Was a customer for many years

Have been a customer for many years, I understand these are difficult times with war in the gulf, but they took my order, said they would deliver and never turned up. I have tried calling them, emailing them, contacting through the website. No response no answer for last days - that is customer service? have ordered now from a different company, I am almost dry, if Watson's decide to turn up they can turn around.

No Customer service, just automated responses

Used their service to book a collection, they immediately took payment but could not issue the labels. Said instead the would email them. Hours later no sign of my labels so I contacted their support by email. Received a response that they would reply within 4 hours. 4 hours later , still no labels or response so emailed them again. 24 hours later I received a response that they were working on it and would get back to me shortly. 24 hours later still no response or labels - but did receive a request to rate their customer service! What customer service?

Response to their message below, 36 hours later. Yes I am receiving your emails. Each of them basically says "sorry, someone else is dealing with it" That is not customer service, that is a "please go away I have computer games to play". It is now 80 hours since I ordered and paid for a collection. Obviously it is not going to happen, I will cancel and demand my money back - and warn all others dont use parcelhero!

How can you avoid the black hole of parcelforce?

Two parcels were shipped to me from Germany via DHL at the beginning of December, unfortunately DHL decided to hand them over to Parcelforce. Parcelforce acknowledged receipt but then lost them, they couldn't tell where and refused to help, just said I needed to talk to DHL - of course DHL said it was not their problem. My supplier shipped again at the beginning of January, unfortunately once more through DHL and Parcelforce, one parcel has arrived at my local depot two weeks ago and is awaiting customs payment for which I am supposed to have been sent a letter - of course no letter was sent. The second parcel they have lost again, it hasn't even got to customs yet. Parcelforce once more are no help, they acknowledge they have received the parcels in the UK - but there only response is "I'm sorry, speak to the shipper"

Dont touch them with a bargepole -they are crooks

Dont touch them with a bargepole! They kept chasing me to order red diesel for our farm and heating oild for the house, I decided to give them a try.:
1) They accepted my order and said they would deliver the next day
2) next day they contacted me to say they needed a form filled out for the red diesel, which I did
3) day following they contacted me again to say they needed more detailed description of the farming activity - which I did and they said they would deliver next day
4) next day they contacted me to say they needed a form filled for the heating oil - even though domestic, which I reluctantly did and the said they would deliver next day
5) next day they said they needed pre-payment on credit card which I did - delivery next day
6) next day the tanker arrived with only heating oil -said that the red diesel was cancelled
7) on chasing why they said because there is a stud farm at the same post code! I explained it is next door and a totally different business, but they refuse to supply.
8) getting my money refunded is like getting blood from a stone - couldn't do it to credit card needed bank details emailed. A week later I gat a phone call saying they need to get approval from their manager and it needs to be to the credit card.!

Shipped the wrong product

Shipped the wrong product - fast, when I notified them they said the would send the right product immediately, I am still waiting over a week later. I contacted them a few times and they said it shipped but had no tracking number. One day for the first shipment - wrong product. Then more than a week (yet to arrive) for second.
Later comment: They have responded to this review to say they have now shipped the product - so they were lying previously, no wonder there was no tracking details available, very poor service! I would recommend choosing different suppliers.

Absolutely awful service and lies

Absolutely awful service and lies

A package was shipped to me from Germany by DHL, (who have my EORI details). Unfortunately they decided to pass the package to Parcelforce. Customs decided to pull the parcel aside - to request our EORI number. A week later when my parcel hadn't arrived I checked their website - which side "parcel held by customs awaiting information from addressee" I emailed them through their website " we respond in 24 hours" - no response for another week. I rang them, and held on the phone for 40 minutes to be answered. They said no information was required, it was just held by customs. A week later a letter arrives FROM PARCELFORCE saying they need our EORI number - which I immediately sent them. A week later, still no parcel, so I called again, another 40 minute wait. They claim the delay is customs and that it is customs who sent out the letter requesting the information - but couldn't explain why customs were using Parcelforce letterhead! Just lies after lies when the obvious delays are not customs - but parcelforce. It is now nearly a month since the urgent parcel was shipped.

Totally incompetent, Avoid them if you can

Hate when I have to buy from Them and only will if I can’t get it elsewhere, their website often crashes on checkout, their support response is “sorry, try again tomorrow”. They ship with either DPD or Hermes, DPD are great but the packing is awful, thrown in a box with items often missing or damaged. And if the ship with Hermes it just won’t arrive and takes weeks to get refunded. If you choose store pickup they send the wrong item, wasting a drive to the store. Really recommend ANY other supplier, try Zooplus, great

Poor delivery

Have used them for years and they have been very good and prices good, however their delivery has got very poor with no communication, purchased delivery of 1-7 days still not arrived after 15 days, quick enough to take payment though, maybe they think I am their bank?

Third time I have purchased a plateau de fruit de mer from them, each time delivered on time and as described, bountiful, fresh and very tasty, highly recommended.

Hermes yet again fail to deliver

Hermes yet again fail to deliver, fourth time this month I have to seek a refund from the shipper. Always some lame excuse like "we need more information" - but no request for what information and no way of asking them, their support is non-existent - a chat with a machine online the only means, and that only says someone local will get back to me - but they never do. Am now warning all people I order from that if they use Hermes they are likely to have to refund to me, please use any other shipper.

Unfortunately another two Hermes shipments not arrived since I wrote above, despite my warning shippers not to use them. Hermes continue to not respond to any of my queries - except to send me a survey about how well they have responded to my queries - even though they haven't responded! Please shippers, use ANYONE else but the black hole of Hermes, all shippers have had to refund me and I have ordered the items elsewhere - wasting my time and their money.

made a booking for my mother return EGC…

made a booking for my mother return EGC -SOU-EGC, first leg went great, tried to check her in for return leg, airline said booking was made incorrectly, contacted opodo, they claim airline cancelled the ticket - their recommended resolution? buy another! mind you that was after two hours holding, meanwhile do they suggest a refund? no.

Please, dont take the risk, all they want is your money; after that you are n your own

Further information - they will not refund, they say it is the airline problem, not them - airline say it is opodo, Opodo keep saying the flight is cancelled - and recommend buying a ticket again on the cancelled flight! Doesn't help that they don't really speak English.

Have been using them for a few years …

Have been using them for a few years after intensive alternative research: good product, prices, delivery and services, appreciate that a couple of times after I have placed an order they have "retro-fitted" a special offer that came out days later
