I have just received an H20 e Activatot…

I have just received an H20 e Activatot from thane but the enclosed instructions booklet gives instructions in every language but not in English.
I contacted thane but they wanted me to further pay for the instructions which should have enclosed with the product in the first place.
This wasn't cheap and I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that they actually want me to pay to have the instructions in English
This was bought in England and posted to me in England so why on earth would they send me the instructions in every foreign language but not in English, and I couldn't believe it when I was told that I had to pay for the English instructions.
I would never buy from this company ever again and unless you can speak bilingual then dont waste your hard earned cash shopping with these scammers.
Definitely not recommend by myself.

ITEM NEVER RECEIVED

Bought an item from this company through Amazon, I am a severely disabled person and totally housebound, yet I was informed by this company that my item has in fact been personally handed to the resident but this never happened, I've contacted homeofbrands via Amazon but their answer was for me to check upto three properties either side of me, despite my comments about being severely disabled and unable to walk.
I strongly advise anyone thinking of buying from this company to be extremely aware as their customer service, should anything not go to plan is an utter disgrace and is not customer friendly.

NO BODY AT HOME

I have recently been notified by Evri (two separate deliveries) that they had attempted to deliver my parcel and that no body was at home and hence I never received my parcels.
Due to medical circumstances I am totally housebound and unable to leave my home, and any attempt to deliver anything to my home there is no problem whatsoever due to me being at home.
I suggest that Evri employ drivers that are prepared to do their job and to get rid of the lazy drivers who can't be bothered to deliver their parcels and record " NO BODY AT HOME".
DISGRACEFULL PRACTICE.

Ordered a full meal from KFC

Ordered a full meal from KFC, order number 743656974 at a cost of £35.26 however when JUST EAT had delivered my order the chips and the gravy were missing, I contacted KFC who told me that all the items from my order had been collected by JUST EAT, no reimbursement from JUST EAT was offered to myself, it would appear that they are now employing THIEVES to deliver food who are stealing contents from the orders for themselves and under the circumstances I have no other option but to report this theft to the Police.

COLD MEAL DELIVERED

Ordered a meal from McDonald's via Just Eat, but when it was eventually delivered the meal was stone cold and has to be thrown away, Just Eat were notified but was only offering a three pound refund on a twenty pound meal, utterly disgusting, won't be using them ever again!

DOMESTIC AND GENERAL

I have several items insured with Domestic and General, one of which being my vacuum. Due to my vulnerabilities and my medical issues, which are recorded on my account with them, I am recorded as being a severely vulnerable person.
I recently had the rare occasion to contact them as my vacuum would not start, an engineer subsequently arrived and took the vacuum away with him for repair, he left me the tool attachment that fits into the vacuum pipe and said it was damaged anyway and was broken, it seems that he should have photographed the damaged item to replace it but didn't, so subsequently it was disposed of.
Two weeks later the vacuum was returned to me but without the new tool attachment, and I was advised to contact Domestic and General to have a new one sent out to me, but alas because he didn't take a photograph of the damaged item it would not be replaced.
On Friday 1st September I spent over four hours on the phone trying to resolve this but to na avail, it would appear that the Domestic and General operatives, when they don't know what to do, transfer your call to another member of the Domestic and General staff and then, yes you guessed it I had to start from the beginning again, god help us if this is the way that they treat vulnerable customers.
What a disgusting company that this is to treat vulnerable people with so much content and total disrespect.
SHAME ON YOU DOMESTIC AND GENERAL!

I have been using Asda for many years…

I have been using Asda for many years spending a considerable amount of money with them, but recently the home delivery service, which I need to use due to to being severely disabled, has been far from what you would expect from such a reputable company, items missing, items being delivered damaged and in particular my latest order which included a leg of lamb, it was delivered in such a poor condition you would have thought someone had been kicking it around a football field, unsealed with the meat exposed and covered in floor grime and small stones, which is what would be consistent with it having been dropped outside on the floor.
Despite my best attempts spending over forty minutes on their dedicated customer service contact telephone line, in addition to sending them photographs of the damaged item I was told my request for a replacement or refund was rejected.
How does Asda get away with this practice, delivering unedible and damaged goods to their customers for which I paid good money for which are not not fit for consumption.
I will now pass my complaint, along with photographic evidence, to the Health & Safety Executive regarding my issue with Asda.
Needless to say I will pass my experience with Asda to my friends and family with a hope of letting others know what to expect if they shop with at Asda.
I WILLNEVER USE THIS STORE AGAIN AND IT WOULD APPEAR NEITHER WILL A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE, THIS STORE IS GROSS!

Morrisons disgusting food

Used Too Good To Go on Thursday 29th September 2022 to save 2 bags from my local Morrisons Store at Queen St, Great Harwood, Blackburn BB6 7AL.
Absolutely disgusted and disappointed at what they gave me, everything consisted of two days out of bread with the odd bag of old carrots which was totally outrageous and unsuitable for consumption, the bread was so hard with being so far out of date it was all just thrown away.
It was utterly pathetic that was all that Morrisons had to offer considering the size of the store, I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of using the Too Good Go App to a avoid getting anything from Morrisons to avoid wasting your money.

Excellent service received

Excellent service received, my appliance even though it was relatively new was unable to be repaired, but the following day they had replaced it ( fridge- freezer) with a new one, their service was second to none, well done Domestic & General. I would highly recommend this company, total peace of mind, many thanks.

