Our approach to postage refunds reflects our commitment to providing performance features at a fair price. By allowing you to choose your preferred postage, we can eliminate restocking fees and delivery charges for exchanges, which is a practice shared by many retailers.

Just like with all footwear brands, we suggest trying on the shoes first with tags still on and walk around the house. This is the worst company in England…
This is the worst company in England for work boots. The shoes do not hold true to size, although the company provides different dimensions than the actual insole. The shipment took as long as 8 days. The company refuses to refund the money for the wrong shoes!!!

As one of the UK's fastest-growing workwear brands, we take pride in accommodating our customers as much as possible and truly believe we go above and beyond most retailers when it comes to addressing issues. However, in your case, we regret that we cannot accept returns that are worn, have had their tags removed and missing their original retail box. This is stated on the tags attached to the shoes.

Quality the company stands behind
I bought a pair of safety shoes from Black Hammer and have been extremely pleased with them. They proved to be super comfortable and I have owned and worn the shoes for around a year. About a month ago, one shoe developed a small defect with part of the sole becoming detached. On speaking to the company they have quickly replaced the defective item and I can't recommend their service highly enough. Very quick, very corteous and highly recommendable; thank you Black Hammer. I would very happily buy from you again. Despite the minor defect arising, I would judge the quality of the product to be very good and the company's response to the issue, exceptional.

Black Hammer Safety Trainers. Not worth it?
Working in homes as a Handyman, (domestic work), I would expect safety trainers to last at least 2 years. This review is based on the 1st and 2nd pair I bought via Amazon. As Amazon site stated, buy as if they are for normal fit. So I bought my size (7) they were to small. I had to post back to Amazon to get a larger size (8) which fitted perfectly.
Within 4 months the 1st pair top hook eyelets broke as the metal is so soft. The second pair, now 6 months old have torn along the stitching on the outside of the right boot along with the same eyelets snapping off!
Very poor materials, along with either poor design or workmanship put these safety trainers at the bottom if the skip. They are a waste of money for what you pay for.
A pair of SITE safety trainers have now been purchased as an alternative. Again I'll leave a review after 4-6 months use
