The product quality is excellent

The product quality is excellent, and the tones are among the best I've used. I did have an issue with the download limit after replacing my hardware, and initially found the policy frustrating. However, after discussing the situation with customer support, they reset my downloads as a goodwill gesture and resolved the issue.

Choptones delivers awesome useable tones!!

Have had several modelers over the past few years, and whenever I purchased preset packs from Choptone, they have definitely been some of my favorites and the one's I play live. With even the best presets, there is usually a bit of "tweaking" to fit one's personal equipment (speakers, guitars, pickups, etc). However, I have found Choptones delivers professionally made presets that need minimal changes. I am super happy with their products and I a now another loyal customer :)

Great sounds and easy to use

i already ordered line6 patch, there was pretty fine. I wanted to test cab's IRs, I'm not familiar on how it should change/improve "my" sound, but I'm quite happy with some of them. Easy to use in different plugins tool and also on my line6 hx stomp. Impossible to compare with real cabs, but happy with the results.

PlutÎt déçu car aucune scÚne de fm3 fournies

PlutÎt déçu car je pensais que les presets fm3 fournis seraient composés de plusieurs scÚnes. Par exemple, j'ai acheté Gary vol1 et pour chaque preset il n'y a même pas de scÚne crée. Pour Still got the blues par exemple j'imaginais qu'il y aurait une scÚne Clean, une scÚne Crunch et une scÚne Lead. Non rien du tout, juste un présent sans scÚne qui sonne comme le solo de Still got. Et ceci est vrai pour les 5 presets.
C'est un peu abusé vu le prix demandé.

We're sorry the product did not meet your expectations, but we believe this review is unfair for one important reason.

Your review is based on features you expected to find in the presets, but which were never advertised, described, or demonstrated anywhere in the product presentation.

At no point did we state that each FM3 preset would include multiple scenes (Clean, Crunch, Lead, etc.). The contents of the pack are presented transparently before purchase, and the demos accurately represent what is included.

We completely understand that you would have preferred a different programming approach. However, personal expectations that were never part of the product description should not be confused with missing features or misleading advertising.

The pack contains exactly what was advertised and demonstrated before purchase, with no hidden omissions or discrepancies.

I'm very happy with my first Choptones Packs

I'm very happy with my first Choptones order for Helix Floor – everything went quite smoothly; you just have to check which patches work well with which IRs. I ordered the Strat Pack 1 and the Rock Pack 2 and I'm satisfied – especially the IRs in Rock Pack 2, which really improve the Helix Floor. I'll definitely be ordering more packs, especially specialized amp packs like the JCM 800, etc. I can highly recommend Choptones pac

Yo no conseguí ni que sonarán parecido


Yo no conseguí ni que sonarán parecido los tonos y para colmo de males tuve que devolver la Hotone Ampero II Stomp porque tenía fallo y ahora esos presets no me sirven para nada.

We’re sorry that your experience was not positive, but we need to clarify a few important points.

The tones included in the pack are exactly the same ones heard in the official demos. We do not use post-processing or hidden studio enhancements to alter the final result. It is essential that the presets are loaded correctly and that the device is properly configured in order to achieve the expected sound.

Additionally, the fact that you had to return your Hotone Ampero II Stomp due to a hardware defect is completely unrelated to the quality or functionality of our product.

After your review was published, we also reached out asking for additional information regarding the issues you experienced in order to better understand the situation and potentially help, but we never received any reply.

We understand the frustration caused by having issues with your unit, but we believe a 1-star review does not fairly represent the pack or the product received.

Guitar Tones I can use !

Chop Tones always have the guitar sounds I'm looking for. I play Classic Rock & Roll Music. I have bought many NUX MG-300,
NUX Mighty Plug Pro, and now The
NUX MG-300 MK II At most, I might have to tweak a setting a little but usually the Chop Tone Packages are fine, just the way they are. I will be buying more !

I ordered the wrong medium for my line


I ordered the wrong medium for my line 6 amp modeler and you refused to switch the one i purchased for the one that works with my line 6 equipment. Likely the last time i will shop your store.

Hi Mike,

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, but your review leaves out some important context.

The product purchased was a NAM pack, which is a completely different format from Quad Cortex or Line 6 products. Digital products are clearly labeled by platform before purchase, and due to the nature of downloadable digital content, we cannot simply “swap” products after delivery as if they were physical goods.

What makes this review even more confusing is that your request originally involved switching from NAM to Quad Cortex, while the review now references Line 6 equipment instead.

We always encourage customers to carefully verify platform compatibility before purchasing, and we remain available to help clarify any doubts beforehand.

I bought the Pantera tones

I bought the Pantera tones. Honestly the cowboys lead was pretty accurate the rest I feel were slip given to me. Not super happy with the purchase.

We appreciate your feedback, although we honestly feel a 2-star review is extremely severe considering your own review acknowledges that at least some of the tones were very accurate.

As always, the tones included in the pack are exactly the same ones heard in the demos. We do not use post-processing, hidden studio tricks, or external production enhancements to alter the sound presented in our videos.

Tone perception can naturally vary depending on monitoring systems, guitars, pickups, playing dynamics, output levels, firmware versions, and personal expectations, but the product itself faithfully reflects the demos provided before purchase.
