I arrived at Bristol airport Saturday 24th March and went to the office to book transport home which is about 3 miles. The office operator quoted £40.74 which I said was “highway robbery”to which he replied “all prices increase after 11 o’clock at night”. I took the taxi but these prices are astronomic because Arrow have a monopoly at Bristol Airport. There should be some competition to stop this profiteering.

Booked a taxi from the airport. We were told 20 to 25 minutes wait and charged just short of £35. Trip with Uber going was half this. Taxi was parked fair bit away from the terminal too. Next time will just book an Uber as Arrow just a complete rip off and not a great service.

If I could leave no stars I would. Absolutely rip off service. Come on Newcastle Airport, get a grip and look after your customers by having a decent taxi company for your contract. Why not have a LOCAL company instead of a national one do it, support local business.

Booked Blue Line Taxis for trip to airport (2 miles). £6 fare plus the £4 the airport charge them to drop off (another rip off). Great, fair and faultless service from Blue Line 👍👍

Got back to Newcastle after our holiday and booked Arrow Taxis in the terminal for the same journey back home. £16!!! 60% more than Blue Line and they probably don't have to pay the £4 a time fee to the airport being their sole taxi provider. Rip off, stitch up, monopoly, call it what you want but they will unashamedly take your eyes out. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask when he robbed you. Due to the price there was no tip for the driver so their employees also lose out.

Shameful company, shocking rip off. Take my advice and book a different taxi company to pick you up. You may have to wait a few minutes but it could save you a fortune. Will be Blue Line all the time for us now.

At this moment time sat waiting for our booked taxi,flight arrived on time told no drivers,so one car to take all people thay have booked wanted people to share but why should we when we have all paid our fee.shoukd of learnt last time time used as it was same then,told if use service no refund but at 1.40am in morning not alot of choice absolutely disgusting avoid ,!!!!!! Oh now we have a different company collecting we standing in rain at pick point with disabled son in wheelchair ,booked a estate paid extra and saloon turns,no help to load car and then to top it off can you pay the £5 to get out airport,which obviously we didn't what a bloody joke refund wanted asap

Absolute rubbish service. No consideration for disabled peopl. When you put a complaint in, Scott, the driver manager did nothing. I have been waiting for nearly 2 weeks for an explanation. I paid Arrow premium price and service for LA service. Absolutely shocking. If I was you I would try your local firm. Avoid Arrow all together.

Expensive and incredibly rude driver who asked if we were going to a different area than we book and got argumentative when I tried to explain that was not the area and his taxi was harder to find as he had no signs or number to instruct people to his vehicle. I would never recommend using this company. It is daylight robbery how much they cost....

Absolutely very poor ; a real rip off; Bristol airport seem to have removed all competition by giving exclusive rights to this absolutely awful company. Both a reflection of how terrible the taxi company is, and how bad Bristol airport is by not allowing other more competitive companies pick up and drop off. Even with £7 (hugely inflated drop off/pick up fee) other companies would be £16 cheaper than the fee they charge me.

Arrived to a problem over car hire so took a taxi, not booked in advance. No wait, even on a dark wet night. Driver very kind and helpful, taking me through a dark garden with his torch and waiting until I was inside. Clean cars, competent and helpful drivers.

The first driver wanted us to walk across the car park in the wind and pouring rain. I said no and he protested that he couldn’t come into the car park area. I know it costs £5, but given we were paying £8 more than it cost us to get to the airport, it’s not very fair.

Then we were directed to a Mercedes Vito and there was no driver, I returned to the office and he appeared. He didn’t offer to help us with our luggage and through one samsonite case on top of the other. I put my back pack in the boot and he realised that one suitcase would fall off the other decided to throw one of the large suitcases on top of my back pack which contained 2 iPads.

LBA needs fo urgently review who is allowed to operate from the airport.

On 16/10/23 we ordered & paid for our return journey from LB airport. After waiting over 45 minutes we managed to find another company. We immediately cancelled the trip with Arrow & were informed about receiving a refund. We emailed as requested but no reply. Two weeks later had a reassuring conversation with Lisa who confirmed the refund and gave us a refund code/number.& wait 3-5 working days.We are still waiting & it’s 14/11/23 I’ve now called the Horsforth branch 5 times only to be transferred then cut off. Would never recommend

Pre booked from leeds Bradford’s airport. No one at the pre booked window so had to join huge que to be told my taxi would be half an hour. Cancled and rung a local firm who were there in 5 mins and 30% cheaper

We booked a taxi to Bristol Airport by phone and paid by credit card. We then saw their poor reviews, and found another (also cheaper) option so cancelled. They could not give a refund by phone (strange as they can take money by phone) and claimed we had to email. We emailed several times with no acknowledgement. We phoned again and were told email is the only way to get a refund. this was over a month ago and we are now raising this as a credit card dispute

After writing a review of a complaint regarding Arrow Cars service from Leeds/Bradford Airport, Arrow Cars replied asking me to get in touch with them over this matter. I phoned on the number given where I was told "they had nothing booked on the day they picked me up". So in that case they could not sort anything out with us. That's one way if getting out of it!!!

We booked and paid in advance for a cab to meet us from a 10.30 p.m. flight at Leeds-Bradford but no cab was there. On appeal at the office they had to search for the booking and eventually found it after several minutes. We were told to wait five minutes and then five minutes more. When my wife protested the dispatcher suddenly claimed I had booked it for a completely different time {totally untrue}. Eventually, we were shouted at to go to the other side of the car park by a driver who then marched off. Both in our middle seventies, my wife walking with a stick. No doors were opened, no courtesy shown. I emailed the company about our disappointment at the service but received no reply whatever.

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I booked a taxi for 7am to take me to the coach station, so I obviously had a deadline. I rang at 7:05, and 7:10 to enquire where it was, and both times I was told it was on its way and would be there in 2 minutes. A car eventually turned up at 7:28, and the driver said he had only received the job a couple of minutes earlier. The operator LIED to me, I missed the coach and had to pay another £20 together the next one. If he had told the truth I would have been able to make other arrangements and to have caught my original coach.
I will NEVER USE THIS CAB COMPANY again.

£16 for a three mile trip from Newcastle Airport.Only cabs allowed to queue in the airport.Save yourself money and book a taxi elsewhere.Very expensive ride.Check other reviewers.Same story.

We pre booked our taxis to take us to Bristol Airport from an inn 4 miles away and to take us back when we returned.
We were very happy with the service we received. Both drivers were friendly and professional. We were picked up on time on our way to the airport and our allocated taxi was immediately ready on our return.
Yes it’s a bit expensive but we believe it was worth it for the convenience and professionalism.

Just paid over £40 for a six mile trip from Bristol airport. Outrageously expensive and price gouging at its worst. That's what happens without competition.

Update…just had an email from Trustpilot, Arrow cars will take down my review unless a provide my deals….why….thay know exactly what they charge for a 6 mile ride from Bristol, just an excuse to take down my review. I will put up another if they do….rip off price gouging

Pre booked a taxi for 10:45, waited 20mins r
and called again to be told that the company was busy with airport runs and if we were okay waiting another 40 minutes ??! No of course we aren’t ! Found another company that can be here in 10 minutes… would NOT recommend this company at all (other company is village cars)

Arrived at Bristol Airport at midnight... the guy manning the desk needs a serious attitude adjustment. RIP off prices ... driver of taxi 14 believes himself to be an F1 driver, not appreciated in the rain.
