The jewellery is overpriced and bad…
The jewellery is overpriced and bad quality! Necklace/ chain broke 3 times in 1 year! I got it fixed the first two times and in the last time the chain got replaced. The replacement looks cheap, and did not have the same quality. Don’t get fooled into the marketing here!! Your buying melted down, recycled, un-pure gold. Go to another jeweller and compare your items from Chupi… you will see what poor quality Chupi is. I am glad to see other people have left similar messages… the owner should take note and stop overcharging and creating real value for ppl instead. Heirlooms ??? How, if they break instantly?? Service was good.

We take huge pride in the quality of craftsmanship in every piece of Chupi jewellery and to experience repeated failure of a necklace chain is of naturally of huge concern to us and certainly far below the expectations of quality that we expect for all of our customers.
Each Chupi piece comes with a quality guarantee during which time we provide complimentary repair or replacement services to original owners should a problem arise. While we are unable to confirm the details of your individual experience, this should have been the case for you throughout what we are sure was a frustrating journey. And we ask you to accept our apologies and to reach out directly to our team if this was not the case.
As with all businesses, we review our supplier base regularly. While our new chain looks a little different, we are confident that it has undergone significant quality checks including tension testing to ensure the highest quality.
As part of our commitment to sustainable manufacturing and to meet our carbon reduction goals, every Chupi piece is crafted from carbon neutral, recycled gold. Every cast is independently assessed to confirm the purity of the gold by The Company of Goldsmiths in Ireland and bears the quality stamp and mark of the Irish Assay Office, stamped in Dublin Castle.
We work with many of the country’s finest jewellery casters, goldsmiths, and specialist setters in producing our work, and we are proud to be a part of a small community of businesses that choose to produce here in Ireland and with whom we share a mutual respect.

Broken necklace after only two years
I am incredibly disappointed and devastated to say that the North Star necklace that I purchased only two years ago broke and in breaking I lost the attached pendant. For a piece of jewellery that is marketed as a high quality heirloom piece, not only is its breaking very disappointing but my primary reason for this review is the customer service that I am receiving regarding this broken piece. I was hoping for a repaired clasp and an offer on a discounted pendant to replace the lost pendant. What I received was a 10% discount code to purchase a completely new necklace. With inflation this 10% discount makes a new necklace €250 more expensive than the necklace that I purchased only two years ago.
Do not shop here if you actually want an heirloom piece. You can get a better quality necklace and better service at Arnotts.

Don’t buy into the hype …
My partner and I booked an engagement appointment back in Sep/oct. We traveled to Dublin specifically for the appointment as we had both been keen to view the collection together in person. I had always imagined my engagement ring would come from Chupi.
We viewed some of the rings however we left feeling a little uncertain and underwhelmed and put it down to the fact that the store / staff were preparing for the relocation. We felt perhaps we hadn’t had the best service and decided to wait until the new store had opened to revisit.
We revisited on Saturday (18th Nov) and enquired again about the rings we had previously viewed. I was disappointed one of the three styles I liked was not available in gold to try in my side and was offered silver instead (when such a special purchase I think all sizes should be available in all styles) I set three rings aside including two wedding bands rings which caught my eye. We briefly discussed details / price / style names etc with a member of staff who wrote nothing down but advised that she would email all of the details through to my partner later that day. I mentioned that we were registered for the Black Friday event and that we had specifically came on Saturday to confirm our selection to enable us to avail of the discount.
Unfortunately after waiting all afternoon my partner never received that email. He has yet to receive it. The appointment was made / confirmed with his email address so there could not have been an issue with the address. What should have been an enjoyable experience and memorable day, wasn’t, and we could easily just have browsed the website. There was nothing special or personal about the experience… There is no private room to sit down and try the rings on in an intimate / private space.. anyone can see! To be honest.. I’ll never consider shopping there again. We both left Dublin that day annoyed, disappointed and frankly appalled. To me, Chupi is a brand with fantastic marketing.. nice products (though v overpriced after shopping around) but shocking service. To further add to this, I emailed customer service on 22.11.23 with this info and again have yet to receive a response… don’t buy into the marketing hype.

