Balance Box レビュー 

Super varied meals which are at least as good as you might prepare at home, the thing is, you don't have time to make this variety of dishes while working, studying, running a home, etc. So it's a mental health saver, not to say life saver, particularly during assessment, exam or performance weeks when, in my case, I'm on call from before 8am to after 10pm. Even if I can't or don't need to have a balance box every week and occasionally there are ingredients that don't agree with me (raw/spring onion), organising them for what I can see are going to be exceptionally stressful and busy weeks is like having your mum come to take care of everything for a few days. Wonderful! Well Worth it, who else do you place that degree of trust in?

I love the variety I receive in my Balance Boxes! I get to eat a huge range of fruits, veggies, and wholegrains, some that I hadn't tried before! The breakfasts are full of fibre and healthy fats that help keep me going until lunchtime. I don't eat meat so the pescatarian box is perfect for me. I especially love the homemade snack bars - they are delish! Overall I am really pleased with the quality and variety of food delivered by Balance Box. I love the convenience that Balance Box offers, even when I'm rushed off my feet I know there is a healthy and nutritious meal waiting for me. The customer service is second to none, always friendly and professional. Thanks Balance Box for a great service!

I chose Balance Box to help my daughter get back to a healthy way of eating after the lockdowns. She has enjoyed a month of food delivery and has found the food to be fresh and wholesome. She feels much healthier, lighter and with glowing skin.

Brilliant quality and delicious meals, I loved all. Have had to take a break as it is a little pricy so saving my pennies to return. It is a great way to kick start weight loss especially when you are busy home working and schooling!! Every treat counts

So far so good. I selected Balance Box after a friend’s husband looked so good after two months on the lighter meals. I needed a kickstart on a healthier diet and needed to lose lockdown weight. One week in and I’m impressed with the food. Good portions, tasty and healthy and varied. The snacks are great and I have lost 5 pounds in 7 days!! Cannot praise enough. Looking forward to the rest of the month.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Free From box. I wanted a way to eat healthy, gluten free food without spending hours cooking during the week. I was really impressed with the variety of the meals. I would definitely order it again.

The quality of the meals and the portion sizes are perfect. Delivery is flawless and I love the snack bars that say "munch-me" which I do! The real benefit is the balanced meal - I feel full of energy.

Parcel arrived on time. Very tasty meals, appropriate portion sizes for a healthy diet, very easy to take to work.

Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience with Balance Box. I had read an article recommending this as a healthy meal delivery service and I was really excited to try it. I paid for a taster package and I got a pop up saying there was a issue with my payment card. I phoned and the receiption desk was helpful but basically couldn't help me and promised I would get a call back from someone who could. I was worried as I could see the payment as 'pending' in my bank account so I was concerned that I would be charged twice if I ordered another package. I didnt get replies to my follow up email messages so so resorted to Instagram for a response and I got passive aggressive messages from an unknown account that turned out to be the founder! I can't attest to the quality of the food because I never got that far in the process but after the rude messages from the founder when I was just really trying to get some help, I decided to cancel the order completely. I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one who has had bad customer service and it's really disappointing as my partner and I were willing to disregard the reviews and give this a shot.

We tried Balance box before Christmas 2020 and really enjoyed it, the food was diverse and tasty.

As a new years resolution my partner and I agreed to subscribe for 4 weeks as a kick start to the year.

Week 1 - only one of the two boxes arrived - let down by BB, their ordering system didn't recognise that 1 person may order two boxes for the same week despite two separate orders. Sadly we had to wait until Monday mid morning to discover the second box was not coming as the office is shut at weekends, This meant my partner enjoyed BB whilst I had to create food each night for 1☹

Week 3 - sadly for BB we had a little snow and the delivery company (DPD) were unable to deliver and understandably binned the food, sadly we had to wait until Monday mid morning to discover this as the office is shut at weekends, This meant my partner and I suddenl had to sort food for the week ☹

Week 5 - Despite cancelling by talking to BB twice in January, we were billed for a another month, again BB can't cope with 2 subscriptions in one name and only cancelled 1.

The food is truly delicious, but it is let done so badly by poor customer service and systems. What we planned as a fun way to check our eating habits as a couple became a mess where we suddenly had to arrange our own meals at short notice.

One piece of advice I would offer BB is ensure emails and calls can be responded to on a weekend so issues can be dealt with straight away.

BB always refunded their error straightaway in all cases, but were not very proactive about any communication.

