First I was charged for something I didn't order! I say something, because it gave no description! To the tune of $179! I told my fraud department at my bank not to pay them!
Secondly, the underwear don't work as well as the assurance, I get from Walmart for $23 (for 54 pair)! The first night they leaked out of the right leg while sleeping on my side (which is the only way I am able to sleep!
itchy
I ordered the overnight brief from Amazon and tried them while wearing my purewick. I woke up in the middle of the night with a itchy butt. It quickly got worse to the point where it was burning. Once I took them off and it stopped.
Shady practice business
I signed up for a free sample when i kept seeing their ad. Did not approve subscription and didn't accept it upon checking out. It charged my card anyway. I tried to cancel but it wouldnt let me. I called my card company for a chargeback and to block any future payments. I was alerted on my phone by shop app informing me I had a upcoming package and it showed this business and the product they shipped. I logged onto my card account and saw they charged me so I called the card company right away to try and block this payment and reported unauthorized charge and told them the situation. I also tried to cancel on their website, found out i had an account on there and couldn't cancel all subscriptions. So without my knowledge, an account was created.
I was able to contact them the following day via chat. Told me they couldn't cancel since order had been shipped. They said I had 14 days to cancel but they shipped out less than 14 days when I recieved sample on the 22nd. They also said the subscription turns on automatically after sample ships out. I was never informed this.
As of June 2nd, I got my refund. I will not do any future business with thrm due to their shady practice. I looked them up and saw they have had many complaints against them and chargebacks. How they stay in business is beyond me.
And they don't accept refuse delivery for a refund so this is how shady they are. Trying to steal money and they want you to pay return shipping so hence why they do not accept refuse delivery, shady.

Scammmmmm. Nothing in life is free. Shipped a full order right after trial order without notifying by email.
It was very hard getting subscription cancelled.
Dishonest business
I placed a 30-day trial order on May 6, with the following terms:
"You may cancel your subscription in any given month by emailing us at least 3 business days prior to your next subscription month."
However, on the morning of May 20th, I noticed a charge of $75 on my card, I called immediately to cancel my subscription, but the rep told me I can only cancel future orders, but this one is "already on the way", so I would have to go through their RMA process and pay $10 return shipping to get a refund.
I argued that the trial period is 30 days, she said no, it is only 14 days. I said even so, today is the 14th day, it should still be ok, but then she changed to saying I would have to call by the 13th day. Long story short, they would not accept my cancelation request as it is "already on the way", when in fact, I saw the Fed Ex tracking, they didn't even create the shipping label until later that day.
This company is not honest, they kept changing their policies just to get you hooked.
Is it really worth it? and furthermore, does the product work?
I came in on the free trial. I'll be honest, we got started on the wrong foot right away. They sent me an invoice that showed (5) packs overnight briefs for $130 minus discount of $130 dollars plus $2.99 shipping.....I felt like an elderly person would be confused by that and I told them so. You get two briefs....that's all. Then, they asked me to review the product actually before I got it. Beyond that, no way I could review it with just two briefs. So i placed an order. I got premium overnight plus, sensitive overnight, grey premium maximum plus, booster pads & no rinse cleansing spray. All purchased in the same XL size. I also purchased their bladder support supplements. I've now used the product for a full month with one major 4 hour event in the middle of that of which I was counting heavily on the products to work. I felt like trying several different styles would help me figure out what worked best for me. I don't think you can go into incontinence issues without taking some time to see what works best individually. I don't think there is an exact match for everyone. You have to find the right combination of products for yourself. My problems: each style brief fit (or didn't fit) differently even though they were the same size and I wasn't expecting that. I didn't like the booster pads at all. They sagged heavy between my legs. I liked the cleansing spray but the delivery of it is useless. I wanted it primarily for when I have to use a public restroom, I can access a shower or sink at home easily but out to dinner with friends is something else. The pump does not spray upside down which would really be a necessity for incontinence use. So that's just a needed improvement on the manufacturer's part.
I like the product. It's definitely more absorbent than your average "over the counter" brief. I did take a new brief, tear it open, and add liquid pretty quickly to see if there was any spill over. 5 cups before it started spilling. Of course, if you are wearing that, it's going to leak before 5 cups but I bet it makes it at least 4 cups of liquid which gives you some time to get to the restroom. The overnight style briefs, both overnight plus and sensitive are the ones that ran small. The way the sensitive briefs are made makes them extremely comfortable and not as "bunchy" as other briefs. Overall, I will probably go with the colored premium maximum plus. They fit the best all around. I found that using a regular assurance or depends male guard instead of the booster pad works best for me.
For my 4 hour event, I wore 2 of the grey premium maximum plus briefs and a male guard as a booster. That enabled me to not have to completely change in the public venue. I simply threw away the male guard and could remove the inner brief leaving the outer brief in place. Then I would add a new guard to the new brief. The 2 briefs together and the male guard were not as thick as one overnight brief so it worked.
I gave it 3 stars because I think the size issue is important. These things are expensive and the last thing I needed was to have two packages that didn't fit. That needs to be addressed by the company and honestly, it may only apply to us bigger girls. No one wants to say that outloud but the truth of the matter is we have a hard time finding things that fit properly anyway. I also feel like the spray should accomodate any angle necessary.
Yes its worth it if you need a dedicated place to count on for supplies. I'll also say its up to you to monitor your account. I've had to get in touch with them twice over incorrect charges and billing but they have fixed it with a quickness. The last time I actually emailed them and asked that they just fix the problem without bothering me with a phone call and they did that as well so....Not problem free but may be a way to manage incontinence problems at a better cost.
Bad company for people with memory and cognitive issues
Unlike most modern companies, Because Market has an automatic opt-out subscription applied if you purchase a subscription. There’s no warning email, and the website requires users to call or email if they want to cancel an upcoming shipment.
I saw the notice at 5 AM this morning that I have an automatically renewing subscription, and I have $80 worth of product on the way. Sent an email I called to cancel future subscriptions, and to cancel this current order. It’s too late, and also my options to return it are to pay $10 for a return shipping label, or to pay out of pocket for the shipping costs.
I do not trust that my subscription has been canceled, because I just received an email saying my order has been skipped until next month. At this point, I feel like my main option is to label the purchase as spam and ask my bank to block any payment requests from Because Market.

