NOT trustworthy at all
NOT trustworthy at all. Very mis-leading list of prohibited items provided in order email (explicitly lists fridges and freezers, does NOT mention electrical items at all). They then disposed of electrical items without checking with me that I wanted to pay additional fee to have them disposed of. They would never have been in the skip I hired if they were on the list of prohibited items from the email.
NOTE - they also operate as AMA Waste - so beware.

Very efficient ordering service but taking your money is all they do good. Skip failed to arrive as promised, customer service is very poor with promised calls back do not happen, no replies to emails. Won't confirm when skip is being collected, staff don't care.

This has been one of the worst skip-hire experiences I’ve had. I was charged a £170 “wasted journey” fee on top of the skip-hire cost. Our builders were on site and we requested collection, but the skip wasn’t picked up at that time. After the builders left and the property was unoccupied, I was told the skip was “overloaded.” When we left the site, it wasn’t overloaded, and from the photos it looks like other people may have added waste while the skip was unattended.
Despite this, the company still insisted on charging the wasted-journey fee. I’ve never encountered this with other skip-hire companies—normally, if a skip is overloaded, they simply refuse collection until it’s corrected, rather than adding extra charges.
The situation was frustrating, especially because we had no control over the skip after leaving the site, yet fees kept being added. Although their prices appear cheaper at first, in my experience the additional fees made it far more expensive than expected.
Based on this experience, I wouldn’t use this company again and would recommend choosing a reliable local skip-hire provider, even if the upfront cost is slightly higher.
Passing off as a local business and a rip off
Passed themselves off as Wrights Skips of York - they are not and this is misleading. Charged me significantly more than I could have booked direct online despite their website saying call for the best price!!
They have not had the courtesy to respond to my emails asking for an explanation.
Would not recommend or use again.
Make sure you use Wrights of Crockey Hill for your skip hire and not this sham.

I did like the notification phone call I received to let me know time of arrival . Very considerate and helpful where the driver dropped the skip
Circle Waste are Gaslighting Scammers
I am messaging as I wanted to bring to light this (in my opinion) sham company, Circle waste. My sister ordered a skip from them, which arrived on 18th October as they are renovating their first home (her and her husband). There was a 2 week clause for the hire, which we were not made fully aware of (this becomes relevant later on). Please note, this skip was hired via a middle man, Dunmow, who stated they have nothing to do with this and they just act as intermediaries for skip hire companies.
The skip was collected from our property without warning on 30th October (2 days before their 2 week hire policy).
We called them on the 3rd (my sister had her wedding over the weekend, so could not pursue this earlier). The first person we spoke to (called at ~09:40) admitted that the skip had been collected early and she would speak to her manager about a resolution. She stated we would get called back the day after about this.
We were obviously not called. We called them back the day after, by which time, they had insisted the skip was collected 1st November. I stated this was severe gaslighting on their part, especially as they had admitted the day before the skip had been collected early. The woman I spoke to (Kyra) escalated to her manager, who she said would call us back (but did not).
This was the same the day after too.
I got an email with pictures (not timestamped pictures, mind you) that the skip was collected on the 1st, but this is gaslighting as I saw myself the skip was gone on the 30th.
We finally managed to speak to the manager (Mariya) on 7th (we called them again and insisted). She basically called us liars and her drivers never lie about these things. We are trying to get footage that proves it was taken (we didn't take pictures unfortunately as we did not think a company would be so unreasonable and not admit they were wrong). She said we may be able to offer assistance partial refund if evidence is produced it was collected early (although we were offered a £40 partial refund by Kyra without evidence needing to be provided) for in the inconvenience caused. This offer was rescinded by Mariya.
I just wanted to warn people about this company as they are clearly scammers. The skip was collected before the 2 week period (which was not even highlighted to us) and I want my money back (we have now arranged for other means of our waste being collected.

