worst computer ive ever purchased
worst computer ive ever purchased. Support staff do not exist. Bought computer and first ASUS download they told me i must install now means my laptop takes 20 mins just to start, then get pop up saying ASUS can fix this if i purchase another download. ive given up using mine as my samsung phone despite being four years old does everything better and quicker than the now rubbish laptop
Never use Asus or their support team
i bought a brand new laptop from Asus. The laptop failed, contacted their support who were helpful and raised a support ticket to have my laptop returned to them.
The laptop is lost in transit with their courier and I am going round in circles trying to resolve this. I have had to delay university cause as lack of IT equipment and they dont seem to care. I need my device replaced urgently but you can only communicate through a faceless portal with no escalation process readily available.

Recently purchased Factory £3000 refurbished ASUS laptop which was faulty on arrival, Shift key did not work and tried all the youtube video guides to resolve the problem as Asus support is a waste of you time and just useless as the advise you to follow a l,ink to an online guide to run diagnostics and if it doesn't remedy the problem the you must wipe the computer memory and return the product. I returned it and order an brand new laptop £2600 and it is now also faulty (turns off randomly and reboots losing all unsaved files) Asus support where equally useless when contacted to help solve the problem. If you want good support on an expensive laptop I recommend Alienware range from Dell

Very poor service order a motherboard and they sent out wrong motherboard.
Said its the one I order which it wasn't when I told them the sku number and had proof on what I order then there sent me a returns label for wrong item.
Laptop outlet who is the distributor for Asus is a waste of time and haven't a clue what there selling.
ASUS TUF Gaming B660M-Plus
Purchased ASUS TUF Gaming B660M-Plus WIFI D4 from CCL. Very impressed with delivery service and reasonable price. The board itself seems to be of superb quality - very sturdy, heavy and plenty of I/O ports. Excellent
Dreadful ASUS laptop
Dreadful ASUS laptop - trackpad doesn't work rendering entire laptop unusable. As expected ASUS denied any responsibility immediately and v v difficult to find anyone to speak to. Do NOT buy ASUS laptops, they are rubbish and false economy.
Warranty worth as much as soiled toilet paper
I purchased a 2nd hand Asus Strix X570-F Gaming motherboard from a small computer shop which is 1.5 hours away from me. Shop offered 30 Day RTB due to them taking it as part ex for another customer.
Nearly 60 days later, the board developed a fault. So I contacted the store, and they said they can't do it because it was taken as part ex from another customer and pointed me to Asus direct.
I contacted Asus UK, who from the word GO, already had in their mindset that they did not want to carry this out under Asus Warranty.
Asus asked me to perform many tests which I did.
Then Asus asked for Proof of Purchase. Which I provided. They also insisted a letter from the store explaining why the store can't RMA it.
I gave Asus everything they asked for.
Then they said they had to pass this case to higher level management to make a decision, and said it will take a few days. Surprisingly, they "fake" got back to me the same day after I made some noise.
They made a Final decision of not carrying out a replacement under Asus Warranty, and forced me back to the store which already said No.
So now I'm sat with a £260 dead board after nearly 60 days of use.
The board still has another year Warranty remaining, but Asus will not honour it under any circumstances. This is absolutely disgusting. Their warranty is a lie, and has as much value as soiled toilet paper. They will try everything to rip us off.
I already own 5 Asus Rog products, used and new. But I will never buy more from Asus. They have forced me to ditch my favourite brand, and move to MSI or Gigabyte.

Awful awful service
Awful awful service. Continual problems with the laptop, I returned it for a repair with the power adapter after weeks of complaining. Process took 2 weeks to come back then they returned it without the power adapter and refused to take responsibility. The Customer Service is non existent so assume customers aren't a priority. Having seen these reviews I wish I had checked Trustpilot before making my purchase would advise anyone to steer clear - problems will happen but refusing to accept responsibility and the apparent reluctance to resolve the issues is a killer and I won't be an Asus customer again

I had an issue with a ROG strix z590-F and contacted Asus for support. It took me over a month to start the process of returning the product, then another month for information and after 3 months without using my PC, I was informed a refund was being processed. I asked for a replacement and I was suggested by Asus to buy a new motherboard and ask the refund because this would take less time. I did that and now they don't want to refund me and want to charge me to repair the motherboard. I have had loads of working problems, financial problems, personal problems and even mental and emotional problems because of the situation that Asus caused me and they just don't care at all and have zero empathy with the situation, offering me to pay to repair, return the product as it is or they will dispose of it (By that I'm sure they mean refurbish and sell to another person). So do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER buy anything from this company.

