Impeccable customer service

Impeccable customer service. For someone who isn’t tech savvy what so ever, they gave me easy, step by step instructions to set my sons watch up. Highly recommend !!!

I made a mistake while registering the…

I made a mistake while registering the device. There were instructions on the website to fix it. However, I didn't want to take a chance. Astral communicated with me suo moto as the plan remained unactivated. He helped fix it - was with me from start to finish- and sought confirmation that everything was working. This is an example of awesome customer service. I would highly recommend the product/ service.

Australian parents need to know about BetterRoaming!

BetterRoaming is the only service provider in Australia that allows parents to set up an Apple Watch for a child without them requiring a mobile phone. More parents need to know this! Set up with BetterRoaming was quick, easy and instant - all done in a few minutes on Christmas Day! We live in a rural area and coverage is comparable to the ‘big’ phone companies. At only $99 for 12 months, we HIGHLY recommend other Australian parents use BetterRoaming. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best telco customer service EVER

I was very surprised when BetterRoaming contacted ME! They could see I was having issues installing a new plan on my child's watch. The person I was emailing was very helpful and informative. I cannot fault their customer service.

Astral was awesome!

Astral was so patient with getting my watch connected. He evens calls back when the call dropped out. He made sure all issues were sorted before hanging up.

Astral went above and beyond to help me resolve my issue, he guided me step by step, and was very patient and kind. His customer service was top notch and I highly recommend this service you don’t find good old customer service like this anymore thanks Astral

Astral was brilliant he made sure to…

Astral was brilliant he made sure to contact me within my preferred timeframes. Trouble shooting the issues, which were figured out to be mine by entering incorrect numbers. Regardless of fault he made sure that I finished the phone call with a set up watch data connection while also ensuring I only finished with one singular service.

Unbelievable Tech support

In all my life, I’ve never had such a proactive support from a tech company. Astral contacted me to ask if I needed assistance as he noted I had not yet installed my Better Roaming plan after a week of purchasing. Indeed I did need help, and Astral rang promptly to patiently and clearly explain the issue and walk me through it. The issue was fixed and he made several follow ups to make sure was all ok.
I am still in disbelief a telco would make such attempts to support such a small user with onboarding. Thanks Astral for the incredible initiative and patience.

Apple watch SE 3 cellular plus GPS/better roaming

The issue you’re referring to only affects the latest Apple Watch models released last September (Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3). All other Apple Watch models continue to work as expected.

Our team is actively working on a solution, and we expect this issue to be fully resolved within this year. However, we’re unable to share a more precise date at this stage.

Bad customer services

It is a nightmare to contact BetterRoaming to resolve an issue! They have an Australian Phone number but no one ever picks up the call. Online request for support still waiting for support after nearly a day after submission…very frustrating

Easy and affordable

Just an easy , chapter alternative to adding an Apple
Watch for your child to your account . Way more expensive with a provider .

Apple Watch Plan for Kids - Super!

I was looking for a solution to a way of keeping in touch with my child who is entering high school this year. I didn't want to give my child a phone so decided to give him an Apple Watch with a data plan and "screen time" setup that allows me limit his "online exposure". None of the telcos in Australia had suitable "standalone" apple watch plans so ended up using Better Roaming. Onboarding was easy-as! However, I had some issues adding the plan to the watch (because I use Telstra on my phone) and therefore I put off adding the Better Roaming plan to my sons watch. Astral from Better Roaming noticed I had not activated the recently purchased plan and reached out to me to sort out the issue. Issue was sorted in minutes with a workaround and voila the Apple Watch works a treat! I can't be happier with the service so far!
