Set up a policy and had to wait a week for them to tell me they don't cover my area. Promised call back after call back which did not materialise. Absolutely useless, avoid like the plague. When I sought to make a complaint I spoke with a Senior Manager who was rude and insolent, told only feedback can be submitted and they won't respond to a complaint.

The Shell Migration Team are the most inept group of individuals I have ever encountered.

The individual who I spoke with on 09 August 2024 was unprofessional, unhelpful and sullen. I wish, in the strongest of terms, to emphasise this person's complete unsuitability for their role.

I asked to speak with their supervisor and was advised that they needed to know why. After disputing that she needed to know this information, I advised I wished to speak with her supervisor in relation to her attitude.

Should Shell Energy, or whichever outsourced contact centre employs this individual, wish to maintain a satisfactory level of service they should seriously consider relieving them of their responsibilities.

I made a complaint via their complaint form which was also useless. Joke of a team.

There was a delay in getting a date for the engineering work to start and an activation date but when this was confirmed and the engineers arrived it was a thorough job. The engineers Adam and Phil were great and resolved an issue with the wiring and external box on the same day.

Avoid if you live in an apartment or residential block. Placed order. Completed hard credit check, which was approved. Booked installation and sent photos. Day before the installation from a gas engineer who advised that as it is an apartment and the meter is at ground level they can't install the boiler. A question which could have been easily answered at the initial stage. No attempt to obtain a resolution. Was advised I should have rang sales team before ordering - apartment built in 2010 and only has two floors above ground level, also took that the preliminary questions would establish any simple issues or restrictions. Rang to ask that the credit check be removed from my record. Not able to do this but told to ring the external company but couldn't give me the number. Awaiting a callback.
