We ordered 1 custom radiator first to make sure we liked them, together with an 'off-the-shelf' towel radiator. It took 5 weeks to arrive, the towel radiator was nowhere to be seen and we had to cancel, it was out of stock but noone thought to let us know..
Stupidly, we carried on thinking 'lightning doesn't strike twice'.... and ordered another 5 larger custom radiators after being categorically assured we'd get them within 3 weeks, alas we were let down again and waited just under 5 weeks again.
That was in March, now our plumber is trying to fit them and they've supplied the wrong joining tool. Even though we rang this morning as a matter of urgency they still failed to despatch the correct tool by close of play today, useless.
Honestly, phoning these people is excruciating, they have to go to the 'shop floor' & call you back. Then don't. So you call them again and go through the same process.. aaarrgggggggggg!!!!!!! ..pls just call me back, even to say 'sorry i can't do anything right now'
Echoing someone else on this list 'if this is British service then God help us...'

I ordered over £3k worth of radiators from Cast Iron Radiators to fit out the upstairs of my house. I had noted their advice online that because of the weight of the radiators we'd need two strong people at home to take delivery. Because of this when I placed the order online I followed up their order confirmation with an email requesting advance notice of delivery so we could arrange for my husband and a friend to be home from work. I received acknowledgment that this would happen. However it didn't happen and it was just pure luck that my husband was home when the delivery driver called to say he was round the corner from our house and were we in. I called to question as to why we were given no advance notice and was promised a response. So far that hasn't happened. The irony is I still need to order cast iron radiators for the downstairs of my house - another £3k at least. However despite explaining this to them when I called several months ago Cast Iron Radiators clearly don't want my business so I'll have to find a suitable alternative elsewhere. It's a real shame my service experience was poor as the product is good and I would otherwise have been happy to order with them again.

We have recently bought 3 large radiators from cast iron radiator company & I must say from placing the order to the delivery was all great & the radiators are just superb , we are so warm now & are now saving up again for another 4 hopefully to complete the rest of the downstairs !! Excellent service and delivery. Competitively priced and clear handling and installation instructions were very helpful. Additionally, spraying the radiators to your exact colour requirement is a big plus.

After searching for just the right radiator to complement the bathroom in our 300 year old cottage we found this company. The website was easy to follow and the prices seemed reasonable. We decided on a black cast iron hand painted silver highted column radiator. It felt a bit peculiar ordering such an item with seeing it or a sample first, and I did have some reservations. I spoke to the staff prior ordering and they were super helpful whih made me feel a little more at ease but I was still uneasy I was taking a chance. The radiator arrived on time as promised and the delivery driver was equally just as pleasant and helpful. I couldnt wait to unpack my radiator (sad I know) but when I did I thought it was amazing. Absolutely fantastic! It will be the perfect feature for my bathrrom. The paint job work is very authentic and everyone who has seen my radiator has been truely impressed. It is still unfortunately, waiting to be installed but I will send a photo to the company on completion. I am now looking to find a place for the next one!

Soort summary;

Order placed at November 17th, delivery January 27th.
Between that time, there was a lot of communication from my side, and sporadic (and misleading) communications from 'castironradiators'.

For now, what's still pending is a solution for the two different types of vents I got with the shipment (copper and nickel).

Suffice it to say I'm not impressed by this company.

Really easy and a joy to order from. Staff helpful and delivery was efficient and communication was great for delivery schedule. Packaging good and all items as per website.

A quality service and a quality product delivered with professionalism.

