Causing undue stress and constant mistakes no upsides to them as of yet.
Edit: Still no reply to any of my emails. Will update if I ever receive one.
No surprise they can't find their own reference number with how everything else has been handled.
Genuinely frustrating.
Mid way through settlement with the third party, I get an email from Bike Assist saying
"The third party is denying involvement in the incident.
Can you confirm any details that were swapped after the incident to help us confirm they were involved."
This caused absolute uproar with me and my injury solicitors and we could not get through to speak to anyone about it.
Eventually we got a response via email
"It would seem that an email from a different insurer has been added to the claim. This was in error."
Fast forward 2 months and now I have received an email telling me to pay back the payment given to me by the third party as I claimed this on my own insurance. I have not received any payment from the third party as we have not yet settled fully, this was claimed on my own insurance due to having brand new replacement cover on my policy and the third party evaluated my 5 month old bike at less than half the market value and I was basically told to accept the poor offer and hope the market price dispute settles in my favour (which I would be out thousands of pounds if it didn't) or claim it on my own insurance on the new replacement policy and then claim the excess back at a later time.
Obviously I chose to claim it on my insurance and we fully rejected the third parties poor pay out offer and never received any pay-out from them. So how do I owe them money?
Here we are again, not being able to get through to speak to anyone and no replies to our emails.
Massive amount of unnecessary stress caused to me, increased by not being able to talk to anyone.

Mine was a story of three parts
Mine was a story of three parts. It started off well with a blip in the middle due to not looking at the detail of my claim, then finished on a high, when the mistake was sorted out. My claim handler at the end was Victor Philips who spotted the mistake and sorted it within a matter of weeks. The injury part is still on going but the bike settlement was sorted due to Victor doing a fine job.

2 years ago, I had accident and I was fighting for my injuries claim and there was 2 solicitors got changed and 3rd one which is KAROLINA MALLETT took my case 6 months ago and she handed it very well, I really appreciate her work on that case, I am glad I was with Bike Assist legal, Thank you.

Christopher Sutton from Bike Assist Legal has been great to deal with from start to finish. I have been dealing with the main insurer, and believe me, the service I have received from them hasn't been good. Speaking to Christopher from Bike Assist, and his willingness to help through the next part of the process, which has nothing to do with his department, you just don't get that level of customer service any more.

The whole process so far has been really slick. After my accident they organised a loan bike, thie pick up of my old bike. It was written off and I had the money in my bank in about a month and I had the loan vehicle the entire time. I am still waiting to hear back from Minster Law about the injury compensation, but it is expected that this side of the claim would take longer.
