I made a mistake when first researching this company and only saw the fake reviews. They are probably the worst "company" I've ever dealt with. They were very nice when setting up the plan, now I can't reach anyone who can actually do anything with the claim. I'm thinking they are some type of "broker" that probably uses a different company for claims which is why they don't know anything and can't actually help. The phone number rings forever, voicemails disconnect instantly, and nobody responds to e-mails. The online website for filing claims has zero information for the customer and there's no way to know what is happening without calling someone, which is also almost impossible. The only information I've received so far after 3 weeks is that they'll pay 38 dollars for a 700 dollar part, and short the shop on labor as well. This company should be class action sued for their obvious attempts to circumvent their contracts.

Scammers. Paid $3k for the warranty and after a year, sold my car. Called them and they gave me the steps to cancel my warranty and get a refund. Signed all the paperwork, had it notarized, and mailed with tracking. Called them for 2 months after and they finally picked up and said they got the paperwork and mailed the check. It’s been 3 months since they “mailed the check” and no one is replying to my emails or calls anymore. Stay away.

I have the same complaints as everyone else. ASE Protection and what they claim is complete scam!!! I filed a claim on July 5, 2024, and was told the check was in the mail. To date my mechanic hasn't received a dime. I had to come out of pocket myself for the repairs in order to show good faith to my trusted mechanic. I now sit on the phone daily trying to get in contact with ASE. I wait on hold for hours on end and the call drops. At this point I too agree with the other reviews regarding they block your number. Next step is small claims court.

DO NOT PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THESE CROOKS.

WARNING -- This company is a complete fraud. The will not pay for ANY repairs. And, you can not get out of your contract. I have been waiting over 8 months for a refund on the contract that I cancelled. They keep saying stories like the "checks only get mailed once a month" or " your check got lost in the mail".

RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! They will show you fake web sites with false reviews of their business.

Frauds, I purchased their protection plan 3 years ago, about a year ago I had a issue with my truck and after getting approved for warranty work and following their procedures I have yet to receive a dime from ASE. After weeks of me reaching out to them I was continually getting the runaround, check is on the way, they kept saying. I cancelled them and they continued to withdraw money from my bank account, I had to change banks for it to stop. Complete frauds

I would give this company -5 stars if I could.

At the point of sale they talk about "bumper to bumper" coverage but when you need something done, they string you along for weeks and spend all there time digging up every semi-plausible reason to deny every service issue you present to them.

My Audi Q7 needs a new starter. This should very obviously be covered under the contract. Apparently, because the PCV sensor had a fault code 2 years ago that was cleared and never came back, they won't do it.

They're denying by saying it is due to my 'negligent treatment' of the vehicle, which is 100% nonsense. The vehicle has been regularly maintained as long as I've owned.

I have filed a complaint with the office of the attorney general in my state's consumer protection arm, and I have also filed a fraudulent charge claim with Amex, which I used to pay for it.

They never respond to email, it is impossible to get them on the phone. They are a fly-by-night whose business model is to wear the consumer out until they give up.

I would love to give, but I will not stop until my money is returned. But I strongly, strongly advise you to go nowhere this company, which has no interest in providing the services they claim and is happy to drive you insane to keep you from getting them.

Our shop received an authorization for repairs for a customer that has ASE Protection and after completing repairs we submitted for payment. We submitted back on 11-20-2023 and yet to receive payment. They tell you the check will come end of the month. Every month a call for status and each time there is an excuse. It has been seven months now and still all they can tell me is the check will be sent out end of month. Can't get to a supervisor or manager, they just tell you to email which I did twice but no response. I will never take this warranty ever again.

They lie that check mailed to mechanic 4 times policy cancelled told they don't owe me anything liars. Help US write to FBI each time we do they make a log on complains and will go and shut them down like Itt-Tech in California. The staff are liars hope they die and suffer with cancer.

This isn’t a real company. They will take your money, not cover any work and Will not refund your money. They are not licensed to do business in Florida and probably not likely licensed anywhere.

After letters from my lawyer, attorney generals office of the bbb (which they are not members of) they blessed me with a partial good faith refund. They stated I did not submit the correct paperwork - which I had - several times. Good faith BS -they had none.

please let me know to get on the class auction law they owe me over $4000 for a refund on a policy over 2 years ago and i still call every month and get same lost in mail will resend please help this company is a scam

I have never had such a horrible customer experience and will take the time out of my day to ensure I share such experience on all forms of review, social media and BBB. 3 calls exceeding 20 to 40 minute answer time, 'lost emails', emails not submitted, supervisors arguing and attempting to make excuses for such lack of service and professionalism. 48 hrs so far with my car in the shop waiting for ASE to get around to authorizing my repair. Oh and the covered rental car only applies once they have 'authorized' the repair.

Its a scam to frustrate you and the mechanic. I'm waiting for the eventual denial for whatever reason or the 'only cover X $s of the repair. DO NOT BUY!!!!

BUYER BEWARE! For those researching or shopping for the best extended service plan for their vehicle or motorcycle, ASE PROTECTION is NOT a good option. ASEPROTECTION.com's website states "Our top rated Motorcycle warranty plans protect you from surprise expenses." In reality, despite what the sales rep says, their contract is filled with legal jargon that simply protects them AND allows them to deny claims. Their Total Blue Shield contract shows covered components under section IV. However, section V shows EXCLUSIONS: PARTS AND SERVICES NOT CONVERED. This is what their claims administrator will reference when denying your claims. As others have mentioned, submitting a claim is a slow and inconvenient process, your calls/claims will be funneled by a small team that provides little to no updates, and you'll be left with an expensive warranty contract that does little to "protect you from surprise expenses." Then, cancelling the contract is just as frustrating. You'll have to provide "a notarized affidavit by mail verifying the vehicle mileage and a DATED VERIFIABLE current ODOMETER PHOTO." Be sure to send it by certified mail and require a signature of receipt. Do not purchase a warranty from ASE PROTECTION. It will not "save you thousands of dollars in repair bills" as stated on their website! If you do, however, be sure to identify all excluded/non-covered components. You'll see that it leaves you with mediocre coverage and protection.

This company is a fraud! They are 100% out to scam people out of ALL their money! They lie, will always say the check is mailed out, fully knowing you're never getting paid. They told me at least 8 times my check was mailed, and all eight times they said my check was lost. How are businesses like this able to commit such heinous acts?! STAY AWAY FROM ASE PROTECTION...you will be robbed!

Well, as many others have indicated, this company just doesn't want to pay, and they will run you and your mechanic through the ringer just to tell you that they are not paying. Honestly, I don't know how the employees can sleep at night knowing that they are taking advantage of customers who pay allot of money for this protection. They work harder to find reason to deny a claim than help you receive the dollars for your repair.

MARIA IS RUDE AND UNWILLING TO HELP. I AM A REPAIR FACILITY AND NOW THAT THE AGREED UPON WORK HAS BEEN FINISHED ASE WARRANTY WILL NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIRS THEY AUTHORIZED. TOTAL SCAM COMPANY DO NOT USE!
