Joining this pharmacy was the worst decision and leaving was the best one .
Worst service, staff are not friendly at all , and prescriptions are always late.

I consistently get a wonderful and caring service every time I visit Brown's pharmacy to collect our monthly prescriptions. Our prescriptions are always done correctly and are ready. Additionally, for my daughter and I, we have been really delighted with the advice that the pharmacist Uzma has given to us. She is a very practical and kind lady, who takes a holistic approach. She is very keen on promoting a good diet and natural products too. The advice she has given to us has been so helpful. She is very generous with her time and we really appreciate it. I recently visited Browns Pharmacy for their phlebotomy service and was very pleased with the experience. The staff were welcoming, professional, and ensured the procedure was quick and comfortable. The environment was clean and well-organised, and I appreciated the efficiency and care provided throughout. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable and convenient blood test service.

Fantastic pharmacy. Been going to yardley wood for years. All the girls are so friendly and helpful, kind and considerate. They definitely go above and beyond. Such a clean environment to. Lots of choice in products for such a small shop. If they haven’t got it they will order it. Never had any issues with these marvellous ladies x

Went to collect Meds at around 5pm after prescription sent there by my GP. I got asked my name, address but was appalled when asked, without any discretion, my date of birth in front of other customers. I understand that it's good to ascertain who the recipient of meds is to avoid any breach of confidentiality or even issuing meds to wrong patient.

I was told that the prescription that was issued around midday had just arrived and that I have to wait 24hrs before I can collect it. However, I asked for it to be done ASAP, as I really needed this medication which led to being asked to wait 15min before it was ready which I can appreciate.

I came back after waiting and then thought of suggesting to the young lady working there to look into how they ask patients details when there's other patients around for the sake of patient confidentiality by maybe asking patients for a form of ID or speaking to patients closely to avoid others from hearing confidential information such as D.O.B, address and names as she did with me when she asked me of my details from her computer across the room with others hearing my details. The young lady's response was very rude and judgemental.

The most disheartening thing as a customer was that someone who I believe was her boss, justified her rude response to my concern over my confidentiality.

As a professional I speak to patients asking them to confirm their details to ensure I give them the right treatment or diagnostic test but I do it bearing in mind that those details can identify them and must not be available to anyone
around the waiting room inline with information governance guidelines.

THAT IS BREACHING PEOPLES CONFIDENTIALITY, which is against the tenets of protecting patient confidentiality.

Poor service, childish and rude staff member.

The friendly efficient service I regularly receive is first class.
However the pharmacist surpassed herself yrsterday on receiving an electronic prescription from my doctor for anti-biotics cleverly realized I had an infection and needed the anti- biotics urgently.
Within 3 hours of my spraking to the doctor the pharmacist disprnsed the prescription and arranged for the capsules to be delivered to my home for me to start the course of treatment immediately.
I really appreciated the impressive exceptionsl attention to detail that exceeded the normal service

Was invited to make appointment for free covid jab in email from my doctor as I have an autoimmune disease..
Made appointment at galley common chemist ..
Small man with attitude refused to give injection as my autoimmune disease wasn’t on his list…and that I needed a letter from my doctor… fat chance I don’t know what he looks like.
Never had problem anywhere before in having covid jab.
Wasted journey and time…

Nightmare went for a COVID 19 jab I was waiting to go in when an elderly lady came in 5 minutes after I arrived for a prescription and they asked if she wanted to do a health check survey which obviously they get paid for so she is brought in and I’m stuck for 30 minutes waiting for my vaccine I asked what was going on and was told that they were doing a health consultation so I need to be patient when I finally got in I asked the pharmacist what happened and she went red in the face and said she had to do pharmacy services what ever that means so yep never going back there again wouldn’t advise anyone else to get a jab there either

Made a small online order over a weekend, for two items which was easy to do. One of the items was difficult to source elsewhere as there seems to be a shortage. Order acknowledgement, invoicing and notification of dispatch was all good, and delivery via post was quick a couple of days later.

We have been using our local branch for the past few years now and mainly due to the fact that its the only pharmacy right near to our home and therefore convenient especially when my husband is in and out of hospital and the fact i am unable to get about.
The only reason we have given it the four stars is only because the head pharmacist is extremely friendly, extremely helpful and has time for you to help when in need. He is highly qualified and very professional and is a genuine nice person.
Unfortunately we have had several occasions whereby the temporary pharmacists cannot seem to measure correctly as we have had on many occasions our medication dosages undercut or they have broken containers and we have had to demand a replacement medication for the the damaged ones these temp pharmacists have dropped or it got to the point whereby my husband had to take over a measuring jug to check the amount. As being undercut makes a big difference when in severe chronic pain. The staff thought it was so funny but for us it was serious as we needed our correct dosage that had been prescribed.
One does also have to be mindful that druggies have been known to try and snatch peoples prescriptions that have been done and people are collecting from their hands in the doorway of this pharmacy or on occasions follow people. They have caught a few on camera.
Nearly all other pharmacies that we know of have employed security but this company doesn't think its necessary.
As we have stated we have given this particular branch a 4 star rating only because of the professional and helpful Head pharmacist. We had knocked off one star because of these temporary pharmacists that are letting this branch down and really is unfair as it does not reflect all the good that the head pharmacist does. Alot of local people feel the same and due to these temp pharmacists people say this branch is giving very poor service which actually they are but it s a good branch when the head one is there on duty and does act on complaints regarding these temp pharmacists and medications. Its a real shame that these few are giving it a bad reputation. We do not feel either that the post office staff member should be dealing with patients medications either.
The staff are currently working in a temporary shop whilst a new pharmacy is being built and we hope that the new one will bring back all the beautiful gifts that they used to sell at great prices as at the moment they have no room but one could always find a beautiful gift in a hurry. We miss that. It doesn't seem that the regular customers get consulted as to what they need or want to see come back into the shop.
Here's hoping that the new pharmacy will be like the old one but in a nicer store.

I have used Browns Pharmacy on the Green for years. My experience has always been a good one.
All the staff are always so friendly and very helpful.They will go out of their way to get exactly what you want.

Whenever I visit Browns Pharmacy, I’m always greeted with a smile. Always served efficiently and always a professional manner. Never have to wait too long to be served, which is good as it’s a busy place…

Used to be a really good Pharmacy.The blonde/grey haired woman behind the counter has no customer service skills whatsoever.She is rude and speaks to customers like something she has found on the bottom of her shoe. Bad attitude altogether even people outside the Chemist were talking about her. Needs to go on a customer training program or get rid.

Terrible service, non existent customer care at this pharmacy in Yardley wood, the worst pharmacy I have ever been in.
