Staff excellent, very friendly and helpful. My only issue was that the buses only came every hour and the red line doesn't always meet the green line without a long wait.

Great way of seeing Abu Dhabi, interesting commentary and chilled water. Only suggestion - at Grand Mosque warn your passengers to come out the front not the back, or they won't find the bus stop. The mosque is confusing to get around!!!

We bought deluxe package. The tour was very good and included a lot of other free tours. Staff are extremely helpful. I can't thank them enough for their help and support. I would highly recommend the tour. Very good value for money.

The buses showed up on time based on the advertised schedule. Driving speed was moderate. The pre-recorded audio was quite informative. Bus was comfortable and the staff were nice and helpful; they also had cold water available for refreshment. Slight snag: I had bought a family ticket instead of 2 adults (children were below five) but the bus staff informed me only after he had "verified" the ticket, and offered no compensation. However, I did get some compensation when I took it up with the office. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a good way to explore the city.

We paid for the Hop-on + Hop-off but we waisted money. First of all, excursions were not respected (we were expected to make the dhow cruise, but it was under maintenance and so we were told that we made a yacht tour). We were excited about the idea but in the end it was not a yacht and it made a 60 min tour across a site under construction. But it was too slow and I think we made a pair of km in total.
When we finished this, we took the bus but driver told us that it was the last stop, that he had to went away, and to continue with the tour we had to take a taxi until next stop/point of interest. And then at next stop there would be another bus who would take us back home. But we did not trust and got back by taxi.
We made the 1 day tour in Abu Dhabi, and before it we thought to make the 7 days tour in Dubai, but after this experience we decided not to do it anymore. And with a lot less money we bought a 7 days ticket with the metro+tram and visited ALL the city!
The only positive thing was the free fresh water on buses.

Gute Idee, aber leider nicht so gut umgesetzt wie in anderen Städten wie beispielsweise Dubai. Die Zeiten sind leider schlecht gewählt, sodass man häufig lange Wartezeiten zwischen den einzelnen Bussen hat und es vor allem im Sommer sehr unangenehm ist bei 40 Grad. Positiv ist jedoch, dass man teilweise die Möglichkeit hat in einem anderen Bus die Zeit zu überbrücken und so nicht in der Sonne warten muss. Zudem sind gekühlte Wasserflaschen sehr gut bei den Gästen angekommen. Leider wurde nicht sehr viel über die Stadt Abu Dhabi oder über die Einwohner erzählt, sodass man nicht sonderlich viel über Land und Leute erfahren hat.
Die Mitarbeiter hingegen sind sehr freundlich und bemüht.
Letztlich kann man sagen, dass die Big Bus Touren eine tolle Sache sind und wenn sie so wie in anderen Städten umgesetzt werden, auch eine gute Möglichkeit für Touristen sind, um das Emirat bzw. die Stadt Abu Dhabi kennen zu lernen.

Brilliant service, clean and modern buses. Nice ice water on board and friendly staff. Commentary was great and informative. Value for money.

Staff very,very helpful not just about the tours but overall about sites visited.Whilst I was in Abu Dhabi temperatures were very high and staff went out of there way to enable us to be comfortable,making my visit enjoyable.I would without a doubt use big bus again were ever possible & your staff are first class.

Overpriced for what you get.
We bought the 7 day pass on the Net. No times on website so we got to stop (2) and found from the hotel that we had just missed the bus. We waited 1 hour for next one.
We were given earphones. The commentary is very sanitised and its as if written by a government official. There is no juicy bits that you would hear on a London bus tour from history. There is a hard sell on the different government buildings.
Our tickets were checked on stop 3 by a supervisor. We were not told anything about the cruise outing being stopped and a new one on Yes marina. We got off at stop 4 to see Mosque. On Bus again at stop 5 we realised you need to change at stop 4 to get on to the green tour for Ferrai World. You cannot get a bus the revere way. So you either go all the way around ( 2 hours) or catch a taxi. At stop 5 the supervisor at the stop was very helpful and told us the previous supervisor seeing our web voucher and issuing the tickets should have talked us through the various aspects.
She went on to explain all the various free add on extra tours and timings.

We finished the tour.
@ days later on a Friday we decided to go on the bus and stop at stop 4- The Mosque and catch a taxi to Ferrari world as we are half way there.
We arrive at the Mosque but stopped outside . We thought the next stop would be at the mosque only to find the bus going away. Asking the driver he said on Friday the mosque is shut. We could only get off at stop 5 ( near the city again) having wasted 45 minutes on the bus to catch a taxi from here. Again NO MENTION on the printed timetable that shows all the stops.

Really need to get act together.

Way overpriced for what you get. I took the 24h tour of Abu Dhabi, hoping to get on the Dhow cruise but was never told this is not running. Instead they offered one on Yas but that is impossible to do within the timeframe of the red route of the city. Sat on the bus for about two hours and the comments are nice and all but definitely not worth 60 dollars. Waste of money, taxis are cheaper!

We just finished the Abu Dhabi tour and it's really the best and wisest thing to do if you are here in summer. You not only get to see the city but also know all about it in this tour as the commentary is very comprehensive.

I had a little issue though before I started the journey with regards to the tickets that I purchased but this was quickly addressed and resolved. Each main stop has a Big Bus staff who is friendly, knowledgeable and ever ready to answer your questions.

Keep up the good work. I hope to get the same quality service in my 2 other destinations which will be coming up soon ;-)

excursion to Al Ain. The cruise on boat was a very quiet moment.

Had a great time all staff we encountered could not have been more helpful they were very polite helped us with all we needed being in the older age ranch went to great lengths to make sure we were hooked up to wifi would travel on you buses anywhere I found them keep up the good work

I don'f know, that the night tour is only in friday. So I pay the night tour without Service, because my stay finish on friday

Poor and inadequate commentary needs more regular updates and should describe buildings and architecture. Headphone jacks often not working. Last departure is too early and price is too high by international standards.

A fantastic way to see Abu Dhabi, frequent service allows time to get off and visit places, my only criticism is that not all the stops are marked with "big bus" signs so it can be confusing about where to stand and wait, especially stop 10 near the hotel we were staying in, but a fantastic tour.

Booked online before the visit. Exchanged the voucher on the bus. Great drivers and good routes through the attractions of Abu Dhabi. Buses every 30 minutes. Free bottles of water.
