Debi and Andrew helped me complete the purchase of my new house, and they were exemplary. I was selling my original home via auction so timescales were tight for the purchase of my new home, but they worked around the clock to ge me moved in on time and I can't fault them at all. Their online portal that tracks progress and key milestones also gave me real peace of mind that things were moving forward.

We have just completed on our property and wanted to share our amazing experience with Baker Ashley.
Honestly the best conveyancing solicitor and assistant I've ever dealt with.
We started on a rocky road with another company who left ends untied, luckily for us, our mortgage company didn't deal with them. We transferred the case to Baker Ashley and dealt with Debi (solicitor) and Andrew (assistant) who were both fab! I didn't have much to do with Debi but when I did she was brilliant and very good at explaining matters, tying up loose ends and getting what we needed done. Andrew, we dealt with most, was wonderful, prompt to reply and have us updates almost daily, very polite and very thorough too! I've never dealt with such an efficient conveyancing team, there was no corner unturned, everything done that day or the following day and got our case completed within 24 hours of exchange of contracts.
If in doubt please use these solicitors as they are brilliant. They have an app that they update too with a checklist of what needs to be done and the mark it off as they go along and this is emailed every day something is checked off, showing what is done and checked off. It really helps to know they're dealing with your file behind the scenes. Their price is pretty competitive too.

Clear direction of the conveyancing process and when there were missing clauses in my Leasehold that could affect my mortgage they explained the best options for me.

Problem getting an answer to phone calls (long ring followed by message about leaving phone number to ring back) . . . Especially when an urgent matter. Very frustrating, especially waiting a long time to reply.

I would recommend Baker Ashley. The Hoowla portal made it easy to see the progress of our sale, which was completed in 15 weeks. Emails I sent were replied to quickly and professionally, but wish it had been easier to get through on the phone….
