Ruth Harris and her team saved my life. Ruth was my defence solicitor when I arrested and subsequently was charged with a criminal offence based on an untrue allegation. It was an extremely horrific time in my life that lasted 4 years. From the outset I was instantly impressed by Ruth’s honesty, knowledge and ability to rationalise scenarios and delegate tasks to her team that were extremely time consuming whilst always keeping me informed at a personal level that I honestly don’t think could be replicated by any other lawyer. She gave me sound advice at all times including advice on who best would represent me at trial from Council and her compassionate approach to my circumstances at all times throughout this 4 year period was nothing short of extraordinary. Her ability to think outside of the box, examine evidence down to the final letter and make recommendations about instructing expert witnesses no doubt has seen me vindicated and acquitted by the criminal justice system despite the terrible delays that are plaguing an otherwise broken system. She is one in a million and I would not take a millisecond to recommend her to anyone who wants to have the best legal representation on their side in the United Kingdom. Not having been through anything like what I'd experienced before and not knowing what could be done at a time in my life when I thought nothing could be done.

I eventually, with alot of pushing from my family reached out to hja solicitors, via Cambridge University Law Clinic and put this part of my life in their hands.

I'll have to admit from the start they did everything right and I would personally recommend their services in pretty much any matter after the struggle I had.

The way they solved the case with their hard work behind the scenes and then only asking questions that mattered so they could continue forwards is in my mind just the tip of the iceberg.

HJA and my Case Worker, Asli, were brilliant and dealt with my case in a timely, easy to understand and efficient way. After sustaining a traumatic injury, they were sympathetic and knowledgeable, which made the whole process simple and effective, without causing me further undue stress and administration.

I was navigated through the process smoothly and seamlessly. I do not live in the UK so really had no idea of the processes following a personal injury claim. It took a while for a settlement and sometimes it was challenging because access to medical specialists is different in the UK and Canada but when I could not access specialists to provide reports, HJA assisted. Taylor in particular was very helpful and effective in closing this case and securing a satisfactory settlement.
