Security and alarms

When I moved to my property I installed the Verisure system. On the whole the system works fine & I have no real issues.

Sometimes, however, when there are issues with the internet, the control panel should reset itself, on a couple of occasions it doesn't reset fully! Why I don't know & tbh Verisure can't tell me why either.

As a result I have to call customer services to get them to reset the panel remotely. That process is ok if a little tedious. I guess though it is what it is & internet based services experience glitches like this

Speed awareness

After a false start the previous week (time difference confusion) I managed to log on and complete the course.

The course leader was professional, engaging, knowledgeable & relatable.

I was reminded about the speed limits when there are no signs visible which was great

Multi product discounts

My motor insurance is with Admiral & I chose them due to the multi product discount they provide. When my contents insurance company told me that they couldn't continue to provide contents insurance for my property (no reason given) I rang admiral to see if they could provide contents cover alongside more multi product discount they said, yes! So I had no reason to shop around! Thank you Admiral, much appreciated 🙏

Annual Service

The annual service was completed efficiently & in a timely fashion. We requested to not have the service done until after midday & to give us 20 to 30 minutes notice of your arrival, which meant we weren’t waiting for the service engineer unnecessarily. Thank you for your consideration & cooperation it’s truly appreciated.

To be honest the approach of BJS to deliveries, proactive communication (especially when changing a scheduled delivery) and their overall professionalism is a refreshing change to what one experiences when dealing companies like EVRi or DPD! End2End Experience

I ordered 2 Luxe Gift Sets, 2 Baby Oral Cleaning Sets & 2 Silicone Spoon Sets - both to go to different addresses. I had to do it as 2 different orders which meant I only got the discount once!

The website was pretty unstable, including the payment portal, on both orders it took a minimum of three attempts for the purchase to go through. I tried the on line chat option which wasn’t live & I got answers to my questions / queries after the fact, so the point of the chat option is pointless!

I got order confirmation for the first order immediately, & I had to chase for the second one. I got the delivery despatch for the first order & I had to chase for the second one. The first delivery was received & I had to chase multiple times for the second one! The first order was delivered 3 working days before the second order. (I assume orders are numbered sequentially one was xxx19 the other xxx22). As mentioned I was constantly chasing the second order, I was even told it had been delivered & which clearly it hadn't & they themselves had confused the tracking of both the orders!

So overall, the parents love the products as do the babies, the website stability needs work especially the payment portal, the order process needs streamlining, the distribution & logistics needs a lot of work and the customer care, follow up & communication needs a lot of work too!

In summary, great products but truly hard work dealing with the company itself!

One off cleaning service

I had to book a last minute cleaning service, as my regular cleaner was unwell. I booked the service on Sunday & they’ve been and cleaned the house. It took 2 people 4 hours and they were very thorough & professional Thank you for the service provided much appreciated

Snag list for a new property

I’ve moved into a new property & have been compiling a snag list but struggling to get the developers to take me seriously & put some manpower into resolving the issues. It was suggested to me I get a snagging report done as that may add gravitas to the situation and get the developer to act in a holistic way as opposed to the adhoc way they tackle issues currently. The process of booking the survey, the person attending as agreed was seamless and I now have the report albeit it a day later than expected. Therefore my only observation was when I booked the appointment & provided details of the property I told them it was a duplex apartment but I got a message, after the fact, stating that they consider it a house so I had to pay £49 extra before they would release the report

New premises alarm & security system

Verisure were very quick to respond to my initial enquiry. Majed Abti came out & completed the premises survey & he provided the quotation instantaneously for a grade 2 Alarm system.

The system recommended to me included; a zero vision smoke barrier, voice pad, a couple of protected video detectors, a number of strategically placed shock sensors, video doorbell & the 24/7 monitoring service.

The installation process was relatively painless as the system is WIFI reliant & apart from strategically placing the various components there was no hard wiring required.

Post the installation there was a slight issue with the doorbell & that was fixed within 24 hours of me informing them of the issue.

Niall from the customer service / aftercare team called today; confirmed the details of what was included / installed, how the monitoring service operates & what to do or what would happen in the event of either emergencies or uninvited people entering the property.

Overall the service provided throughout the process has been professional, Verisure have delivered to expectations & of course one feels reassured that this company genuinely cares about its customers & their security / safety.

Thank you team Verisure appreciate the end to end service you have provided thus far.

Delivery Service Review

Today I’ve completed the cycle with Pickfords, from packing & storage to delivery & assembly. The team are exceptional, hard working, friendly, polite and professional. This applies to both the office based team & the team that does all the actual physical work. Some of my belongings have been in storage for 10 years & honestly speaking I was expecting the worst but actually my things - furnishings, furniture, clothes, accessories etc are in immaculate condition. So thank you team Pickfords truly appreciate everything you have done.

I sincerely have no hesitation in recommending Pickfords to anyone looking for a removal, storage & delivery service both short & long term.

DISC Chiropractors Surbiton

I have been coming to DISC Chiropractors Surbiton (previously Proback Surbiton) for the past 6 months. My initial weekly treatment plan included; shock treatment, manual manipulation & decompression therapy, I now visit the clinic every 2 weeks for shock treatment & manual manipulation. Since engaging in this process, I am more mobile, more active and generally experience less discomfort.

The team, their approachability, their willingness to adapt to your needs is exceptional. I would thoroughly recommend you engage with them if you are experiencing pain / discomfort in your back or neck.

The initial consultation before they recommend a treatment plan is very thorough and puts you at your ease. The practitioner I see is Dr Dimitri and I can highly recommend him to anyone.

online shopping & delivery woes

The ordering process was pretty straight forward The delivery side is an absolute nightmare! One large delivery is being despatched in 6 parcels (no real logical reason for this) 6/6 supposed to come today still waiting 2&3/6 was supposed to arrive on the 5/12 delivered already 4&5/6 meant to be delivered on the 7/12 and 1/6 which was meant to be delivered today is now being delivered on the 7/12. The emailing is confusing 1. When order is processed. 2nd mail when ready for despatch, then emails from Hermes saying delivery is coming (one earlier order arrived 5 days after scheduled) Too many calls to customer services & still none the wiser. I ordered kids Christmas stuff early hoping to avoid all this Clearly that didn’t work! Plus Hermes on the very first order actually lied about the reason for non delivery. So all in all what should’ve been stress free Xmas shopping has been a bit of a nightmare!

Seemless & Efficient

The service was Seemless, easy & efficient. The team explained the process to a tee. I had a slight hick up with the payment process, but that was resolved quickly. The end to end process took less than a month (the delays were on my side). From the moment I submitted my documents to the time I received my card was 14 calendar days. Thank you to everyone involved, much appreciated