All of our representatives work hard to give the best possible service but where we fall down, we do take responsibility. We are sorry that you did not receive the information requested and our sales team have implemented processes to ensure all appointments are followed up in a timely manner.
We endeavour to have every style available to try on in store for our customers, however, every Chupi engagement ring is individually handmade to order for each of our clients and as such we do not carry all sizes in all styles and all metals for trying on in store. The only silver involved in our consultation process is through the use of specially crafted sizing rings, standardised against our own studio benches to ensure perfect fit on completion of our work.
Unfortunately, your visit was just three weeks after our new store had opened and still in a bit of transition. Our entire team continues to work hard making improvements throughout the store. We have already launched several positive changes to enhance our engagement ring appointments including in store refreshments, a seated consultation area and dedicated personal consultants to guide you from start to finish of your purchasing experience.
While we are aware that you purchased your ring elsewhere, I know our store manager has contacted you directly to invite you to come into the store whenever you are next in Dublin.
While we are sorry that this cannot change your experience with us, we still thank you for sharing your experience and allowing us insight to deliver the improvements that will ensure no future visitor to our store has the same experience.

Incredibly friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful!
I recently purchased my engagement ring from their store in Dublin. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't buy on my first appointment, viewed online, booked a virtual appointment then went back in for a final follow up and made the purchase.
I don't know if I'm allowed to name people here, but the store manager was incredible from first consultation through to sale and then aftercare. I didn't get the size right but they were most helpful and resized to save my blushes!
On the product itself, my fiancee is over the moon and loves everything about it and can't stop showing it off.
Thanks again folks! We'll be back for our wedding rings.

This appears to be metallic abrasion which can commonly be triggered by certain types of soaps, skin care or cosmetics with high Ph levels.

Great experience online buying engagement ring
Such an incredible experience buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I did an online video consultation where the lady took me through all of the options on a very fancy camera, helped me choose the perfect ring for her and had it delivered to me in time for the proposal.

This is an excellent jeweler's. The attention to detail from start to finish is amazing and in my opinion unheard of. Customer service is off the charts and they 💯 stand over there products. I will happily buy from there again.

My husband bought me a chupi necklace…
My husband bought me a chupi necklace with the initials of our three children for a special birthday which I was so delighted with. Recently I lost the initial disc from my necklace...distraught over losing this cherished piece of jewellery I contacted chupi to replace it. The team at chupi were extremely pleasant to deal with, in particular Katie who was so kind and helpful. I am delighted to have my initial necklace back. Thank you all at chupi.

Customer Service like no other 10/10
Very happy with all the team at Chupi Jewellery. The customer service was the best service I have ever received from any company, 10/10. I purchased the initial disc necklace over 2 years ago and damaged my chain. Chupi replaced my chain free of charge and delivered to me. The staff especially Sarah could not have been more helpful to me from the start. I would 100% recommend Chupi and their beautiful jewelry.

Love at First Sight
I knew from when I first saw Chupi jewelry that I wanted something different from my ring. Thankfully my groom agreed as plain bands were never going to be from him 😂
The store experience was brilliant. The staff spent time with us, showing us different pieces, letting us try on and making sure our finger sizes were perfectly taken.
Once the rings were in, we went for a follow-up appointment and we're reassured if any adjustments were needed, this would be taken care of prior to our wedding.
I ended up getting the Hawthron design. Having been born and rared in an estate called after the Hawthorn, the ring had a clear meaning for me about the meeting of my past and future.
My groom fell in love with the driftwood design 😍

Customer service was excellent
Customer service was excellent.
Along with it would seem loads of people, I placed an order on Black Friday. As a result, lead times for bespoke sizing were longer than expected advertised Via email I changed my mind twice until there was a stock item that I wanted, customer service were fantastic in making whatever changes to the order I wanted with no questions asked.
Have purchased from Chupi before and will do again.

Disappointed by the lack of flexibility
I am a long time customer of Chupi as I bought a necklace with my initial disc a few years ago, I then bought my daughters initial disc to add to my own after she was born and I wear these together everyday. I recently contacted Chupi to ask if I could buy the stars in the sky disc to add to my existing chain but was told they could not sell the disc on its own. I was very disappointed by this as I do not need a second chain, I only wanted the disc to add to my existing one.

I would recommend purchasing on a longer chain than you wear your initial discs allowing you to layer them together. Our Black Friday offer is currently in place until Midday today with 20% off.
Overpriced!
Their engagement rings are extortionately overpriced- for what I was quoted in Chupi I got a far superior quality diamond elsewhere. Make sure to shop around.!!

I have never in my life had such a pleasure of corresponding with customer care team! My items were stuck at customs and the team took over the whole process of making sure that items are delivered back to the studio for the Clean up! They were responding super fast to any query I had. Wish every company had such an amazing team that is always very nice and responsive! Sure thing will be buying agin!
