It is with much surprise that I can confirm eventual receipt of my withdrawal, after many days (27, in fact), e-mails and reviews.
As a result, I felt obliged to update my review to reflect that fact.
I was always confident that I would be vindicated as I knew that I hadn't done anything wrong, wasn't a money launderer and could provide the documents that were requested of me.
One thing I will say is that I was advised not to take my complaint to eCOGRA until four weeks had passed because, supposedly, the maximum amount of time a bookmaker/online casino can withhold payment for no specified reason is 28 days.
Had I escalated my complaint to eCOGRA before that time had elapsed, I believe it would have actually taken me much longer to receive the funds due to my case being considered 'open.'
Given that my withdrawal was processed almost exactly four weeks after my initial request, there appears to be some substance to this theory.
Although I've made light of the sheer ridiculousness of my situation in my reviews, I would like to place on record the helplessness I originally felt prior to speaking to a legal expert about my situation.
I don't think it should be underestimated how stressful the waiting period can be, and this is accentuated by an awful lack of communication and clarify from BGO.
Nonetheless, I have now received my cash - which was all I really care about - but I wouldn't consider using BGO or its sister companies in a million years.
Why does BGO have such complicated bonus offers. more transparancy please and if there were more stars t award for the agent who had the task of explaining the whole thing to me I would have given them. friendly informative and professional. thank you.