Also wish i read some of these reviews. Asus Zenbook OLED screen. Lovely screen but quality is completely unacceptable.
Worked fine for 5 months and then wouldnt charge the battery. Contacted Asus for a return and was efficiently picked up. Took 2 weeks to fix and on return all seemed fine, then after 3 weeks, not charging again.
Contacted Asus and asked what had been fixed and they advised that everything tested fine. Clearly not as it has stopped charging.
Also spotted a screw missing on the rear case so terrible quality control.
Now sending for the 2nd time and fingers crossed it will be fixed.
Please, please stick to mainstream brands with proper support models.

Like many others I wish I'd checked Trustpilot before buying a £1300 laptop from Asus (through Currys). Like many others the laptop died within 18 months. Customer care was awful and to repair it it will cost me more than a new laptop. From other reviews I doubt I'd have faired much better had it still been in the 1yr(pathetic) warranty. Never again Asus, never again. You've lost another customer for life.
Shocking and getting worse.
To be fair the product (when it works) is OK. It's just their customer service is appalling and trying to get, what should be, a warranty repair is very expensive.
Don't expect a reply once they know you're calling to get your money back either. But hey Asus, I’m trusting and ergo, really easy to victimize. But you can only ever do it once and I have a long, long, memory.
Sorry Currys, but you have to bear some of the blame for this debacle as well.
I don't expect I will ever buy another Asus product [or any item containing an Asus part] ever again and if I can get the same or similar from anyone other than Currys, I'm doing that as well.
In the long run Asus, honouring your warranty keeps customers and is therefore better for you and your partners.

Just had an e-mail from Asus asking if I would want to extend the warranty. This must be a joke as they can't honour the original 12 months' product guarantee. Just when I think they couldn't be more squalid, sorry excuse for a company Asus plumbs new depths. Shame I'm unable to give negative stars.

In warranty and telling me out of warranty despite their website telling me I am still in warranty and that I have to pay. Expensive laptop brokewn in less than a year due to part failures

I've owned two Asus laptops and generally always bought Asus parts for pcs, one a GL702 VS and more recently a G15 Strix
Both laptops have broken in the time I've had them.
Fortunately for me the 702 broke down after 11 months and was still just within warranty so asus did begrudgingly repair it, more recently the G15 which is now 14 months old has also broken, dead screen while playing mid game, no amount of fiddling with software has helped, Asus stating its outside of warranty even though its clearly a hardware issue.
It's a sad time for me to be leaving such a negative review but after spending the better part of £3500 on Asus products over the years I'm finally admitting ill never buy another one with the poor customer service and genuinely terrible products I've had the miss fortune to receive.
Stay clear of this company
Stay clear of this company. I ordered a motherboard on express delivery, after 3 days I tried to contact them, there is only a number for technical support and that just hangs up on you, so I sent them an email, no response after 2 days. I finally pressed lots of different numbers on technical support and got to speak to a person. They gave me the number to the store, which is a third party store called laptops uk or something. The Asus store number is 020 8551 6505. They said my order hadn't been despatched and there was an error and we will look into it. I said I would give them 24 hours. Nobody got back to me so I rang back and said, 'just send me one out today and I will keep the order', they said that they could not do this as the price was wrong and they would have to increase the price. I cancelled the whole order and have one arriving today through Amazon. I don't like using Amazon for everything and try to support UK companies, but when they are as poor as this company it just encourages customers to stick to Amazon, at least I know when my item will arrive and can send it back if there is any issues.
Support is a joke
Computer was ok while it lasted for whole 6 months, but support is a joke - third party repairs that take advantage of customers, and loopholes in warranties are absolutely terrible. I wouldn't recommend it.

Well to be fair, the units are fine, the tech and components are all of reasonable quality.
What really causes me frustration is the complete lack of testing before releasing Firmware and the complete lack of support.
I'm using an 18month only (-4 versions of firmware) on this device because the newer version are all problematic with intermittent connection issues. We have had the hardware replaced by reseller twice and still the same issues.
All Asus Support do is advise return and replace as the item must be faulty. They just don't seem to care or have any want or desire to resolve or to even understand the issues and do any form of trouble shooting.
This is the LAST networking product we will ever purchase under the Asus brand. We are also no longer recommending them to customers and instead have partnered with Netgear as they have a far more stable product line than Asus.
It’s a shame, such a shame, but you can't in this day and age have such disrespect for your clients and I'm sorry to say Asus - but your customer service and support are severely lacking in this area. Wave bye bye to the value chain.
