the delivery, the response was almost immediate and had the information I needed. The item arrived intact, on time and complete. All set up, tested and working perfectly. I was a tad apprehensive when reading some negative reviews but I took a punt and I am glad I did. I can't fault the company based on this experience.

Have made a few purchases without issue, so this time I opted for the "meat for a month" hamper. Unfortunately one of the bags of chicken thighs was burst (to the point of being scattered around the box) and the entire contents of the box were covered with chicken "juice", requiring a considerable clean up and leaving me feeling far from delighted. I have no complaints about any of the products I have received in terms of taste and value for money, and it arrived on time. Just a pity that there was so much mess to clean up.

Help bot is worse than useless. Went round in circles with the same unhelpful suggestions until I ran out of patience and cancelled my card. Tried phoning and that was even worse. Then, once I had spat the dummy out, I was given a suitable explanation, from a human, for the issue I was having. But of course by then it was too late as they could not undo my card cancellation. What a waste of time. Wont be doing business with them again.

I was dubious about buying from Sofology due to some bad online reviews, but so far I am glad I took the chance. Everything went surprisingly well. From browsing their website to visiting the store, discussions with the staff, the ordering process, scheduling delivery and the actual delivery. There were no issues whatsoever. The sofa and chairs we bought (Radley in leather) are comfy, and seem to be of decent quality. After four months of use there are no noticeable defects. We'll have to wait and see how they stand up over time of course, but so far we are very happy. There has been no need to contact customer service yet so I can't comment on that aspect. As things stand, based on my experience, I would be happy to purchase more products from Sofology and would happily recommend them to others.

Happy enough with the product I purchased. Let down by late delivery, poor customer service and their failure to stand by their price match promise. Their products are good, but better bought from elsewhere.

Would be good to have been notified when the item was shipped, but otherwise a flawless service. Maybe harsh dropping a star for that, but it's normal practice for online shopping. Would happily buy from them again though.

Pretty much the same as most of the other reviews. The booking process was simple, the boiler and the fitter arrived early on the correct day. The installer was efficient and friendly, the installation took around five hours and so far there have been no issues at all.

I didnt know about the requirement for condensate to be drained away, so I had to either have piping going along the wall on the outside of the house and down to the ground or get a condenser pump and route the condensate to an internal waste pipe. Having opted for the latter, I was expecting to be billed for this extra item and the required pipe work, which the installer had to source and collect from a local merchant. However I was pleasantly surprised to be told that there would be no extra cost. I was surprised that condensate disposal was not mentioned at all during the booking process, maybe I should have investigated more myself, but it would have been better to know about this in advance rather than having to make a snap decision on the day of installation.

The other niggle is with the boiler itself, a Greenstar 30i. I am very happy with the boiler, its working fine, its quiet, its an improvement on the one it replaced. What I did not know beforehand is that the central heating can only be controlled via the thermostat, i.e. one cannot switch the heating on and off manually at the boiler. The thermostat is all set up and works fine, as does the Honeywell mobile app, but I would have liked to have a manual on/off option too.

Overall I am very happy with the outcome and I would not hesitate to recommend BOXT to anyone looking to install a new boiler.

This would have been a 5 star review if it was based only on the quality of the goods. The produce is always of a high standard which is why, until now, I have kept going back for more. Delivery is always on time and communications are prompt and polite. However, most of the orders I have received have had items missing. Responses to emails regarding this have always been apologetic, and they do make an effort to rectify the problem either with a refund or with a discount coupon (which may or may not work) for the next order. On most occasions these issues have been resolved satisfactorily, but I just feel this happens too often, roughly 50% of the time, and I grudge the time spent complaining this often to the same company for the same reason. Its a shame really, but I feel I need to find another supplier now.
