Great service & good quality products. I would highly recommend this company.

Product was good. Delivery service was a disappointment. Delivery was arranged for a 2 hour slot. No-one arrived and I got no phone call. I only made progress when I called them. Delivery happened next day but the order was incomplete and I had to raise this - Bisley hadn't realised.

Excellent service at every stage. I was offered a precise time for delivery rather than the usual four hour window, and the item arrived on the dot and was unpacked by two friendly delivery men.

The company were able to deal with a number of questions in an efficient and very friendly manner. The purchase was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. I am pleased with the quality and look.

The only reason for giving 4/5 is that the on-line image of the product I originally wanted had dark handles but when I asked for confirmation on this I was told that the handles were actually chrome. I consequently changed my mind about the style I choose. In addition there was some erroneous information about the weights of the piece I bought, with one image showing 45 kg and the other 55kg for the same product. Confusing. Were they the same thing or not?? When querying these issues the company immediately were able to provide an accurate answer - so why is the information on line not accurate? Whilst this is not a great issue these two errors gave the impression of the information not being completely trustworthy - an irritation when buying on line. But a good company otherwise.

An excellent company to deal with. Phones were answered immediately and the staff were helpful. A mix-up with the send to store option (Bisley were not to blame) was resolved quickly and I wasn't charged for re delivery although the fault was with the store

Sourced replacement keys for a filing cabinet and they dispatched them within a couple of days. Superb service.

Wanted to make sure I got the real deal as there are lots of distributiors of Bisley filing cabinets. Happy i went direct and 2 weeks later have received my cabinet, exactly as ordered, with great communication on delivery times.

Great product and swift delivery. However...........
I purchased a Bisley PFA A4 Home Filing 2 drawer cabinet in Mimosa Green from the online company Bisleydirect.co.uk for the princely sum of £71.99, assuming I was ordering directly from Bisley and therefore guaranteeing the lowest price. By chance I was wandering round my local Office Outlet the following day and noticed, on a shelf, was exactly the same Mimosa Green cabinet for £54.99 (£17.00 cheaper than Bisleydirect's price).
I then decided to contact Bisleydirect and cheekily enquire whether they would entertain the notion of price matching. I was asked to send my enquiry via email and someone would respond.
And respond they did.
I received a prompt response via email from Graeme Winship and a light hearted (on my part at least) volley of words ensued.
Unfortunately Graeme, in the first instance, was adamant that he would not entertain the idea of price matching and advised that I could happily return the item at my own expense and they would provide me with a refund less their handling fee. The handling fee turned out to be £15.99 and it would have cost £14.00 to courier the cabinet back to them. This meant I would be out of pocket by £29.99. Even if I purchased the cabinet from Office Outlet for £54.99 my overall outlay would amount to £84.98 (£12.99 more than it cost at Bisleydirect).
I therefore, once again a little cheekily, enquired whether a good will gesture of £10 might be considered.
At this point everything went south.
The following email I received from Graeme was a little on the abrupt side.
He informed me that their company (Bisleydirect.co.uk) was not the manufacturer as Bisley do not sell their items direct to the customer.
He then went on to say....
"If I went into a Debenhams store [Incidentally, I work for Debenhams in one of their Support Centres] after I bought an item and asked them to price match (which I wouldn’t) would they?"
And...
"If you need to return the product so badly for £16, I’ll refund the whole amount and take the hit on the delivery cost as clearly Debenhams cannot afford the price difference and I don’t wish to appear disingenuous but it’s easy to search for PFA’s online and if you want to return it so be it. You can then buy it from Office outlet and then when you see it cheaper in Staples or Rymans return it and buy it from them!".
This took me back a little and instead of fighting fire with fire I decided to send the following response....

Hi Graeme,
Many thanks for your frank but somewhat terse response.
I was merely asking the question and was trying to keep it light hearted.
As a single parent on a limited income the pennies can be tight. I am not normally one to be so impudent but if you don’t ask you don’t know.
I appreciate you spending your precious time explaining how unconsidered it was to make such a preposterous suggestion. I now fully understand the error of my ways.
I have decided I will not be returning the filing cabinet. I would be wrong of me to consider that your company would take a hit of £17 against the mark up on this item and the huge impact it would have on your annual turnover and profits. I’m sure my lovely new Mimosa Green Bisley Filing cabinet and I will have many happy years together.
May I make a single suggestion before I bid you a fond farewell. Perhaps consider changing your trading name. Bisleydirect would suggest to customers that they were purchasing directly from the manufacturer. Just a thought.

I have not heard anything from Graeme since and imagine my surprise when I received an email from TrustPilot asking me to share my experience with Bisleydirect.co.uk.

So that's the story. As I said at the beginning its a great product, the delivery was swift and you can't fault the quality of service. Even the gentleman I spoke to in the first instance (I believe he goes by the name of Jack), was polite, courteous and helpful.
I could offer one piece of advice it would be to make sure you check your prices online before you buy from Bisleydirect.co.uk and be just a little cautious when dealing with Mr Graeme Winship FCILT

Custom painted filing cabinet is fab...looks great, very classy and effeciently does what it is supposed to do. Delivery firm, used by Bisley, were also very good. rang to make arrangements to deliver...delivered when they said would even though we live in the back of beyond in Argyll. Thanks very much! Would definitely recommend this product and Bisley!

Very helpful and responsive staff and excellent products.

The replacement keys arrived the next day. Great customer service!
