Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're genuinely sorry that we were unable to fulfil your order and understand how disappointing this was.
To clarify, the product page stated an estimated dispatch time of 5–7 working days, rather than indicating that the item was physically in stock. Unfortunately, after your order was placed, our supplier informed us that they were unexpectedly out of stock and unable to fulfil our replenishment order.
As soon as we received this information, we contacted you within three days of your order to let you know there would be a further delay. We appreciate this wasn't the news you were hoping for, but we wanted to keep you informed as quickly as possible rather than waiting until the end of the estimated dispatch window.
We would also like to clarify that the product is not still being sold as available. As soon as we were notified by our supplier that stock was unavailable, the product was marked as out of stock on our website to prevent further orders.
It is never our intention to accept orders that we cannot supply, and in this instance we were let down by our supplier. We appreciate that this doesn't change the inconvenience caused to you, and for that we sincerely apologise.
We're sorry that this experience has affected your confidence in us and appreciate your feedback, which helps us continue to improve our communication and processes.
