Love the Airtame 2, so powerful and capable for its size

Airtame is the best device for screen sharing that I know. Flexible, easy to use, stable working, compatible to multiple OS devices.

Our Airtames were easy to set up and very easy for our staff to use. I appreciate how seamlessly they work with our mixed Windows, Apple, and Chrome environment.

It is just the Gen 1 that I am using. As it is EOL and as it is an old tech, I guess it will not be the best experience...

Airtame is the best product on the market for connecting devices wirelessly to displays. The fact that I can connect almost any device, no matter the platform, makes it extremely useful and easy to use for everyone. When they are not in use for someone connecting to them, they allow my building displays to become great digital signage. For the price it really can not be beat.

We recently purchased the Airtame Hub from Airtame and the service could not have been better. Being a customer now for over 3 years Airtame has never failed to let me down. Their innovation in their products also speaks to their benefit. Their products are easy to install and their product do what is expected from them and more. As previously said we have purchased the Airtame Hub a few days back and it's the perfect solution for our boardrooms, it looks really good and fits the aesthetic of the room. We have many Airtame products in our company and I think we will get some more whenever we need it!

The Airtame System is so amazing and is a worry free way to display information and fun slides in any setting.

It is capable of being changed or adjusted to what you need to add in an instant on live slides-a big plus!

Airtame skal primært bruget til powerpoint præsentationer - derfor er det ret afgørende at det fungerer med presenter notes. Oplægsholder skal kunne se sine noter på sin skærm, og selve præsentionen skal ses på projektoren. Det kan man også - sådan da - det er ret bøvlet, og vi oplever ofte problemer med det, hvor undervisere ikke kan få det til at virke. Så er der også nogle af de problemer som andre nævner - lyd, billedeopdatering osv. Alt i alt - så virker det bare ikke - kabel er langt bedre.

Vi købte i december 2021 en Airtame 2 enhed fordi vi skal kunne streame fra iOS enheder via Airplay.

På producentens hjemmeside står der, at AirPlay er understøttet i Airtame 2 enheder med firmware version 4.2.0 eller højere.

Da vi startede enheden op og installerede Airtame app'en på Windows 10, kunne man ikke aktivere AirPlay - sandsynligvis fordi enheden kører en ældre firmware out of the box.

Desværre viste det sig, at firmwaren på enheden ikke kunne opdateres, hverken via Airtame app'en eller Airtame Cloud - selv hvis man vælger at aktivere beta-kanalen for opdateringer kunne man ikke opgradere firmwaren til 4.2.0 eller nyere som der står er påkrævet for at køre AirPlay.

Vi prøvede skærmdeling fra en almindelig Windows PC, og det fungerede i et kvarters tid hvorefter skærmen begyndte at blinke for til sidst at miste forbindelsen helt. Herefter var det ikke muligt at forbinde til enheden igen og den begyndte at stå og reboote af sig selv hele tiden.

For at gøre ondt værre, ville Dustin ikke tage produktet retur - selv om vi annullerede købet på 7. dagen - *suk*.

Vi køber et Apple TV i stedet til en tredjedel af prisen i stedet, og får så oven i købet 4K opløsning i stedet for sølle 1080p. Vi har brugt Apple TV i snart 10 år, og har aldrig haft nogen problemer med dem.

PS: Tag et kig på AirTame 2 changelog, og det står pludselig klart at der er tale om et produkt med ualmindeligt mange børnesygdomme:

A very good tool for a payable price. The devices are easy to configure and flexible to use.
The contact with the sales department en service department was friendly and reacts very quick.

This device is perfect if you are looking for something to present wireless and without effort.

Airtame has managed to integrate itself seamlessly into our work environment. So much so that to this day I had no questions regarding it's operation from the end users. And that is the highest praise for a new device coming into the company that I as an Administrator can come up with. No fuss whatsoever.

It is an awesome device for business environments... and a simply unbeatable performance / value combo if you use it for digital signage. We evaluated a multitude of different services / products for that purpose and ALL of them were 5-10 times more expensive and were less user friendly.

I deduct one star because even though support for Microsoft Exchange is advertised, this only applies for Exchange online. If you run your own "iron" or a hybrid setup (like we do), the retrieval of Exchange calendars will not work.

Also, it supports Google Slides, but none of the Office365 services (except OneDrive).

(Improvement) suggestions:
- Currently you cannot edit screens when the device is offline. Why not allow the edit and then push the changes once the device gets back online?
- Offer to save screen "playlists" and load them back in again. For example if you want to change something temporarily, you cannot simply restore the original playlist.
- Fix the Exchange issues mentioned above. Other services / devices can do it (i.e. getjoan.com), so why can't you?
- The devices tend to run VERY warm, thermal management is sub-par. I cannot imagine that this is doing any good for the lifetime of the PCB inside.

As for the bad reviews here: those are IMHO expecations blown out of all proportion. People, just do your research before you buy something!

If you are looking for a video streaming device to watch your movies on, a Google Chromecast is the better option for you. It's like you are buying a business server to play your games on or buy a semi-truck to go racing around a track: sure it is plenty powerful, but it just is neither meant nor designed for that task and your experience will likely be not what you expect.

If you are a business looking for a seamless wireless presentation device and a superb, userfriendly and flexible digital signage solution with a stellar follow up and great support (thanks Christian and team!) I can wholeheartedly recommend this solution!

I really like this product, I have no idea how you can give it a poor score. We were using Google Chromecasts that are terrible for quality and dropping off. We put one of these in on the back of a recommendation and it has worked perfectly. Its crisp, quick and very fast. That's all I need

Vi har fået airtame installeret i alle undervisningslokaler på min arbejdsplads og fjernet alle stik. Jeg havde ikke forventet så høj hastighed og stabilitet, men selv det at afspille en dvd fra en pc med god lyd virker upåklageligt. Eneste lille minus er at man skal taste IP-adressen medmindre man sidst var i samme lokale.

Why Airtame plus?

The main reason we buy Airtame is for the cloud service we pay a very expansive price for it and now you have to pay monthly fees for the cloud plus?

Guess what you have to pay par devices, not by account.

so if you have 20 devices you have to pay 2400$ year.

no longer paying any airtaim.

Go with google cast cloud services.

I used about fifteen Airtame 1 in my previous job and it was really easy to setting up and managing with Airtame Cloud (and now Airtame Cloud Plus). The ease of use can only appreciated by users and the security by IT team.

The airtame 2 has a superb Danish design, is even faster, more easy to use for users with Google Cast or Miracast if Airtame App isn’t necessary.
