The epitome of scum, yet another over the phone battle to sort out yet another unnecessary event, living over seas but just completely unable to manage my RBS business. Yet another PIN code needed for what was a working account but RBS ( GnatWest) said I had keyed in the wrong numbers and all shut down. ALL LIES. Told I need to wait for yet another ATM card ( +/- 1 month to arrive) and reset the passcode. Years and years of endless incompetence, buffoonery and rudeness from foreign call centre morons that have absolutely no clue.

Absolutely wretched despicable company who constantly lie and basically don’t give a F.
1. Ordered what they classed as a high value item (£170). Item went out for delivery and I was given a one time passcode to give to the delivery driver. Clearly explained several times that it was a gift and the recipient worked during the day and was unable to see the driver face to face to give him the passcode. 4 x delivery attempts made , all during daytime, unable to give passcode. Item now missing, Customer serviced dept absolutely hopeless. Their solution was/ is a refund.
2, Xmas gift for elderly parents delivered to the wrong address, not surprisingly, the dishonest recipient kept the package. Amazon ordered replacements which I appreciated and promised delivery before Xmas. Checked the status today 23rd and delivery status said January to April 2025!!!
Disgusting, disgraceful people/ Company. You have definitely ruined several people’s Xmas!!!!!

Despicable, loathsome wretches, I can’t find stronger words for these parasites. Will try to bleed you dry. Was paying by DD over the odds and built up credit. Tenant moved into my home and took over all utility bills, got my ballance and closed my account,,,, great! Approx 6 months later the tenant told me a bill for electric had arrived for £285 for a period where my home was empty,and all utilities turned off. Called these morons right away , 40 minutes on phone, passed between 3 hopeless cretins who said “ ohh there has been a mistake, so sorry, one of my colleagues will sort this out and get back to you” heard nothing back for + 4 months. Tenant then told me that another letter from their debt collector was delivered demanding the £285. Again I was straight on the phone to the morons to get this sorted. Passed around the department again, every person foreigner, English questionable. Got nowhere, just repeated “ a service charge”. For what exactly you crooked imbeciles. After 1 hour 15 minutes on call, just got so much drivel an BS! Settled the amount as did not have the time or energy to let it continue. Damn you BG, the epitome of scum!!!!!! You should be ashamed of your selves. God knows how many other innocent people you have screwed over!

If there were negative stars, RBS would get -10. The worst bank in existence. Banked with RBS for + 30 years, living overseas and dealing with them has been unbearable for a very long time, been put off changing banks due to the total hassle of opening another account but enough is enough, I will be returning to UK to close down all business very soon. My troubles with RBS over the years are too long to list, they are never-ending. Avoid RBS at all costs. You have been warned.

A breath of fresh air being introduced to The Melbourne Capital Group and Jamie Bubb Sacklyn. I had been let down by previous financial planners and Jamie put me back on the right track to get my investments performing ( work in progress). I highly recommend TMCG to anyone looking for good, honest financial planning.

Absolutely pathetic bunch. Took out home insurance via a broker ( been with the broker +15 years but proved equally as pathetic) The policy is not worth the paper it’s written on. Been over a month to date at cost to myself for a totally genuine claim. Both Zurich and the broker totally shunned responsibility. Over 1 month of e mail tennis and going backwards. They simply don’t care and will do everything in their power to put cause and blame on something or someone else. Please people. Avoid this company at all costs.

Been a customer for 15+ years, attempted to make a claim for a collapsed kitchen ceiling early October 2020 and it’s still not resolved early November. In a nutshell, denying all responsibility blaming my issue on “wear and tear” when it’s “clearly” absolutely not. Dragging heels, e mail tennis nonsense to prolong the issue with absolutely no consideration for the customer’s angst. Basically a cringeworthy experience that I’m/will continue to haemorrhage my own cash to date.

Next stop - Ombudsman!

Update, their automated “i’m sorry to hear this” lip service response below means absolutely nothing. You reply with their request but as Per Towergate pathetic track record, no one gets back in touch to sort out the complaint.
