We're very sorry to hear that you have not had a positive experience using our site.
Professionals are in competition with up to 4 other professionals, and thus customers may choose to speak with competitors about their service needs. Secondly, they may not always be available to speak with professionals at all times. We are an open public platform and so cannot enforce contact, however do provide 2 forms of contact as well ass regular email prompts to the customers.
It seems that our role is different to your expectations of our business, so hopefully I can clarify our role here. We are a lead generation platform that covers over 2000 professions, which means we offer professionals the opportunity to try and convert business and market themselves at the fraction of the cost it would normally be to get themselves to the top of Google (which is what we do). We do not guarantee work, but provide a platform that should garner professionals a 1 in 5 conversion rate - essentially we want to get you a return on investment. We do not charge commission and so do not take any earnings from you, nor do we take any earnings from repeat business you may win.
We are an open public platform for customers to place requests for service providers. These requests are then processed through an automated screening process to check phone numbers and email addresses before being generated into a lead and sent to prospective professionals who may be able to help. As this system is automated we have a Credit Return Policy so that we can return the credits for any leads found to have incorrect information. You can find this on our website under the Help section, however please do email us at team@bark.com should you like a copy, or to report any leads where this has occurred in the last 2 weeks.
