Atrocious customer services

Vinted is great when everything works and I have really enjoyed using the app to buy and sell recently. However this entire positive experience has been overshadowed by the lack of customer service support when something goes wrong.

This month a buyer received my item however the royal mail had made an error on their tracking system, suggesting the item had been returned to sender (but it hadn't). I tried telling vinted that the buyer had confirmed in the in-app messages that they had received the item, however Vinted failed to acknowledge this. I also showed Vinted that the royal mail tracking showed the item was delivered to an address in area +120 miles away from where I lived, but again Vinted failed to listen to this and insisted that the royal mail had returned it to me.

Vinted ignored the royal mail tracking error and ignored that the buyer admitted they had the item and closed my case telling me their final decision was made and I would not receive any further help on the matter. I asked for this to be escalated internally but they told me this was their final decision.

I logged a complaint through Resolver and fortunately they managed to reopen the case and I was finally given the money owed by Vinted 3 weeks after the item was delivered.

Mistakes are made which is understandable, however Vinted's handling of the case was appalling and I really hope their customer services team receive more training.

Helped me get money owed by Vinted

I had a terrible customer service experience with Vinted until Resolver stepped in. Vinted owed me money and failed to read my complaint, therefore prematurely closing the case without looking at the evidence. Getting nowhere I logged a case against Vinted through Resolver and I had a response from Vinted less that 24 hours later offering to send me the money the already owed. The report made through Resolver must have worked and so I'm happy to have used this service.

Excellent

Good value, fast delivery and nice flavours. I moved from Huel to Protein works using the meal replacement for breakfast and lunch. It's very cost effective and tastes good. I find it's less 'gritty' than other makes of meal replacement drinks.

Fresh milk and nice bakery options

We used modern milkman for about 6 months. I enjoyed fresh milk a couple of times a week and the bakery options were always nice. Over 6 months I think there was only a mix up or no delivery on 2 occasions so I would say they are pretty reliable and quick to respond if there's an issue. I only stopped because it was quite costly for us, albeit I know the milk was fresh and tasted good, we find it more cost effective to buy one large carton of milk from the supermarket regrettably.

Wrong item delivered - Customer services no help

Wrong item delivered - I've been trying to return the item for the past week without getting charged but had no response from customer services. I've been out of pocket for 10 days with no way of returning the item without getting charged. Very frustrating.

Will not be using Debenhams again.

Customer of +15 years and will be leaving this year. Poor customer service has made my decision.

I've been a customer for +15 years and have bought many products and services over the years, however this year will be the last. I swapped over from BT internet to EE broadband as I kept getting prompted to do so when I logged into my app. Since then, I haven't had sight of any bills or contract for EE broadband. I've tried countless times to fix the issue with EE over the phone and by their webchat and had no luck. All I want is access to my broadband account. Two weeks ago I spent 45 minutes on the phone and was passed around god knows how many departments having to re-explain my issue, still no fix.

This has been going on for 7 months, if this continues I will be cancelling my direct debit as quite frankly I have no idea what i'm paying for...

I'm fed up with lack of customer support and will be taking my internet and household phone contracts elsewhere when the contacts expire this year.

Helped me get my house deposit back from a scam

Despite all the negative reviews, I can only speak from experience and I’m very grateful for the case handlers we were assigned in 2021/2022. Unfortunately we were subject to a scam during the house buying process and lost our house deposit. ‘Which’ wavered our joining fee as they could see the desperate situation we was in and proceeded to take us through the process to fight our bank to get the money back. After 5 months we managed to get our entire house deposit back thanks to the help and support from which. Thank you!!

10 years of P&O cruising and this cruise was my last. Very disappointed.

As a loyal P&O cruise customer for the past 10 years, I went on two cruises this year with P&O and can honestly say it’s the last I will ever do with this company.

I embarked on the Azura for a Canary Island cruise on 18th November 2022 and the food was very average in the main restaurant and genuinely worse in the beach house. Epicurean was nice but they did not alternate the menu as advertised.

Staff seem very disengaged, I’m not sure if it’s at the end of their contracts before heading home, but many staff particularly in Java (Costa) and the main dining room made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them for being on my holiday. 5 years ago staff would go the extra mile, smile and seemed genuine. Now interactions feel forced and awkward.

Azura is showing it’s age slightly with rust on cabin balcony’s and dated decor in the bedrooms however I could see past this if the experience on the ship was better.

Entertainments team, what and where? I only say 2 ladies from the entertainments team for the entire cruise and they only hosted the quizzes during sea days. Other than that there was very little going on. I saw one man from the entertainments team sat next to the sports equipment in the pool area but again he seem fed up and not happy to be there. Years ago the team would be on the deck dancing and getting people involved having a party around the pool areas.

We took friends on the cruise but was bitterly disappointed (and embarrassed) as we had bigged cruising up to them for years and this was their first cruise. They confessed they wouldn’t be cruising again thanks to P&O.

During our second night and ahead of departure, at 8PM the captain decided to detail norovirus and the symptoms you should expect to have if you catch the virus. Most of the ship were eating, us included in the speciality restaurant which made for uncomfortable dining afterwards. We were made aware of the virus when we boarded, why announce this again during the ships busiest dining time?!

Finally I booked my most recent cruise on the Azura for my wife’s 30th. I tried booking the speciality restaurant for weeks prior to departure. I received an email from P&O customer services the day before departure to say it’s closed and I couldn’t make a reservation. When we boarded the ship it was available but fully booked?!! So we dined in the main restaurant for my wife’s 30th birthday and despite asking the staff in the restaurant to arrange a little happy birthday sing song nothing materialised. This was made worse when they sang to someone else for their birthday on another table. Experiences like this make me feel P&O are letting standards slip as these extra little touches make holidays special.

Sadly this was my 9th and final cruise with P&O.

Quick delivery

Bought a couple of Rab jackets on a Saturday morning and they arrived less than 24 hours later. I returned one jacket and had a very prompt hassle free refund. I was very impressed and will definitely use this business again.

Delayed without notice - first and last order

I made my first and last order with Surfdome. Nearly 2 weeks after purchasing I contacted them asking when the item is likely to arrive. Apparently the item was not in stock and they were awaiting a delivery from a supplier therefore the delivery to me would be unknown. If you are selling items on your website that are not available for dispatch at least let buyers know so they’re not wasting their time. Terrible service, will never consider using this website again.
