Always lovely to see Ian. Nice having the same person over many years. One of our sensors on the door was not working which he was able to fix which was not easy. Called before arriving. Such a nice man.

Security Alarm Annual Service
Our annual alarm service from Chubb went, as usual, like clockwork. The appointment timing period had been arranged at the time of booking and the whole event went like clockwork. The engineer rang us, within the time widow, to confirm his time of arrival. As usual the maintenance went like clockwork and was finished well within the time allowed, the engineer was polite, informative and tidied up after himself. An impeccable job.
The only complaint I have with Chubb is that earlier this year, the system is serviced annually, we called out Chubb after an alarm went off during the night. It was caused by a faulty sensor. Despite the maintenance contract (not cheap) we were charged some £250 for a new sensor, although not for the fitting (covered apparently by the maintenance contract) As the failed sensor was supplied by Chubb I remain mildly irritated that the company doesn’t appear to stand by its own security products, nor upgrade them with newer better products as they become available. But as it is the only failure since installation I am probably demanding too much.
