Very pleased, ordered CD on 01/08/25, received 'on the way' email on 20/08/25, figured that it would take longer than time stated on website, I received CD on 11/09/25, thrilled as I had bought a dvd from different company and received a copy with photocopied cover, was bit worried same thing would happen, but I got real deal....the only reason it took as long as it did, is it was held up in customs, customs demand on 26/08/25, which really annoyed me, but I definitely going to use this site again

ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!!! don't buy from them. Purchased over month ago never received confirmation or tracking details for item. After numerous attempts emailing them, no response. SCAMMMMM !!!!!!! DISGUSTING. Someone sitting in his house and stealing peoples money.

Poor customer service, must be a scam site, emailed them at least 6 times no reply regarding my order that I have been waiting for. Very disappointing, especially as they send out new release emails every week encouraging you to buy again. Avoid at all cost

I'm waiting an order from 1st may. They don't responde to emails and request for refound. Don't buy from them it's a scam site.

Terrible service they scammed ya boy for 100 dollars for Tory Lanez - alone at prom vinyl it’s been over a month no response just dead silence! Avoid them at all costs!

Awful. No communication response AT ALL. Bought a cassette tape April 16th. Website’s processing times are inconsistent. I don’t mind this as long as there is some form of communication. Emailed, called, instagrammed. Zip. Don’t buy from this store

I ordered a vinyl since February, I’ve not had an update, I’ve multiple emails, no response. I’m not sure if I’ll get my order sent or my refund. This seller is terrible, hope I’ve not been scammed.

I rarely get caught out on line but this time I have been shafted.
I was trying to find a copy of an LP for a friend.Despite being a UK release no UK store or Ebay seller had a copy.
BINGO!! - this store was selling a copy,shipping available by DHL ( I have bought records from Japan many times and have used DHL for shipping with no issues) so I was not worried.

The site looked professional there were a lot of categories and it all looked legit.

I was offered a discount on my first order,received the code by e mail only to find out it expired in 2014.

I placed the order regardless as the only other shop selling the LP I wanted was in Belgium and they refused to post to the UK as UK is not in the EU.

Order confirmation was duly received.

Then on a daily basis I am getting E:Mails offering 10% off. But no dispatch E:Mail for what I ordered.

Numerous attempts at contact through E:Mail and their website get no reply.

This is so unfortunate as there were a lot more purchases in the pipeline . This place is letting all Japanese sellers down big time. I do not even know if this is a legitimate Record store or not.

Now having to go through my Bank to try and get a refund - STUPID !! - Paypal/Klarna not being a payment option was a massive red flag which I failed to recognise.

AVOID - there are plenty of other reliable Seller's from Japan on Ebay and reliable Record Stores based in Japan eg "CD JAPAN" Moral of the story ?....DO YOUR RESEARCH.

UPDATE :- tried to contact today 25/04/2025 and it seems the E: Mail address is no longer active.

Unable to deliver message after multiple retries, giving up." 26/04 I Have been unable to locate the address given by this place. I even went as far as to try the Phone Number which is not an active number.
Clearly this is a scam site likely located in eastern Europe not Japan and praying on the fascination of UK record collectors for Japanese issues.
Reporting as fraudulent to my Bank now.

wish I'd come here first. Spent £40 on a gift for someone. Item was never sent and now no reply from emails. Scammed. I would recommend not ordering from this site.

Awful experience, zero communication, after 3 weeks I submitted for refund.

The "seller" offers 10 per cent discount in it's entire catalogue. they sell items they don't have. They don't answer emails ever. Time goes by... No shipment. No answer. No nothing. More than one month later they answer that they will refund some items they couldn't find. They charge the full shipping rate for the rest of the order. Therefore no discount at all
Run from this seller!!! Shame for the good Japanese Music sellers. DRip off. Waste of time.

It wasn't until I ordered the 2025 Bob Dylan Japan Vinyl Series, valued at €363.55, that I discovered the mostly negative reviews online. I placed my order on March 10, 2025, and received an email confirmation. After that, I heard nothing more (my inquiries weren't answered). On April 2, I received an email from FedEx saying a package was on its way from Tokyo. It arrived in Germany today, April 4. Very well packaged, and my order is complete...

I was nervous about placing an order with this seller, but it went well. I ordered more than $200 in Japanese CDs on Jan. 15 and received order confirmation that day. A couple weeks went by but I knew from online comments/reviews that the seller takes his time. Then on Feb. 4 & 5 I received emails and texts from DHL and the seller, informing me that the package had shipped. It arrived Feb. 6. So I can recommend CDs Vinyl Japan. You might have to wait a while for your items to arrive, but in my case the wait was worth it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I am currently in the process of disputing the charge with my CC company. I ordered a month ago. No contact. No record. Nothing from them at all. Pathetic service. A total SCAM.

No delivery, no reply to emails since 4 weeks. I did not expect this from a Japanese vendor. Will contact my credit card company for return of my money.

Scam! Vorsicht - Fake Seite.

It's a scam. I ordered a couple of records from them in November 2024 and never received anything from them. I had to get my credit card company to open a refund dispute. They answered to ZERO of my emails. I just wish i'd seen this site before getting swindled.

Beware, scam. The order never shipped so I contacted them. They replied that they would cancel the order and issue a refund. The refund never appeared. Had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Nothing wrong with this seller. I chose small packet delivery (cheapest option) and it arrived in 2 weeks. There are also faster options like express delivery. The package was professional packed and the CDs were absolutely safe. Everything was like described, new and sealed. No need for customer service. Based on my experiences, I highly recommend cdsvinyljapan.com.

I want to add that I order now on a regular basis. I made 3 more orders and evertime it was a perfect transaction. With standard shipping it takes 2-4 weeks to Germany. Very reliable and trustful seller. 5 stars. Always!
