Failed to collect my parcel

Easy process, competitive price

Very easy process. We booked a few days prior, the instructions were easy to follow and we recieved regular updates through email. The UPS drivers who picked up and dropped off our boxes were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Easy to book, very good price with comparisons, picked up on time, delivered next day.

Used ParcelHero once and won’t be using them again. Quoted one price, then added extra charges afterwards and took the money directly from my card.

After checking other Trustpilot reviews, this appears to be a regular pattern.

Feels like a very misleading way of doing business. Avoid.

you don't send a copy of the invoice or receipts, but lots of emails; price is ok, service is ok. But not really any good for b-b i need invoices

get my parcel in time but item again damaged and its 3 out of 3 this month. bingo.
4th parcel they forgot to pick up , what creates me delays in work. still working on it. I guess parcel hero is only hold positions because of dhl. guess I will contact them directly since now.
any claims with parcel hero also impossible to solve, coz there is no proper customer support either.

Shocking honesty. They wait until you've paid them then you get random status show up, eg "booking issue-generic issue". What am I supposed to do with that? I don't even know what the issue is... The support is useless you can't talk to a real person. They didn't provide me a tracking number, I'm assuming because of whatever this issue was, but guess what... "You can't speak to human support unless you provide a tracking number". Brilliant. They have no phone line, and are otherwise uncontactable outside of speaking to an AI chat bot that auto replies with unhelpful rubbish. Borderline scam company, and they even charge more than you would pay by going directly to the parcel carriers they use. Don't recommend in the slightest.

Avoid at ALL Costs

Send your parcel directly with UPS/FedEx/DPD etc.

I unfortuately posted a parcel to Spain from the UK using ParcelHero (as they could quickly compare courier prices), who as a middle man, used UPS to collect and deliver the parcel.

I measured and weighed the parcel and paid the appropriate fees including the extra insurance to ParcelHero 12/02/26.

I also took pictures of the parcel with a measuring tape and got the UPS driver to sign confirming these sizes and his collection when he picked it up.

On 19/02/26 ParcelHero charged my debit card without my knowledge or permission an additional amount of £68.43 (the original cost was £55.74) and sent an invoice saying it was because UPS had made a "Large Package Surcharge".

I confirmed directly with UPS (who were exceptionally helpful with all aspects of the delivery, declarations, customs etc) and they never made any extra charges for anything!

It has now been over a month since my first of 6 emails to ParcelHero customer service and they have still not refunded my money or directly answered the facts put to them, just a couple of emails saying they are working on the "complexities" of my issue.

It is also pretty convenient that the review site they use, Feefo haven't sent me a link to review the business - I have now sent a direct request for a link to review the service.

I have also just raised a dispute with my bank Santander to get the money back.

Save yourself a lot of time and hassle and take the extra 10 minutes to get quotes direct with various couriers. I highly recommend UPS.

ParcelHero solved my problem and collected my parcel within 45 minutes!

Excellent service. My parcel was picked up on time and was tracked throughout its journey so I always knew where it was. Delivered on time in same condition it left me. Would definitely use again

It took a little while to set up the account, made more complicated by the fact I am in Greece and was arranging for a parcel to be picked up in the UK and sent to me, but once I had got through that, the service was amazing. The parcel was picked up at 2pm on a Wednesday in the UK and it arrived 2pm on Monday in Greece. The cost, while not super cheap, was reasonable considering I needed the documents sent to me urgently and they delivered exactly on schedule.

It was so easy to go through the process of arranging a pick up online. I would definitely recommend parcel hero to my friends and would use them for any future packages I need to send
