I left a review about two months ago, so I can’t post another one on Google account, but I just wanted to say how much I continue to enjoy visiting this place. The staff are always passionate about their work, and their knowledge of the products really shines through. Without hesitation, it’s another 5-star experience.

They’re generous with samples and testers, and everything I’ve bought has been delicious. My family in Norway love it when I bring them teas and matchas from Bird & Blend – they always comment on how natural and fresh the flavours are, unlike more artificial-tasting competitors. For me, it’s great value for such high quality.

What makes each visit even better is the staff. They’re always friendly and happy to chat, which makes the experience feel more personal. I especially want to mention Dan – he remembered me from a previous visit, and with my background in hospitality and sales, I can say with confidence that his product knowledge and people skills are outstanding. He’s a real asset to your team and it’s always a pleasure to be served by him.

The matcha was unsweetened and ceremonial grade, exactly how I love it! No fuss, just good!:)

The delivery times are inaccurate and abysmal, I have been waiting way longer than the estimated delivery time and have still not recent my order. I ordered the subscription service and you can’t track your order for some reason. I paid 3.95 for delivery, my order should have arrived promptly. I don’t know why they use Royal Mail as it’s the worse delivery service. I was very excited for my tea, but after this I wouldn’t consider resubscribing, the tea won’t even come on time monthly anyway! You would probably run out, and have to wait for the next shipment and get something else in the meantime! Really disappointed. Still no idea when it’s arriving.

We visited the Nottingham shop for the first time today & the staff there could not have been more helpful. Carmen in particular was extremely patient with me, as I didn't really know what I wanted. She worked through my options with me & found a tea I love. We will be returning in the future.

I ordered 50g of the Birthday Cake loose rooibos tea as I’ve stopped eating sugar and hoped this would help as a distraction. The tea is just ok and has a twang of vanilla/cake but in a blind test I wouldn’t have guessed it.
On reflection, paying almost £12 for 50g of tea with £3.95 postage, is an expensive purchase…especially as the size was a small letter size envelope. I placed my order on a Monday and received it on Saturday so seemingly, not even a first class delivery.
I won’t be a repeat customer.

I emailed B&B customer support about an order that hadn't arrived, and Daisy was extremely helpful, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with! She was immediately in contact with the Royal Mail, and my package was delivered the next day. Thank you so much Daisy for your kindness and support :D

We went into the Exeter branch today,and couldn’t have wished for a most pleasant and help fall Mitchell.
He explained everything,into tea tastings,about matcha.

Walked into the store feeling overwhelmed with all the options, a staff member helped us out and she talked us through the different things they have and flavours and guided us through it, it’s a shame I don’t know her name but she was absolutely lovely! And they were all so nice and welcoming

I could spend a lot of money! I’ve had to show a great deal of restraint, the flavours are amazing!

I've just left the Brighton Store and i just want to say it is always an enjoyable experience. I tried my first matcha and the person helping was so lovely and helpful and recommended i go for the blueberry muffin and gosh is it delicious! I love coming into such a welcoming atmosphere, the manager literally threw over his shoulder 'if you don't like it we'll give you a different drink' which honestly i loved - not needed but the care was there. Its trans pride today in Brighton and its so lovely seeing another local business supporting the community. Honestly 10/10 always leave with a smile on my face.

Excellent tea however poor subscription service - no email reminders sent and no ability to alter the type of subscription only to manually amend the date and put a note in your own phone- very poor compared to what other companies offer and use, money needs to be invested in the subscription service

I recently bought the tasting box for a friend and absolutely loved it. Great customer service and she loved the personalised message from the company!

As a first time customer, I was honestly like a kid in a sweet shop when I saw all the different blends of tea. Was really excited to make a purchase and whittle my basket down to a couple, and when I wanted them all, I just placed my order!

I have fallen in love with Worthing’s Original, it’s my favourite blend by far!

There were 1 or 2 which I tried to get on with, but my taste buds didn’t allow me to and I popped them into my cupboard and moved on to the next blend.

Then I had a message asking me what I thought and send in a quick message back.

I was really pleasantly surprised when the 1 I just couldn’t fall in love with could be swapped for my favourite!

A couple of emails back and forth with the wonderful customer service rep Katie (and what an awesome name for someone who works in the tea industry!) and she has arranged for me to swap them! How good is that when you buy online?!

