Recommend for help with immigration matters
I went to Emma Cohen for help with an immigration matter. She was extremely professional and knowledgable and provided comprehensive advice very quickly. Would really recommend Bindmans and Emma for any immigration matters.

Please avoid their family law dept
I had the misfortune to have them as my lawyers for the most difficult phase of my life and they were destructive, to say the least, from partner to trainee level. I would never ever recommend them to anyone who is going through family court. They have made so many fatal mistakes that have impacted our lives life indefinitely. Just a few examples: overcharges, failure to notify me for vital court dates, failure to notify me on time about correspondence with the other side, and above all provided inaccurate and conflicting advice on vital issues. They do not have the seriousness nor are aware of the responsibility or accountability they have towards the lives of their clients. They are just after your money and nothing else. I wish I had someone to warn me when i made the fatal mistake of taking them on as my solicitors. If I could give them no stars I would.
