Faulty Scooter waiting for refund
Paid £269 for a scooter for sons birthday , received scooter next day as advertised but scooter mudguard was faulty and broke. No response to numerous emails requesting a refund despite website claiming dedicated customer service . In process of trying to get a refund .....will update on progress

Our returns department dealt with your query the earliest possible and arranged a return collection for your scooter within three days. Also, they have confirmed that your return has been received and a refund has been issued for you.
Finally, we are sorry that you received your scooter with a faulty mudguard, usually we send our customers a new mudguard free of charge so they can easily replace it. However, you decided to return the faulty product and we helped you accordingly. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you could please update your review.

Fake scooter and terrible customer service
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I ordered a a scooter from this company and the scooter I received was not what was advertised on their website. I emailed them soon as we received the scooter and told them I was not happy with the item and I thought the scooter was fake as the logo of the brand should be on the footwell of the scooter. They told me that the scooter was not fake and that the logo is now on the tube of the scooter, as this is the new version but yet their pictures on their website show the logo on the footwell and says this is the newest model for 2021. It has taken them nearly a month to refund me, I’ve emailed numerous times and not had a reply. I’ve now received an email to say that £25 has been deducted from my refund to pay for the postage cost of the scooter being sent back to them, nothing was mentioned about me being liable for postage costs when I first emailed them. I even stated that as the scooter was fake I wanted the scooter collected and the costs to be covered by them. If I was liable I should of been told I was liable for the cost as I would of make other arrangements as I’m sure I would of been able to get a courier cheaper than £25. I explained myself to them numerous times and they are saying that now the refund is done they can not issue me a refund for the postage cost. Customer service is absolutely shocking and definitely sell fake scooters. The quality of the scooter is poor and can definitely tell the difference in scooters as we have now bought one from the proper company.

This is a very unfair review. When you first contacted us to return your scooter, you mentioned that you would like to return your scooter because there is no AOVO logo anywhere on the scooter. We was surprised at this as it is highly unlikely that we have sold a scooter with no AOVO logo when we are the AOVO company ourselves. We assumed that it may be a one off printing error on the scooter, as we accepted your argument without raising any doubts. Therefore, we mentioned you to not to worry and we will arrange the return costs for this and issue a refund accordingly. Nevertheless, when we received your return, the ‘Aovo Pro’ logo was on the tube of the scooter. This is something that we asked you to check and you mentioned that there was none. Still, we decided to issue you with a refund of what you paid minus £25 for the return postage costs as clearly your return comes under the category of change of mind return in which the customer is liable for the return postage.
Recently, there has been a few updates in the branding of our product. We have shifted our logo on the tube of the scooter which reads ‘Aovo Pro’. And soon we will be bringing up the latest AOVO model with a complete new logo on the scooter deck, replacing our popular AOVO logo. It is important that you are aware of the new updates on the branding of our product before stating our product is fake.
Furthermore, the only way to check if an AOVO Electric Scooter is original or fake is by checking if the Scooter connects to the ‘aovopro’ app. If it does, this means that your scooter is the Official AOVO. We also asked you to do this to verify that your scooter is the Official AOVO, however you never did this and never replied whether it connects or it does not connect to the app.
In addition, we believe you purchased our product and later because you changed your mind you decided to return it. Under our returns policy, consequently we issued you with an appropriate and fair refund of what you paid minus £25 to cover the postage costs.
Finally, we believe it is extremely disappointing that due to the fact that you were charged £25 for returning the scooter back to us, while you made false statements that our scooter has no logo, you have then decided to leave an appalling review stating ‘AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE’.
We hope to continue serving our customers as we have done throughout the last few years, and we hope our future potential customers are aware of the authentic reason behind your review.

Love my new scooter! Goes up to 20mph but 13mph usually feels fast enough. Great battery life - lasts a very long time. Was looking for the best one and I think I’ve definitely found it! Quick delivery would highly recommend.

Firstly, again we would like to apologise that your AOVO scooter is experiencing issues with the battery.
We are aware of some of our customers having issues with our batteries, thus we have raised this with the manufacturers to avoid future customers from experiencing this problem.
In order to resolve the issue in the quickest way possible, we usually decide to ship the battery to you so you are able to get your scooter running again. However, we understand that some of our customers may not feel confident in replacing the scooter’s battery. Therefore, we do have an option of arranging the repair for you free of charge. This option is often less preferred by our customers as it can take up to four weeks for you to receive your scooter back repaired.
If you would like us to arrange this for you please drop us an email requesting a repair, and we will start the process for you.

I bought it for my sons birthday he used it 3 times as soon as they battery started to die it wouldn't charge i received it on the 5or6th Oct n stopped charging by the 10th i emailed them with no reply searched for a number for them found a mobile number a man answered and said hello not professionally letting the caller know the company ei aovo isaid is this aovo scooter told him my problem he said we will reply to ur email.. still no emails back. £259.99 is alot of money I searched for the official site because ther was so many fake sites i was so scared of spending so much and getting either nothing or a fake on arrival it was very well packed looked very well made logged into the app for it no problem but after a few days only using it 3 times it was on 60% so put it on charge and its never charged since its not the charger iv tried it on his friend's one and it works but iv seen reviews of people saying that they look the real thing but after the battery dies completely it won't charge again and same as me no replies this is a scam iv heard nothing now apart from sending a new battery on the 19th October nothing since

Aovo pro scooter bargain or just a cheap model
Ok scooter delivered next day tracked so very quick and free delivery, the scooter looks the part seems well built only time will tell if parts are good well packaged. I did email them regarding the app as there is a Aovo app with a black icon and also a blue icon, I belive the black icon is the correct app to use but as yet Aovo has not emailed me back so very slow response when they brag about customer service and how important we are. The scooter itself is fast very sturdy app and scooter work perfect together no issues. Would really recommend this scooter as price against what you get is very good ip65 rated is a bonus too. The app as great features especially when u can controll the speed from your app so when ya kids are riding u can set speed limits whilst they learn how to ride safe.
