I was getting false readings of Afib and inconclusive until the recent update. Now I only get inconclusive when my heart rate is over 141 bpm and the algorithm correctly identifies sinus rhythm, tachycardia, and ectopic beats (both ventricular and atrial). I wish it could identify ectopic beats and types of tachycardia but hopefully in the future. I can read a 6 lead ECG and happily it's not giving false readings anymore. It's a good device that's getting better.
The device is brilliant until it fails after nearly 3 years of careful use and there is no replacement discount program for loyal supporters of the technology.
I have had a KARDIA device for some years since being diagnosed with Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation, it helps me to accurately monitor when I go in and out of episodes of this frightening heart condition. I wish I had bought one sooner, if I had found out about them earlier it would have made diagnosis so much easier and I would not have had to try to get to hospital for an ECG during an episode of unknown length.
Yesterday for the first time I used the diagnostic service to analyse a strange recording, I paid just £5 and received a detailed analysis of recording within 24 hours. An excellent service thank you.
The 6L produces some useful ecg data but if you have an intermittent arrhythmia, by the time you're ready to take the reading with it, the event has passed. If you happen to catch one then it does produce good 30s records. The note taking is a bit of a waste of time, you can't review the data in any summary form without signing up for additional services at cost.
Delivery failed due to shipping error - chased 4 times by email, no response to any email.
Had to contact MasterCard directly to get my money back as the companies customer service is non-existent.
Purchased and delivered as expected from Amazon.
The product records your EC(K)G, you can't tell much from this except that you are in fact alive. I tried paying £5 for an analysis, the transaction failed.
Called support, hopeless incompetants that didn't know the software or how to stop it constantly reminding me to take medicines and record another ekg.
I've returned it and am looking for an alternate.

A Kardia Mobile bought in June 2016 and therefore out of warranty now, failed regularly and properly to work in August 2019, but AliveCor could not care less. Warning, it may be that the Kardia Mobile has a very limited life span and there will be no support from AliveCor.
Excellent product - very poor communication and customer service experience.
I bought the item, which had a 30 day trial period.
Later found out from doctor, that condition did not warrant need of product. So I asked to return it.
1/ Was asked why ? Then had different inconsistent emails asking for the order number, which was clearly on my email, and eventually received RMA.
2/Had to pay return postage.
3/No acknowledgment of item return
4/ Had to send 4 reminders to obtain a refund.
Dreadful experience. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE !
