Manager Clive accepted no responsibility ..for their inaccurate battery locator when I submitted my registration which produce the wrong battery which blew my electrics.

Entered my Registration on the Halfords screen to locate a car battery.
It stated a Yuassa HSB 053 was suitable..
Actually it is the mirror image of the correct HSBC 057 .
That meant that when I fitted the battery in the dark I did not notice that I was connecting the terminals completely the wrong way around....It blew all the electrics including the main positive terminal protection fuse...£74!!
In fact Yuassa 053 is impossible to fit with correct polarity due to the power leads..
The Manager said they are not a main dealer and accepted no responsibility for their battery locator and stated they do not relate the submitted registration to chassis numbers.
A pathetic "smart" answer.,..!!
Don't trust Halfords professionalism when it comes to accuracy......

Not so good anymore.....

After about 30 years.... they stopped giving a Thursday text message update of your account balance.
I haver never exceeded my overdraft limit EVER...yet they keep reducing my limit...
They treat you like a criminal and patronise you when you make a simple telephone cash transfer...which takes ages...
You wouldn't think it's your money!!!

Hi Peter. I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience, and apologise for any inconvenience caused. With the text alerts being removed, have you given any thought to having a go with the mobile banking app? It does have notifications, which notify you of any transactions in and out of your accounts, and you can see your account balances any time. In terms of overdrafts, we do regularly review overdrafts in line with the account terms and conditions, but we do make sure to notify you ahead of any changes. With regard to making payments, due to how common scams are, we do have to make sure we do everything we can to protect you and your money, I understand your frustration, and if you would like to discuss any of this further, please do give us a call on 03456 100 100. Cheat......and nasty!!

Aldi's appalling cheap marmalade is cheap and nasty sweet muck with only 20% fruit......
Check out Lidl... excellent with 35% fruit and not much more expensive..... £1:30.
The French marmalade in Sainsbury's only has 30% fruit , costs £3:50..and is similar to Lidl..

Hoover vented tumble dryer.

Hoover vented tumble dryer.
Great looking machine BUT.....
It does not reverse tumble so everything gets into a wet knot... especially later items.
Just mindless design..

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with items tangling in your tumble dryer.

While this model does not feature a reverse tumble function, there are a few ways to help minimize tangling, such as loosely loading the drum, mixing different fabric types, putting dryer balls inside and avoiding overloading.

Check the plans yourself..
They showed an expensive existing plan that was not valid as I changed 6 months to a fixed rate....
It would have cost me significantly if I switched.

Pathetic website...naff and hard to…

Pathetic website...naff and hard to find your bill.
Used O2 network which is appalling in it's strength of coverage... especially in the Guildford area.....luck to get G4...
G5 is a joke..
They should stick to middle level supermarkets....

To the north of Guildford their O2 network is a joke..G5 !??...cannot even get G4 in many locations.
Their naff website is totally illogical and designed so you cannot check all the extras.
Tesco should stick to middle level supermarkets...
