Chalkboard Tuition レビュー

The experience was simple and professional from start to finish. We used Chalkboard for Maths (Debra) and English (Rachel) after receiving lower-than-expected mock results. Both tutors started as an hour per week from January until the exams, with extra sessions the night before exams. This really helped Zac, and he found the sessions extremely helpful, and even enjoyed them. He clicked with both ladies as they really supported him, and they built a nice bond together. It also resulted in Zac’s grades going up by two grades in both subjects. They were super flexible when sessions needed to change on occasions and the payment process was slick. Thank you, strongly recommend getting in touch with Debra if you’re in a similar position, or more proactive than we were 👍🏼🙌🏼

Really happy with the support my son received with his GCSE Maths. I contacted Debra quite late, but she was so helpful and managed to find a great tutor for him. The extra support really helped, and he achieved the grade he needed to go on to A-level Maths. We’re very grateful and would definitely recommend Chalkboard Tuition!

All of the tutors are really kind and want you to do the best. They help to fill you with confidence and they want to help you get to your target grade, if not better. My grade in maths and English improved massively due to the help of the tutors. They are really caring about improvements and are proud to see grades go up or improvements in confidence.

As parent you want your child to achieve their best. Debra certainly delivered this for our daughter, she gave our daughter confidence in a subject that certainly wasn't her favorite. Debra engaged with her in a way that made her want to learn and she looked forward to her 1-1 sessions. On results day Debra was one of the first to be messaged by our daughter to let her know results.
A lovely personable tutor who I would certainly recommend

Debra is an exceptional tutor. She took a girl who had always had low confidence in Maths and gave her the confidence, belief in herself and the necessary tools to succeed. She has a special way of engaging 1-1 and helping believe in themselves. On results day, my daughter’s first thought was to message Debra with her result, she was that happy.
A remarkable tutor who I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

I contacted Debra to tutor my son running up to his GCSE exams. He is academically able but lacked confidence following some changes in teachers at school. I genuinely cannot recommend her highly enough. She is fantastic. From her initial meeting with me and my son to the weekly tuition we booked she has been outstanding. I have been in and around during her sessions and they are engaging, she covered topics, demonstrated examples and then asked him to solve examples and talk her through his thought processes. She recommended revision flash cards, she helped him prioritise revision areas and contacted us prior to exam days, the day before results day and the day of the exam results which was so appreciated. My son got the grade 6 he wished for to enable him to study the subjects he wanted to at sixth form. Debra was a major factor in increasing his confidence to achieve this. I would 100% recommend her tuition to anyone wanting extra tuition in preparation for SATs, GCSEs and A Levels. We would not hesitate in using her again.

Debra has successfully tutored both of my sons through their GCSE Maths and I can’t thank her enough for her support and guidance over the years. Her patience, care, humour and genuine interest in the boys has made it such a pleasurable experience. We will all miss Debra immensely now they are both successfully through. Also Sarah and Becky from Chalkboard, two fabulous tutors, who supported my son with his English and Science - top class! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend in every way!

Can't recommend Chalkboard Tuition enough! Amazing, patient and dedicated to their pupils especially Debra to my daughter! Holly was predicted a 3 in maths and getting a tutor was the best decision we made as she passed with a 5!! Well worth it!!

Thank you so much Debra she couldn't have done it without you!

Debra has been a wonderful maths tutor for my daughter Millie. What stood out most was how Debra helped Millie relax around maths — by the time exams came around, Millie went in feeling calm and confident instead of anxious.

Debra has a real gift for putting students at ease while still building genuine understanding of the material. I’d happily recommend her to any parent looking for a tutor who can help their child not just improve academically, but feel good about maths again. She has now gone on to study A-level maths and I cannot thank Debra enough for her positive contribution.

I was a little apprehensive about online tuition when we started using chalkboard for my sons GCSE maths tuition but it gave him everything he needed, we started with one session a fortnight then increased to weekly as exams approached. Nathan’s tutor lucy was patient and worked at Nathan’s pace. His grade increased from a predicated grade 5 in year 9 to a final GCSE grade of 7. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for GCSE tuition.

Massive thank you to Chalkboard tuition for help my son weeks leading up to his GCSE maths. My son has always struggled getting past a grade 3 and with the fantastic help from Sophie leading up to his exams, he finally passed maths!
Absolutely over the moon, and he actually said it was the help he needed.
Thank you Sophie.

Massive Thank you to chalkboard tuition and Lucy for supporting Indie through her maths gsce. She achieved a grade higher than predicted and has got a place at her chosen sixth form.
Would highly recommend Lucy to anyone needing extra support.

My son achieved excellent results after working with his tutor Jorga. She gave him some really useful strategies and most of all boosted his confidence! Would definitely recommend this company to others.

My daughter enjoyed every lesson with Debra always coming away feeling positive and happy with maths . She is now looking forward to doing A’level maths feeling inspired and motivated !!!

Thank you Debra !

As someone who has always struggled with maths in general, I would say that if I knew about Debra sooner I would have passed a lot quicker than expected. She breaks down each topic into a way that is both easy and effective for you.

Used for maths and science, both tutors were excellent. Very patient, daughter passed with excellent grades.

Thanks very much Debra for introducing such a fantastic and professional English tutor to us (Jorga). She worked with my daughter for around sixth month and her grade improved from grade 6 to 8 in her GCSE exam. I can’t be happier 🙏🙏

helped me a lot during my gcses and before, while also ensuring i understood subjects thoroughly. overall made a positive change in my maths skills, thank you x

The best tutors i have ever had, really helpful and really engaging lessons. If i didnt properly understand a certain topic my tutor explained it well to me in a way which helped me understand. My grade improved from a 4 to a 6 within 1 year of having a tutor. I would recommend 100% to anyone who needs a tutor

Ali was a fantastic A-Level Maths Tutor. Sam suddenly hit a wall with Maths and had just fallen out of love with the subject. Ali turned that around completely and he has walked away with a final grade B (his grade in his last mocks was an E). Ali's teaching style worked really well and has helped him to achieve a final grade which allows him to attend his University of choice.
The whole process, working with Chalkboard Tuition, has been simple, effective and most of all caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Chalkboard to any other parent/student.