The customer service is amazing and I just wanted to give you guys and Katie a little shout out! You certainly have made me very happy and I will certainly be a repeat customer following on from the lovely teas and most importantly to me, the amazing customer service!

Disappointing at first but gotten a resolution - I got a sample of Dozy girl and decided to invest in more and a couple of other flavors.

Birthday Cake had glowing reviews, and smelled nicer than just roibos, but when I drank it, it tasted only like roibos, no enhanced flavors.

I tried posting a review and they said I’d get a verification email, never arrived and they didn’t post my review

I also asked about specific tea samples right after ordering as they said they offered free samples and that’s where I should have twigged. First I had to follow up as no one responded. The customer service rep said I should check spam and I did and nothing, no response. Then they said they don’t offer specific samples and so I asked ok at least a discount? Nope nothing, I should buy their 5 pack of 20g each if I want to try…after the way that birthday cake was, no way. Also my sample of Dozy girl was MUCH better than what I got in my pouch…it’s ground up and not nearly as pretty and tasting as good as the sample. Very disappointed and spent £23.35 for a let down.

**Edited following seller response** the seller came back and refunded the teas that didn’t live up to our expectation.
We’ve enjoyed the peach soda all weekend and have decided this is a lovely one so we’ll be purchasing more of this!

I wholeheartedly recommend Bird & Blend Tea Co. Not only do they offer an exceptional and thoughtfully curated selection of teas, but their customer service is truly outstanding.

As an environmental researcher, I’m working to phase out plastic from my daily life (specially for anything to do with food and beverages) due to concerns about microplastics and chemical leaching. Bird & Blend has made this transition much easier with their eco-conscious products.

I purchased their beautiful glass infuser mug with glass lid, which I absolutely love. Sadly, after a few accidental drops during busy workdays, the lid broke. I reached out to their customer service team and spoke with the lovely Katie. I explained my preference for avoiding plastic and asked if I could purchase a spare glass lid.

Katie was incredibly understanding and helpful—and went above and beyond by offering to add a replacement glass lid to my latest tea order free of charge!

This level of care and attentiveness is rare and deserves to be celebrated. Thank you, Bird & Blend, for your wonderful products and for supporting your customers with such genuine kindness and integrity.

Fantastic tea and literally the best customer service I have ever had. I didn’t like one of the flavours I received and they instantly replaced it with an alternative, no questions asked, no additional postage costs, just new tea. Can’t ask for anything more.

I discovered Bird and Blend when they opened their store in Cambridge.
Loose tea always had the handicap of using infusers that, for me, are difficult to fill and clean so I bought a Brewdini to help with this task. Sadly a miscommunication with my husband ended with the silicone ring being toss through the toilet when I was cleaning the remaining leaves. I wrote to Bird & Blend and sadly they didn't have the spares so I just bought another one and kept the first one for spares.
Last week (after 6 weeks of my email asking for help) they contacted me again and gave me the good news that they have received spare parts and they could send them! So I paid the postage and received my silicone rings (so I now have 2 fully functioning Brewdinis and another ring just in case my ADHD kick back) and 2 tea samples (and a lovely card).

I also love their teas, my favourites being Caramel Earl Grey, Apple Strudel and Maltese biscuit. And they flavoured matchas are really good (I don't like the original green matcha flavour).

Both the flag Bird and Blend and the Cambridge shop have amazing people working there!

The staff are always so friendly, love the stamp loyaly card and in my city they give discount with the 'For Cardiff' card. It keeps me returning and I also love the samples they offer when you come in. The teas are delicious!

Got this as a gift for Father's Day and I'm seriously impressed. The tea is absolutely amazing and it's helped me cut down on caffeine, which is a huge win. I don't even bother with boring water or juice full of dodgy sweeteners anymore.

I had a small issue with a few bits sneaking through the filter, but Daisy from support was brilliant. She gave me some really helpful tips to sort it out and was super friendly throughout.

Great company, great product, and even better service. Highly recommend!

Absolutely best tea company I’ve ever purchased from, their staff are so very kind and knowledgeable and as someone who drinks a lot of teas and tried a lot of brands I really would recommend them! Their quiz is very informative and good and you can also chat to someone live and they’ll help you if you’re unsure on what tea would suit best. If you anlso ever go to their stores they are very lovely their too. Overall such a lovely company and their ethos is amazing too! Shout out to Andi who was so lovely over the live chat and very helpful!
