The delivery method used to provide train fares are mobile/eticket or physical tickets which can be sent by post or they can be collected from any mainline station having the the self service ticket machine (as they are all interlinked). These are the delivery methods set up in place by the respective rail operator managing the routes within the National Rail network.

Mobile/eticket are not accepted on every rail route, hence, this is not a permanent delivery method. Whereas, the self service ticket machine is always made available by default as this method is available everywhere across the UK rail network.
