Got greedy and lazy
We have been with HL more years than I can remember, and up until today we're going to invest lots more with them. Over a month ago we moved investments from another company, the funds finally arriving in one of the accounts yesterday, the other, not a sign of it anywhere, and the account blocked as well! Anti laundering legislation was introduced to stop crooks not law abiding citizens, I should know I work for the department who introduced it.
Contacted CS explained to first call handler, said I will get a manager to call you back within the hour as my 18k was missing. Nearly three hours later no call, called again, had to wait whilst they tried to find out who should have called me. Then they called, but wrong phone. It was suppose to be a manager, but he was like no manager I have ever met. He continually implied we were wrong and the systemic failing in their process were something we had no choice but to put up with. Clearly he was reading from a script and customer feedback is no longer accepted in HL. I asked to speak to his manager and he said he would get a call center Supervisor to call me back, so clearly HL are deceiving customer and wasting their time by pretending to put you through to a pretend manager. I asked for the name of the supervisor and was told it would be quicker for me to get a call back if I did not want a named person. You will not be surprised I was not called back. So I will need to start all over again tomorrow, They are not Fit for Purpose, and it would not surprise me if their reply to this is to call their contact centre! Just another greedy company who has lost touch with their customers, will be going elsewhere with my money, suggest you do the same.
