I had my 2017 Mercedes GLC recoded to enable CarPlay and the service was second to none.

I don’t live locally so I opted for the remote coding option and the service was great, I’m not one to write reviews but I was so impressed with the service and the end result I felt compelled to post a review.

My Mercedes Benz main dealer told me in writing that my 2018 E220D Cabriolet is not compatible with Apple Car Play, despite online lists saying that it should be well as the actual car manual setting out just how to do it. I decided to get a third party box for £350 fitted to overcome the problem and found this firm on Google. Within minutes of purchasing I was contacted by WhatsApp asking when I could bring the car in (tomorrow?) and querying whether I really needed the third party box since re-coding should work on my car? Re-coding would give me Car Play over cable but not over Bluetooth. The box would give me both but re-coding would only cost £150. I decided to go for the re-coding and was refunded the difference within minutes. They re-coded my car at their Manchester workshop and I was all done and away in ten minutes. The Car Play display is now excellent. Top marks for fast communication, customer care, friendly service and can-do attitude. UK Auto Retrofits were a real pleasure to deal with.
