Overpriced and not boxed

Ordered a lovely overpriced mug for my friends birthday becausethe logo on it suited her personality. It took 3 weeks to arrive (which was after her birthday) and my main gripe is it wasn't even in a box. I sell mugs myself through my business so luckily had a box to put it in but I am shocked that any mug, especially one that's overpriced would arrive wrapped in bubble wrap only

*Update following reply from seller*
When I contacted you on 12th you actually stated that you would have the order despatched the following week, as her birthday wasn't until the weekend I was optimistic that it would still arrive in time. You actually marked it as despatched on the Friday night but it wasn't collected by Royal Mail until the following Monday. Also, I don't recall your email offering a refund however I am aware of my consumer rights.

Thank you for updating your review. We would like to clarify a few points to ensure the timeline and details are accurately reflected.

Your order was placed on 5th December with a clearly stated delivery timeframe of up to three weeks, as the mugs were temporarily sold out and awaiting reprinting. The order was dispatched on 19th December, which was fully within the advertised delivery timeframe shown on the product page at the time of purchase.

When you contacted us on 11th December, we replied on 12th December to confirm that the order was expected to be dispatched the following week. At no point was delivery guaranteed for a specific weekend or birthday date. Your email advised that the item was required for Christmas, and in response to this we dispatched your order on 19th December and upgraded the shipment to a Tracked 24 service at no additional cost to help it arrive as quickly as possible.

Regarding packaging, the mugs are securely wrapped to ensure they arrive safely. They are not advertised or photographed as arriving in gift boxes, and gift packaging is only included where this is clearly shown and stated on the product listing. We’re sorry that this did not meet your personal expectations.

If the item is no longer required, you are of course welcome to return it in line with our returns policy. Please email hello@limitedabode.co.uk

Don't have access to my subscription

Set up Vogue Runway Subscription in 2024 and had access to it for a year - great! It renewed automatically in 2025 and access has been removed, app shows a message stating 'sign up to access'. I contacted customer service and for about 2 months they stated they couldn't find my account, then they did find my account and said I had to re-sign in. Did that, still no access!! Now I'm being ignored!! Very poor customer service and experience, they're basically not interested once they have your money.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Left stranded on dual carriageway overnight for 14.5hrs. Broke down at 1915hrs, patrol got to me at 0945hrs the following day! Lies constantly told by office staff during the 15 phone calls I made. I was 150 miles away from home for work and subsequently lost a day's work and pay

On reading your response I must add that I informed you from the beginning I needed RSS due to my situation, the first recovery you ordered me was at 2340hrs, 4.5hrs after I'd broken down and this was Recovery only, even though I wanted you to attempt to fix my car roadside (which is the service I pay for) and this recovery driver was not willing to take me 150 miles home at that time of night. The 2nd 'offer' - you wanted to recover me to my place of work at 230am and leave me and my car abandoned there until I was due to start work at 7am. I note you deemed this to be a place of safety in your response! Tell me, would you expect your wife/daughter to be recovered/abandoned on a street in a bad area at 230am and left there? I was advised by your staff to provisionally book this and ring back to change my mind after thinking about it. This I did a couple of minutes later as the area was a high crime area and I would have felt vulnerable. This is the ONLY time I changed my mind and only because it was what your staff told me to do. I was offered another option of a taxi to work and recovery later on by one operator however when I rang back to ask for this option the next person very rudely informed me you would not be providing me with a taxi. You then said you would be there between 6am and 8am because your drivers don't work between 3am and 6am (this was a lie). At 7am I rang for an ETA and was told 817am, then 9am, 910am, 930am, 935am and you eventually arrived at 945am. The driver had been on duty since 7am and had been sent to 2 other breakdowns before mine. THERE IS NO WAY OF JUSTIFYING YOUR SERVICE, A SERVICE THAT I PAY FOR

We've taken a look at the job and can see we were super busy in the area, and this was explained at the time, with multiple options being given to try and get you to a place of safety, so the following day a Patrol could attend to try and complete the repair, we can see you did change your mind on some of these, meaning there were more delays to put the changes into place.
