We moved to Riverside Medical Practice Harworth in August 2025 and we are very impressed with the surgery

Patients words are heard and taken into consideration. Suggestions are looked into and reviewed. Response from Doctors and admin staff is prompt which is appreciated. Thank you for the awesome work you do via this site and as a whole.

Using anima is easy, it asks you targeted questions based on what ailments you think it is first: Questions you expect a doctor to ask. This triages you, which saves time for receptionists who have a lot to do since the government insists on so much paperwork for everything these days. That in itself is a direct result of people becoming more litigious, selfish, offended, demanding of their rights, inconsiderate and unforgiving, so everything has to be documented in order to protect the bottom line (not get sued and lose money) but I digress.

It takes a few minutes to fill in the form, the system assesses you and alerts a doctor/nurse if it thinks you need it. Sometimes it can highlight someone who has played down their symptoms or thinks they can wait even though it’s practically an emergency.

I’ve spoken to doctors who think it’s a great service and frees them up to be able to keep all their plates spinning. This is how AI should work!

Anima appointment booking via Albany House Medical Centre in Wellingborough has always been straightforward.

It’s important however to begin the online appointment booking process as early as possible from 8am for instance with this practice. Although I have just received a same-day appointment at 9.40am but that may be due to the more urgent nature of the medical request.

Albany House Wellingborough staff have always been consistently helpful and friendly.

Tiffany was very helpful and patient. Explained the reason for any delays. Took the details of my symptoms and an appointment was made within 10 minutes.

The Surgery tells you to call at a specific time to make an appointment. When you call you are immediately entered in a phone queue, which is their way of entering you in a lottery to see if you get an appointment or not. Or the Surgery may ask you to use anima online and after completing the answers you receive the email that says, "Your request to Hamble Valley Health has been submitted. You may not receive a response for a number of working days....to check the status of your request click here." And when you "click here", You get this response, "Your request has been resolved. Please contact your practice if you need further assistance." Which makes you feel like you've been suckered into a no response.

It can help whoever has their NHS app installed in their phone they can search easily

A few niggles with the form but the system delivered a rapid and effective response.

I don't think it's effective with my GP practice handling.

Easy way to explain your symptoms and get quick response from surgery

My reception team always remember who I am, they are efficient and good out of their way to help if they can. The doctors are great and helpful and try to understand my needs to the best of their capability.

The new Anima system is working very well. I put in a request and got a response within 30 minutes. Very pleased with how speedy it is now.

1st time using the New Service with Argyle Street Doctors.
5stars fast and was seen straight away. I’m a Diabetic and suffer Chronic health Problems.
Was given a Prescription same day on a Friday also. Which is normally really busy.
But I like the new service so far easy to use and lots of easy follow instructions.

My doctors' surgery is great.
