All the staff have been highly professional, courteous and a pleasure to do business with. And the finished product is excellent.

Phoned The Cheshire Stove shop for some information regarding a stove I'd seen at another supplier to confirm the information I'd been given elsewhere but found Martin and John more than helpful so much so I purchased a Rais 900 inset stove from them without even seeing it and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome so its a massive thankyou from us and would recommend you without hesitation.

We contacted this company for a quote on repairing an existing chimney. We felt that we got professional, well-informed advice so when we decided to opt for a new stove rather than repair they were our first choice to fit. They were very happy to advise on choice of stove and hearth but also accommodating to our desires - offered to source a different stove if required and fit a different hearth. In the end, we purchased our stove from their selection but chose a different hearth, which they fitted for us. They worked quickly and neatly to install the stove, which has been well enjoyed already. All communications with them were easy and professional - a great company that I would recommend to all.

Purchased stove online Wednesday night with 48hr delivery. Spoke to shop on phone on Thursday and was told it was coming from factory 10 miles from my delivery address in Dorset and would arrive Monday. I got notification Friday from factory it had been despatched and would be getting call from courier with delivery time. 11am Monday no sign of Courier so rang factory who said they do not do 48hr delivery and just ship the stoves by pallet company. Rang shipping company who said it was at warehouse about 3 miles from where I was but couldn't deliver on Monday.
Contact Cheshire stoves who claimed that 24hr or 48hr delivery means from when it leaves factory and not from purchase date. I explained that I had travelled down from London where I work in the week and took the day off but they didn't seem to care. They seemed unrepentant they had assured me on the phone it would arrive on Monday and instead said I was being unrealistic expecting a delivery 5 days after purchase. I was so upset at their attitude and their reluctance to resolve the matter I then felt I had no option other than to cancel the order.
They are now refusing to refund 3 days later as they claim the stove is still with the shipping company and I am somehow liable for any damage or loss until it returns back to the factory! If you are buying an Ekol stove they have a shop at the factory save yourself a lot of grief and buy direct.

The whole process was made so easy with the expertise of Martyn and his team. Who we're all knowledgable, friendly, and very tidy.

The standard of work and knowledge of the team was excellent. They were professional, courteous and helpful throughout the process and gave guidance when we needed it. We did have some issues with the times the workmen turned up for work, e.g.later than we were expecting which was frustrating, but Martyn reacted quickly to this. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending the Cheshire Stove Shop and we are delighted with our new stove.

I purchased a Fireline stove based on the recommendation and experience of Martyn from Cheshire Stoves. The communication and clarification on the specification and the "Britishness" of the Fireline was very good. I particularly liked the fact that Martyn was able to squeeze in an installation in to take advantage of existing scaffolding. He actually helped with the installation himself to get it done in one day ! Other suppliers had quoted weeks and in some cases months to install with zero flexibility. I wish Martyn well as he expands into larger premises and hope he continues to provide the quality of service I have experienced to date.

This was the first time buying a log burning stove. Excellent advice in these early stages on both product selection and aspects of chimney construction was followed by a first class installation; on time and without fuss. After sales advice has been equally satisfying - But don't forget the shop is closed Wednesdays as that was always the day I wanted to call !

Got the usual 3 quotes, which were all similar prices. survey/Quote/work all done in timely manner. Important good website & able to see pictures of their actual work, others had, however pictures were dated & not modern so did not fill me with confidence of end result. Clean & efficient working methods. Plenty of choices, loads of brochures, possibly too many to choose from. I had a badly fitted fire which had never looked good and somehow worked which was not safe. I would thoroughly recommend you choose Martyn and the Stove shop, you will not be disappointed.
