Terrible Admiral care

I had. Small insurance with Admiral,only £10 a month. I landed in hospital and now in. Hospice. I had to put my house on the market to pay for my final care. I continued with th house insurance,congratulating myself on a cheapness. Then on the 10th May 2025, I find a charge on my credit cad for £265.39 , I tried phoning Admiral but got the response that I was not recognised.i approached my bank and after a lot of hassle they declared it fraud, cancelled my credit card and set me a new card and a full refund. Then yesterday I received an email from Admiral saying I was due £265.39. After threeattempts I managed to get through to Admiral. was correct from an unasked for increase, made with no communication from them. I have now officially closed the policy. Their agent said I might be due a refund for the three and a half years in the hospice but suddenly developed a hearing problem .after all the bother I gave up. I have enough personal worries,being in a hospice. A warning. They appear so helpful b adds but this is the way they treat vulnerable people

Justice please

On 10ish found unauthorised charge on my credit card £265. Reported it and sent letters as requested. Later phoned and it as confirmed charge would be refunded within 10 days. Still no sign of my refund .tryiny to log into the mobile app is a nightmare. I have been locked out three times.i have difficulty reading the code sent on my phone. I just want my money back. Are they trying to be awkward?

Scam?

I found an unauthorised charge for over £265 from Admiral insurance on my credit card. I reported it to the bank. As requested I sent in a letter with full details. Bank replied everything was being sorted and I would get a refund. Nothing has happened. I tried contacting them but got nothing but circular requests. The issue a simple. This was either a scam or a mistake. Either way I should have an immediate refund. Not good enough bank?

PayPal useless

Tried to use PayPal today to be blocked as password not .site said a data breach had caused this and I required to reset my password. Then the trouble started. I had to provide photo identification,which I managed despite my local internet keeping crashingthen passed the security questions. Then a security code was sent to my mobile. The code was not recognised in three separate times getting it changed. Now I am required to phone further, spent an hour on the phone to get nowhere.

Scam?

I opened my mobile banking app to find my credit card had a pending charge £265.39 from Admiral. I tried email but the number they gave only said-not recognised. At present I am going to the procedure of notifying my bank of a mistake or a scam. My credit card is blocked and there is a lot of hassle. My hope is my bank will refund my money.

Revision review for Free to be Mobility

It was last year but the company has asked me to review my review as the first one was not very complimentary. I thought I had after the problems were resolved, but I will add this. My electric wheelchair had a defective power cable and was unusable. Initially I had great difficulty contacting the firm and was given the run around. Then my purchase was just over the warranty date. I offered to pay for a replacement part. Then their attitude changed as if they thought originally I was trying some scam and they accepted I was genuine. Their agent said that as a matter of courtesy after the hassle that they would send me a replacement part free. Around a fortnight later I received the replacement charging in the post and have had no more problems. I did issue a thank you addition to the original review. I hope this long winded new review is ok for you.

Mobile banking dead

My mobile banking app on my iPhone will not work it’s a disabled message. Their help section is a pathetic joke, going round in circles and doing nothing. That’s two hours of my life wasted with no result.

Failing Royal Mail

A small parcel I was waiting for was posted in someone else’s letterbox as the picture clearly shows. I do not know who received it or how to get my parcel. Royal Mails help line is a joke, a computer that goes round in circles and gives no help. You cannot speak to a real person. I am left without any .parcel was an iPhone by the way. I am old enough to remember when the mail could be trusted, not now. Use a private courier and your parcel might be delivered.‘I write this in sorrow.

Giving up

I finally caved to the legal threats and have posted a payment although I don’t think it’s right. I can’t afford paying legal fees if it went to court. Their extortion wore me down. In the hospice, all I wanted was all my affairs to be in order so I don’t leave a mess.

Extortion

I have just received another threateningly letter demanding £121. I do not owe Sky a penny. I phoned Sky and the operator checked my account was clear and finished. I have tried contacting the firm with no success. They will not listen and just keep demanding money. It is extortion. I suspect an error has been made and they won’t check back with Sky. Leave me alone .

Demanding money

I have just received a threatening letter from them again claiming I owe Sky £121. My account with Sky is clear, Sky sent me an email saying my account was finished and clear. This company will not stop demanding payment for an account that was finished two years ago. Leave me alone or proceed . legal where I have proof of not owning anything I am fed up with their nonsense.

Bad manners

The power cable on my wheelchair was defective, a broken pin. Five emails were each ignored.i am stuck in my hospital room without my wheelchair.and no forward.

Non mobile banking

I won £5 in a charity lottery and was sent a cheque. I am disabled and going to a real bank is a pain. Four times I have tried the app on my iPhone without success. I cannot get past taking a picture of the front of the cheque.i am near losing heart . Is the app designed to be difficult.

I needed to renew my subscription but after a wasted hour, wonder what strange place I am in. Every time I put my city as Kirkcaldy, this was rejected and I was required to use the proper format? There was no help option. Don’t they want my trade?

Sky was paid a monthly bill a day late and passed it to a collection agency BPO. I have it in writing from Sky that the bill has been paid but the agency will not give up, sending continued threatening letters.i have asked Sky to stop them and been promised action. Still more letters. As an aside the email address they give is not valid.- sums up their lack of professionalism . Just leave me alo