Booked skip online. I recived an order confirmation stating a standard 14 day hire with no drop off or pick up dates. The skip was then delivered a day earlier then booked for and an attempt to collect the skip was made after 7 days. Having then been contacted by them and providing all evidence I have of a 14 day hire i am now being charged over £200 extra for them attempting to collect the skip. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I have hired 7 skips from Circle Waste…
I have hired 7 skips from Circle Waste since early August. Each time, I paid in full for the agreed hire period, including council permits, but the service was repeatedly mishandled.
Most recently, after paying for one month, the skip was collected after only two weeks, even though I never requested early removal. When I questioned this, they were rude and demanded I pay again for the council permit — despite my original payment covering the full period.
They also never provide receipts or invoices, making it difficult to resolve disputes. Very poor customer service, misleading practices, and an attempt to charge customers twice for the same service. I would not recommend this company.
They don't care and treat people horribly
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered the skip, it never arrived as the company has multiple outlets that do not communicate with one another e.g. online orders do not communicate with telephone orders/actual orders. Paypal canceled the transaction after I ended up just using the recycling centre, the skip then arrived and left mostly empty. The company then threatened legal action unless I paid the same day, after I had offered to pay previously and it had been refused- again due to system not joining up. Completely unprofessional with awful communication and aggressive attitude to customers, they simply don't care.
Charge for nothing.
I ordered skip to bin my house renovation wastage. Soon as confirmation email come I got to know most of the wastage I can't put on this skip. I got email around 4pm and I call them to cancel but no answer. Then I email same day 6pm for cancellation. But still they charge me £204.00 for nothing.

I booked online but was then told they didn’t have availability and couldn’t commit to the booking, despite me being fully flexible as to when this could happen. V disappointing.
Do not use this company
I ordered a skip from this company on the 22nd of July. It turned up well after midday. I kept it for around 8 weeks before phoning them to collect it. I have phoned them every week since , sometimes twice a week. I still have it today so I am contacting the local council to hopefully fine them. They keep on fobbing me off. Do not use them. I am in the Dudley area.
Booked a skip
I booked a skip with Circle Waste to help clear my late father's house. Their online system allowed me to select a Saturday delivery and confirmed the booking. But late on the Friday before, I received an email saying the skip would instead arrive Monday — leaving me no time to find an alternative provider.
Monday was my final day on site, so I bagged all the waste and left it ready for loading. What followed was a frustrating chain of delays:
- 10:30am: Promised delivery time
- 11:30am: Told it would arrive by 12:30
- 12:30pm: Called again — now “another hour”
- 1:30pm: Still no skip — told it would be another hour
- 3:30pm: Called again — “another 30 minutes”
The skip finally arrived just before 4pm. I only had time to half-fill it before leaving, effectively wasting half the cost of the hire.
The experience was chaotic, stressful, and nearly resulted in cancellation. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I ordered a skip from this company and told them at the time of booking that it was a household renovation. They said thats fine. Once my skip was ready for collection, the skip was collected and then a few days later I got a phone call to say they will be charging me an extra £90 plus VAT because I'd put carpet in the skip which is not included in a household renovation!! What a rip off ! I agreed to pay £90 inclusive just to get rid of them.

I ordered online for 24th Sept and then rang to double check I'd ordered correctly which was confirmed. Quite important as was dealing with my fathers house an hour away from me. Waited all day and skip didn't arrive. Checked email confirmation later and 25th Sept was stated. It was delivered 25th.
Mainly filled Skip with garden waste but hadn't finished job and needed to flatten down etc before ringing for collection which said I needed to do before 14 days.( Printed in large red letters on my order confirmation). This morning (3rd Oct) I received an email saying they were unable to take Skip yesterday as too overloaded and I had to now pay £130 plus vat before they would collect it. On top of this they would charge £70 plus vat for each week it was overdue. I rang to explain that I hadnt flattened garden waste yet and had read I was to ring for collection and had upto 14 days to do this but was told I'd ticked a box online to say I wanted it for 1 week.
They were very nice in customer services and did knock it down to £114 .
If I was in a better position financially I would take this further as I have proof in the email that clearly states ring for collection of Skip within 14 days.
I would never hire a Skip from this company again and wouldn't advise anybody else to either.
