Sin aire acondicionado el camión en un día de 40 grados por 7 horas de regreso. Además sin aviso cancelaron la visita a la Estatua de la libertad. Horrible experiencia

I booked this tour and was excited to go on this trip. Sadly, the tour operator did not contact me until they day before the tour after the cancellation window was closed. Based on the information provided in the operator's message, I realized this tour would not be suitable, and I tried to cancel through Viator. The Viator representative informed me that she had canceled the tour, but that because refund window had passed, I would need to request a special refund from Amigo Tours. Not only did Amigo Tours not refund any part of my payment, the driver showed up at my hotel the next morning and woke me up. Either the Viator representative lied and did not cancel my tour or Amigo Tours has serious logistical problems. Stay far away from Amigo Tours and don't trust Viator with your bookings. Find someone else. You may regret it otherwise.

Booked via the GoCity Barcelona pass, and made the reservation with Amigo Tours 20 days prior to use.

On the day before we were to actually visit, Amigo Tours cancelled our previously confirmed reservation.

Instead of being helpful, we received no customer service. The official email was rude and merely said they were not responsible and would cancel if we did not accept the one alternative timing they proposed. Left us completely high and dry.

DO NOT BOOK. Failred to show up for pick at the designated pick up location (HOTEL LOBBY BELLMAN AREA). Waited from 6:50 for 7:05 pick-up. Contacted the company at 7:18 and they said bus came and left. The bus never came to the area in their instructions email. We wasted this day of our trip as it was too late to book anhy other tours. Company operators were unprofessional and lacked any customer service and did not offer to return or reschedule. DO NOT WASTE your money on this company, book somewhere else! Completely ridiculous and rude.

1. Terrible costumer service - To book 2 tours I literally had to write 10-15 emails. Every time they reply to me in a different language. Sometimes I would write in Spanish and they would reply in English and the other way round. Confirmations for dates that we didn't ask for. Btw first we tried to book via telephone and they said that for the date that we wish they have space for two people but it's "better to write an email". Via email, that I send 2 minutes later I got the response: "On that day we don't operate tours.". In conclusion: it's a chaos.

2. Biggest problem:
We booked our tours with a Go City Pass (Go Barcelona 48h). In order to make a reservation for the tours we had to send them the QR-Codes in advance. So we planned to use the Pass on Thursday and Friday, since we arrived Wednesday night. To our surprise our Pass stopped working on Friday afternoon, because Amigo Tours indicated to our Pass Provider, that we used our Pass with them on Wednesday afternoon. Since we haven't arrived to Barcelona by then that was a clear mistake from Amigo Tours. The biggest problem: they didn't even apologize and they DID'T CORRECT THE MISTAKE even after promising on the phone that they would! Then they literally ignored my emails!! Really insulting!
The funny thing is: the one Tour that we did with them on Friday morning was actually good. But the management is TERRIBLE! Maybe if you book directly with them without using a Pass you might have a better experience, but for us it just spoiled the whole vacation and left us with a bad aftertaste.

NOT BUYING AGAIN FROM EXPEDIA .and AMIGOTOUR
I bought 6 tours of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona Spain .. $60 for each ticket with thats $360.00. The tour was to be given by AMIGOTOURS. One day before the tour we received an email stating that the access to the tower was cancel, if we wish to do the partial tour and later they will refund the difference. So we took the partial tour, they notified us the day before the tour in the afternoon. AMIGOTOUR offers 2 tours one tour with the tower access ($60.00) and one without the tower access($40.00). So we expected to get $20.00 refund for each ticket. WRONG!!! AMIGOTOUR told us they will refund $6.00 for each ticket. When I told them it was $20.00 they said that THEIR POLICY is to refund $6.00 per ticket. When I wrote to EXPEDIA .. they told us that there was nothing they could do .. it was AMIGOTOURs decision. I told EXPEDIA I did not buy the tour from AMIGOTOUR, I bought the ticket in EXPEDIA.
They did not care .....that was not their problem. ..

TERRIBLE SERVICE ,,, NOT HELPFUL AT ALL..

Son unos irresponsables. No lo recomiendo para nada. Hace unos meses, estando alojados en el Bahia Príncipe Sian Ka´an contratamos el transfer al aeropuerto de Cancún desde la página de Despegar.com. Cuando llega el voucher vemos que el proveedor del servicio era "Amigo Tours", enseguida me puse a buscar referencias en la web y me encontré con muchos casos de relatos en los que habían dejado varados a los pasajeros, sobretodo en el tramo Hotel-Aeropuerto. Tal como lo temíamos nosotros fuimos otro de esos casos. Cuando llegó la hora pactada y no llegaban no pudimos contactarnos telefónicamente porque nadie atendía pero sí contestaron vía mail alegando que estaban retrasados media hora por problemas con el tránsito. Nunca llegaron, tuvimos que tomar un taxi porque con el tiempo transcurrido esperando a estos ineptos y los 100 kms de distancia, ya corríamos riesgo de perder nuestro vuelo. Por supuesto el problema con el tránsito nunca existió. Respecto a Despegar.com, hicimos el reclamo y nos devolvieron el dinero pero esto no quita el mal momento pasado, además de lo que nos hicieron gastar debiendo, por el apuro, elegir la opción más costosa. Quizás a "Amigo Tours" le convengan más los traslados de llegada porque de esa forma puede enganchar gente para ofrecer sus excursiones. En cambio los traslados de salida no deben ser negocio para ellos. Despegar debería tercerizar los transfers con empresas serias y no con estos inescrupulosos que cobran por un servicio que saben de antemano que no van brindar.

I suggest anyone going to Mexico to be very careful of who they book with. You should be VERY careful about AmigoTours:

1: MexicoCity booked tour including Frida Kahlo Museum incl hotel pick up. After recieval of confirmation the bookingnumber was changed. Did not think much about it- but it actually ment that AmigoTours put me on another tour not including hotel pick up. Tour was supposed to start at 8AM, at 830AM I called them and was told that hotel pick up was not provided and I had to find my way to another place in CDMX! Time and money lost.

2: Booked return transfer through Viator.com, where AmigoTours are the provider...No one was there on my arrival, called the number provided which was not answered. Got people to help me to try to find the provider. No Luck. Like everything else in Cancun, there are always other providers to help and I was robbed USD46 for my transfer to my hotel. Provider claims that they are in the airport 24/7 and will not refund any money...If that is true then I find it very strange that their colleagues in the airport dont know them!

Offcourse Viator believes its provider, there is money involved, and God forbid them to take any responsability. I hope that AmigoTours will get a commission from the taxitouts, there will be anough for everyone. And it will also stop me from coming again- so tiring with cheating and greedy providers ruining ones holiday.