SCAM
SCAM! Buyer beware. After shipping promotional items, I emailed and requested to cancel on 04/17/2025. They billed my card almost $180 today and said they can’t cancel this shipment. I am now disputing charge with my bank.

Just experienced a terrible scam by Because! Really a complete scam! Got an email from "Because" that they are preparing a "next shipment" for huge order at 74.00 ! I never subscribed for a monthly shipment, and certainly cannot afford $74 a month for huge number of product. I initially paid a small amount for their "Trial" package, and ordered a regular amount after that. I NEVER SUBSCRIBED !! I tried to cancel the "subscripton" and they make it nearly impossible. My next task is to send this scam to our state Attorney General and also to Consumer Affairs.

Advertised "Starter Kit"
I got the advertised "Starter Kit" and canceled the subscription that their website forces you to sign up to. At least I thought I had, the whole process is confusing.
To my surprise I got this huge box filled with their products, I just opened the box I didn't go through it.
When I searched my email I found one that said that my order had been shipped ( there was no order number just the bill for $184.00!)
I called as soon as I was able to talk with a Live representative.
After repeatedly requesting a representative I finally got a living human.
I was told that I would have to pay for the shipping but they could send me a prepaid shipping label But they couldn't send it to my email right now because they were in the midst of a system update.
Was I both surprised and annoyed when I was told that the representative didn't know how long it would be and that the update had been ongoing for weeks!
I got the refund code from them with assurance that the 30 return period wouldn't apply until I got the return label. Yet they are able to take people's money and send orders!
My confidence in this company is Zero, I live on a fixed income, $184.00
is a lot of money for me.
I need to get my money back so my bank won't charge overdraft fees, more money I can't afford to lose.
This is a total scam
This is a total scam. They send you a trial and then they ship you whatever was in the trial in an enormous quantity even though you only requested one thing. Then they also add overnight shipping to it so the bill is huge. Do not buy from them

Thank you for your reply to my complaint and since you asked how you can improve, here is my suggestion: It is great that you offer a trial pack of your product, but please don't automatically sign people up for a subscription. How do we know if we want to subscribe if we haven't yet tried the product? Also, it shouldn't be so difficult to cancel a subscription. There should be a link on your website to cancel, customers shouldn't have to call the company or cancel via chat on your website.
Top notch Company
I began purchasing Because Market products for my mom, including premium overnight underwear and no-rinse cleaning cloths. As someone living with dementia, she depended on quality care and products to enhance her quality of life. After trying various brands, I can confidently say that Because Market products are unmatched in quality.
Unfortunately, my mom recently passed away after a week in hospice care, and I no longer needed the products. However, I had forgotten to cancel her subscription, and a new order was shipped to her home—a large order worth hundreds of dollars that had already been paid for.
Thanks to the exceptional understanding and compassion of your customer service team, I could return the unopened products at no cost during this difficult time of transition. Your superior products and excellent customer service have left a lasting impression.

Hello Because,
I am very disappointed in the 3 packages of 24 count tabbed briefs (size S/M) that I have received. I ordered the S/M size based on your "what's my size" help tab on your website. The orders are for my wife who is 5'7", 130 lbs, 28" waist and wears size 6 pants. This sizing is directly in line with what you state on your website should be for size S/M. The product we received are way too tight and don't fit at all. I asked your customer help line if he would send a size L to replace the S/M that does not fit but he told me he cannot do that. Instead of making it right, he tried to sell me more products.
As a result of the transaction and unsatisfactory attempt to remedy it along with the shipping cost of $7.99 X 3 (couldn't get the shipments to stop) I have cancelled my account

Beware of paying for samples
I requested samples from this company which required a small payment for the samples. I paid with Paypal. I did not like the sample. Unknown to me, this sample signed me up for a subscription delivery of more of their products monthly (more product than I ever use in a month). Beware asking for samples that you have to pay for! After much deliberation on line they did cancel the subscription and I'm hoping to get a refund of the $68.80 they charged me. I think it's a scam--beware.

Terrible company
Terrible company. The adult diapers that absorb 37% more than others--so they say-- are pure garbage. My poor mother was soaked in urine when she wore them overnight. She normally uses the Depends max. They are way thicker and absorbent than the Because junk.
Secondly, this company DOES NOT TELL YOU when you order their free sample that you are now on a subscription.
When you realize that (thank goodness I looked at my email), they make it impossible to cancel. Can you go to the website and cancel? Nope. You have to CALL them!!!!!!!!!!!!! And judging from other reviews here, not what you want to do.
I've emailed them to cancel and what they do is NOT REPLY to your email.
Bet we are suddenly going to see dozens of 5-star reviews as they get AI to write reviews for them.

Premium Maximum Plus Underwear for Men leak and the seams come apart easily. When I called I found out I had two subscriptions. I didn't knowingly sign up for. It was difficult to cancel the subscriptions, because the individual kept on with sales pitches.

Horrible customer services and shady practices. Who charges you for a full month of a product before you even get the sample pack you ordered? And without warning? Then when you want to get a refund they take you through a bunch of mess. Absolutely horrible. And then every email received or rep I've spoken to was rude and condescending. Absolutely will not be using this service again and will be spreading the word on all platforms that I have.