I don't usually review companies but my experience with Cast Iron Radiators has been bad.
My husband ordered a 10 column radiator a while back now. After having to chase up the company over 2 weeks after placing the order they said there was some kind of problem with the order and said in better words that it had basically been overlooked. After waiting a further 5 days it was eventually sent.
When it arrived it was very poorly packaged and as a result had lots of scratches all over and deep gouges on the feet.
When we called up the company to complain they were not interested and said that's why they had sent a tiny miniature bottle of paint so we could repair it ourselves but if it had been packaged slightly better this wouldn't have been necessary to the degree we has to touch it up. (Seems like a easy get out of poor packing and delivery really)
The actual paint finish itself is rather shoddy, there is bits of what looks like plastic or foam that have been painted over which looks dreadful and even more so where we have had to touch it up with a brush.
I'm pretty dissatisfied all around and wish we had gone for a more reputable company, but you live and learn I guess. "Sigh"

***Update - January 2016***
This radiator has now been installed for a little over 9 months now and has again started leaking from a different area oozing rust water all over my floor again - words can't comprehend how poorly built these rads are, it's terrible. Leading on to my review below my credit card company had to get involved to take legal action against the company so I received a partial refund.

I purchased a custom built 14 section cast iron radiator, it came on time as stated and in the colour I wanted...great.....no it was faulty upon arrival and of awful poor quality and construction.
Then it goes downhill rapidly!
First thing is the radiator never came with a bleed valve as promised.
I then paid £120 to have the rad fitted by a professional gas safe and registered plumber, as soon as the system was pressurised the top coupler was leaking!! Which my fitter rectified by 'nipping it up'.

An hour after fitting I noticed a pool of water under the bottom coupler where the valve connects, which was leaking. Called the plumber back who after trying to tighten the coupler confirmed that something was fundamentally wrong. After draining the system and undoing the coupler the radiator had been delivered with a split seal so no tightening would have put it right.

Anyway after forking out another £80 for my plumber to put right faulty radiator I was left for 2 weeks chasing up these cowboys to get my repair money back. After being fobbed off time and time again they eventually had the cheek to say my plumber caused the problem after admitting blame in the first place.
I've now had to contact my credit card company who are going to issue a refund and claim costs back from this disgraceful company.
Their customer service is a disgrace and the company needs shutting down by trading standards.
They should not be allowed to get away with supplied sub standard faulty products.
PLEASE PLEASE AVOID!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
You can get the same rads elsewhere for the same price, do not risk getting ripped off by this terrible company delivering poor quality goods as they won't be interested once they have your money.

Ordered 2 radiators on 23/03. They back straight away to say that 1 of the 2 is out of stock so delivery will be 4 weeks. Discussed with Anne, we agreed for the 4 weeks but she said the 1 that ready stock will be delivery once its painted and ready.
Called 09/04, spoke with Anne, asking for order status and expectation to get the ready stock delivered, she said she will check it for me and will call back. Didn't hear anything.
Sent email 10/04, asked again with status, no reply until today 12/04.
Pease put yourself in position of customer when you deal with us - how do you want to be treated?

My wife and I ordered from these guys and we received some top quality radiators. Painted Sovereigns were exactly what we were looking for. The staff team are really easy to work with. Everything arrived on time and safe. Many Thanks.

I bought 3 radiators from cast iron radiators back in may. From start to finish the customer service was amazing. The guys at the office kept me up to date at every stage of my order, until it was delivered. The radiators were perfect, I went for the painted option and they looked fantastic. I will be ordering from them again. 5 starts for cast iron radiators.

David Jackson, Ryan & Jenna have been unreal, jumping to correct an error with my order and a problem that occurred during delivery. All members of the team acted immediately and professionally.One of them was at the end of the phone to reassure, help and guide me always.The customer service i received, from the 1st call making enquires on cast iron radiators, through to the last updated email has been nothing but phenomenal!!!
I would highly recommend this company & will be back in the future with another large order for sure.

I contacted cast iron Radiators in Yorkshire to get me out of a hole after I was let down by another company who sold me 'polished radiators' that were truly awful. Cast iron radiators limited were brilliant. I had my order of 15 column rads within 10 days and they could not be better. My advice is not to shop around too much as there are lots of time wasters out there - just go with the biggest and most established company. That is what I will be doing with my next client...
