« Autovia reconnaît le problème, mais refuse toujours d’apporter une solution »
Merci pour votre réponse, mais je constate qu’Autovia reconnaît le problème sans apporter de solution concrète.
Je rappelle que mon épouse était bien inscrite comme conductrice principale sur la réservation et qu’elle disposait d’une carte de crédit physique valide à son nom. Malgré cela, le véhicule nous a été refusé au comptoir de l’aéroport de Bari.
Après près de trois heures d’attente, nous avons été contraints de payer une seconde location de 516,61 €, en plus des 313,05 € déjà versés pour la réservation initiale.
Vous indiquez que le remboursement doit être traité par l’intermédiaire. Pourtant, le refus de remise du véhicule a eu lieu directement au comptoir Autovia.
Je vous demande donc de prendre vos responsabilités et d’intervenir auprès de CarTrawler afin qu’une solution soit enfin trouvée, notamment concernant le remboursement des 516,61 € de frais supplémentaires.
Je ne recherche pas de simples excuses, mais une réponse précise et une solution concrète à ce préjudice financier.
À ce jour, mon problème reste entier.

If your wife was correctly registered as the main driver and presented a valid physical credit card in her name, this point should be verified against the rental records.
As the booking was made through CarTrawler, any refund must be processed through the broker. For a full review of the case, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@autovia.it with your booking references and supporting documentation.

The staff were very helpful. I arrived eatlier then expected but still they managed to provide a vehicle and l did not waste time waiting. The vehicle was excellent, brand new, comforable and with all latest vey useful gadgets. The QRCode provided to return the vehicle was very helpful because l returned the to the car park with ease no need to watch out for signs and entrances. The vehicle was very econmic as well.

Auto di nuova concezione, quindi si potrebbero approntare schede di pronta informazione o dire al personale di dare qualche spiegazione pratica in più. Veloce la riconsegna del veicolo, troppo veloce la consegna, interminabile la fase burocratica in aeroporto.
Complessivamente esperienza positiva.

I’ve had enough of you—if it helps your cash flow, then just take those 250 euros. It won’t make me any poorer, and it will likely help you out.
In return, I will describe your company as highly dishonest. I will post reviews about you everywhere I possibly can, and for a very long time to come:
AUTOVIA—THE MOST DISHONEST CAR RENTAL COMPANY.
I would warn against the company AUTOVIA. I returned the car over a month ago and still haven't received the refund of my €250 deposit. I returned the vehicle in impeccable condition, yet I still didn't get the deposit back. I also want to warn others that they pressure customers into buying additional, very expensive insurance. It is a bad company.

we are sorry for the concern caused by the delay in releasing your €250 deposit.
If the vehicle was returned without issues, the pre-authorization is normally released after the return checks, but the time needed for the amount to become available again can also depend on the bank or card circuit.
We are also sorry that the additional protection offered at the desk felt too expensive or pressuring. These products are optional and should always be explained clearly before acceptance.
If the amount is still blocked after more than a month, please contact customercare@autovia.it with your booking details so the situation can be checked.