TESCO DELIVERY, SOOO BAD IT'S UNBELIEVABLE

I am an elderly severely disabled man and totally housebound, I rely totally on home shopping for my food as I am no longer able to go to the shops myself and as such I placed an online order with Tesco costing over £100 for my groceries, order no 6701-0816-331.
Although the order arrived on time with their delivery, when I checked the order there was over 15 items missing from my shopping order and this has severely left me very short of food until I can hopefully get someone to go to the shop for me as I live alone and unable to go myself.
For an odd item to be missing can be understandable but for over 15 items to be missing is totally unprofessional for such a reputable company and is totally unacceptable and downright disgusting.
Tesco should be totally ashamed of its delivery service which was delivered to me and which is a long way from being acceptable,for most of my everyday food items to be missing has left me severely short on my everyday food items and has left me with a dilema of obtaining my everyday food items elsewhere. I'm utterly disappointed and feel so let down by Tesco.
I hope you're very happy and content for treating me in this way.

AVOID SELECT SPECS THEY CHEAT OLD PEOPLE!

Please please if you're elderly or disabled DO NO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, I have had issues with this company since they stole my pension money for unsuitable goods which they refused to rectify,

I was left without glasses and they kept my pension money which I need for heating and food, please don't let them cheat you the way that they cheated me with my old age pension, they should be ashamed of themselves for a so called professional company!!!

This is completely incorrect. I do note we tried to assist you with this case over 1 year ago but unfortunately you didn't respond to our emails regarding the return of your glasses. At the time of this we were happy to replace the glasses for you free of charge as per your request.

Unfortunately, there is only so much we can do unless we receive a response from you and the requested returned glasses back with us. To be honest, we expected to receive further communication from you and your returned glasses back with us in August 2020 as per the original emails.

BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ARE THINKING OF USING USING THIS ONLINE SHOPPING SITE, I ORDERED ALMOST A HUNDRED POUNDS OF MEN'S TSHIRTS THAT I NEVER GOT BUT DESPITE HAVING CONTACT WITH BIG FISH THEY CHOOSE TO DISMISS MY CLAIM.
I AM A 67 YEAR OLD MAN SEVERELY DISABLED AND CONFINED TO A WHEELCHAIR, I WAS EXPECTING MY GOODS BUT NO KNOCK ON MY FRONT DOOR WAS EVER RECEIVED. ALTHOUGH MY DOOR WAS WIDE OPEN WAITING FOR MY CARER TO ARRIVE TO TAKE ME OUT, A COURIER HAS APPROACHED MY FRONT DOOR PLACED A PACKAGE ON THE FLOOR, DISCRETELY TAKEN A PHOTOGRAPH OF IT AND THEN MY PARCEL WAS NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN, DESPITE ME EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM BEING LEFT WITH NOTHING, BIG FISH SAY ITS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY ,I'VE MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THEIR SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE YET I'M JUST LEFT FRUSTRATED HAVING SPENT MY OLD AGE PENSION WITH THEM TO BE LEFT WITH NOTHING
I WOULD HIGHLYY RECOMMEND ANYONE OF THINKING OF BUYING FROM BIG FISH TO THINK TWICE, IF THEY CAN TREAT A SEVERELY DISABLED 67YR OLD MAN THIS WAY AND THEN TOTALLY IGNORE HIM WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM THEY DONT DESERVE ANY CUSTOMERS.

The parcel was delivered and notification sent to you in regards to this, the courier states that there was someone in the property at the time and left the parcel with the other mail and packages that were in the doorway and took the image as proof of delivery.

Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for the theft of your parcel after it has been delivered inside your property, you agreed that the parcel had more than likely been taken by someone that came later as the front door is left wide open and in view of the passing public, you requested that WE call the police, unfortunately we have no authority to do this as the theft was from your property so would have to be done by you, neither can we resend and claim on the insurance as you requested as we have no claim to answer.

We will always be happy to help as much as possible in regards to any issues that arise with deliveries and would like to assure you that we did all we could in this instance.

HILLARYS BLINDS,NO THANK YOU

Hillarys blinds fit curtains to my patio door after an initial consultation visit to my home, I chose the material and was led to believe linings suitable for deflecting car headlights ect would be fitted, however when fit, car headlights shone through the curtain fabric onto the internal walls, the material used was of poor quality and they were very poorly fit, I paid a total of £540 for what I received and I was very displeased at the quality.
I contacted customer services and the fitter returned,ironed the curtains and made minor adjustments but things remained very unsatisfactory and the issues were not resolved.
I again contacted Hillarys and requested another visit due to my issues and I was told a general manager would attend my home for a second opinion, several days later another blinds/curtain rep came to my home and after a brief discussion he agreed to have the curtains remade to include a black out lining and I was in agreement with this to resolve all issues,
However after he went outside my front door to make a telephone call he returned to tell me that Hillarys would not now be doing what was suggested and told me that I would have to start from the beginning and contact customer service yet again.
I am a 67 years old severely disabled man who is housebound and the news he gave me devourstated me and left me totally helpless not knowing how to deal with this very upsetting situation.
I pray and hope that other elderly disabled people read my review and perhaps use a reputable company that will treat you with the respect you deserve and expect.
