I have been a loyal customer of Answer.co.uk for over 6 years. However over the last year I started to notice a much lower grade of service with little information coming through from the calls and less of a rapport with customers.
I decided to leave Answer when I got this email from a potential client last week -
"I thought I would send you an email, I called this morning to enquire about a website build and your virtual secretary was incredibly rude - I am quite sure this is not the experience you want to perceive to your potential new customers."
On Monday I called them to talk about this. A member of the team took my call eventually. She said that she would take a listen to my call and also speak to the operator, then very proudly said she would give me £10 credit for my troubles. I said I would rather have my situation taken seriously and would prefer my account to be looked after by a selection of top rated operators for a while as my confidence had been knocked. Apparently this wasn't possible at all. Not something they do. It's completely random which operator you get to answer your calls.
I later spoke to a team leader who said she listened to the call and said she would up my credit to £20.
A complete insult, after the potential of losing £1000s from a potential client. Answer did nothing to put my confidence back into Answer and I closed my account that day.
I’ve used other call answering services and they have not been very good. These have been brilliant.
The services provided for our business by Answer.co.uk are invaluable, professional and responsive.Very pleased.

Really useful service in that there is an email and text message to let me know of any communications. There is also a user log in so that I can keep track of messages. It’s very easy to keep track of fees too.

The people that answer the phone on our behalf often sound moody and take details down wrong but overall the service is great. The customer service is amazing. (as in when I have a problem and need to speak with account manager etc).

I use answer.co.uk to answer my phone at evenings and weekends. They are extremely reliable and always pass on accurate details of the call. The service is great value for money.
I first engaged the services of Answer.co.uk during the first lockdown, when my staff were furloughed and I was trying to juggle all of the calls myself. However, even after my staff returned, I was so impressed that I continued using them and will do so for the forseeable future. Knowing that the calls will be answered if I cant get to the call quick enough takes the pressure off and helps us manage our day. Would highly reccommend.