Thank you so much for the great experience and amazing food ! There was a good variety food and you can tell it’s made with fresh ingredients. All the calories are worked out for you and it takes all the stress out of having to plan your meals especially when trying to be healthy. There was actually a lot of food and I didn’t once feel hungry and I still had snacks left over ! It’s been a real life saver especially during this pandemic.

I'd love to comment on the great food. Unfortunately when the food is delivered between 2200 and 0600 (w/e M25 only), without a text/email to confirm, there is a good chance that it goes missing. Many of us have had this problem, particularly in lockdown (yes, I know it's 'my risk'). When I raised an issue I was told that feedback was welcome -- but apparently not acted upon, as others have said the same. Better to find a service that delivers during normal business hours.

I’d read various articles on full menu ready meal suppliers and Balance Box seemed quite reasonable so I gave them a try.

My first impressions were not great. The packaging to start - there’s so much of it! Inside the big box, there is a huge heavy duty, silver zipped cool bag. Inside that four large ice packs. Both of these could be reused many times, yet they are to be disposed of. There HAS to be a way of sending these with recyclable packaging. Each meal is in a sealed plastic microwaveable pot. The first meal, Salmon Tandoori with potatoes and cauliflower was disappointing. Bad aircraft meal would sum it up. The new potatoes were brown and mushy, the salmon passable but overall was bland.

Breakfast next day was rye bread with almond butter and a banana. This was fine, but how wrong can you get a few slices of rye bread. Lunch a feta salad. This was ok but somewhat bland. Dinner a chicken, pepper casserole. Was quite fresh tasting but also rather bland. I have 6 more days to go but so far I can honestly say I am unimpressed

Expensive, bland food and wasteful packaging. I won’t be repeating my order.

Excellent telephone support from Alesha and Roxanne. Alesha was super helpful when I queried being charged in June when still due 4 boxes and refunded me and fixed the system which was showing weird and multiple deliveries.

Roxanne was really helpful and efficient today allowing me to have a box delivered this Friday then 3 more starting on Friday 28th August and advised ending my subscription today (to avoid being charged) and renewing it again in September.

Both of these ladies were excellent in their professional care, efficient fixing of technical issues and very polite and helpful. I really appreciated their help and asked if I could provide feedback as, I am aware of how irritating computer systems can be, both ladies epitomise good quality service which as a customer I feel deserves praise and recognition. Thank you.

Also, wanted to say my feedback form after each week’s delivery is a pleasure to complete as the food is excellent, the delivery service, price and packaging. I am so grateful for this wonderful company, highly talented staff and its flexibility offered to customers.

I have just finished three day course of Free From Balance Box over the bank holiday, and did not have to think about shopping or cooking. So for three days I opened my fridge to a delicious meal, not just ready prepared but thoughtfully balanced and tasty. My favourite was the middle evening meal of curried cauliflower and halloumi, only just pipping each lunch of a different salad. It showed me how fresh healthy meals can be so easy and that a top delivery service is worth it. The portions have lasted me an extra day, and I have shared with family (only a bit as it was so good). I am dreaming of the next time already.

I purchased the 3 day Classic 1800 Box and was delighted with the exceptional service, packaging and quality.
Delivery was prompt, each item was clearly and concisely labelled, there was a menu included containing heating instructions, snack info and the full list of ingredients.
Most important, the diverse recipes contained quality ingredients and were full of flavour. You can tell that a lot of love has gone into the preparation.
The Breakfast options ranged from fruit Birchers to smoked salmon & egg combo. Lunches ranged from smoked trout to a Mexican themed salad. The Dinners (which were my favourite) ranged from Miso Cod to chicken curry to spiced patties.
If you want a 5* experience, then this is the service for you.

My 3 day meal plan box of the Classic weightloss menu arrived before i got up early on Friday. Beautifully packed and presented breakfast, lunch and dinner with a really handy menu detailing all of the dishes, ingredients and heating instructions along with snacks, yummy bars, nuts and fruits. Spicy lentil and cod stew and middle eastern vegetable salad were my favourites. Highly reccomend this company, everything was so fresh and tasty!

Healthy, tasty and filling food in a super convenient package! I originally got this post New Year's to kick start my health/weight New Year goals but have stayed with it these past few months. The clue's in the name, but the menu is truly very 'balanced' and the ingredients are top quality. The customer support is very good as well - there's always a real person to call with any questions/issues. The menu can get a bit repetitive if you stay on it for more than a month, but all the meals are very nice and I now have a number of 'favourites' to look forward to.
