I love the feeder itself! I have one very young male who lives to eat, I like that is pretty much tamper proof. What I don’t like is the numbers rub off the lid, so I had to replace two lids. I have 2 of these exact feeders. I will most likely have to buy 2 more lids soon.

Fantastic customer service from Closer Pets Ltd. Immediate responses to my emails, and clearly from a real human being not some frustrating ‘bot’. There was no quibble at all about the faulty microchip cat flap (which was just a few months short of its three year guarantee) and they sent a new one out the same day, a Friday and it was received on the Monday. Such excellent service was a very pleasant surprise and my Iife would be so much easier if only every company was like this.

The shipping was fast and the product came as described. I have yet to try this because my cat died.

We were a loyal user of the catmate fountain for years, and I mean YEARS. Unfortunately Closer Pets have decided that individual wrapping of their 'genuine' replacement filters is no longer necessary for environmental purposes.

I was confused when they started to appear recently in an unsealed box and each filter was unsealed also. I queried this with them as the new way of packaging means which ever supplier is stocking them and where they are stored means they can be tampered with, opened, or if left in unsanitary conditions the filters are not protected.

I'm sorry but my cats health is as important as mine, we use a brita water filter, if they arrived unsealed I wouldn't use them for hygiene purposes. Same goes for my cat.

Please think about reversing this decision. I will continue to spread the word about this as my cat loved the fountain, but I refuse to use the filters if they are no longer sealed.

I highly recommend this feeder to everyone. Against the company’s instruction, I use this feeder for my outside cats. They were microchipped when spayed/neutered. By using this feeder, I’ve been able to ensure only they are feeding, rather than every feral cat or wild animal in the neighborhood, and eliminating future kittens for me to socialize and find homes for. I use more C batteries than if this feeder was used inside, but it is worth it. Occasionally, the cold weather causes the feeder to “freak out” and constantly open and close. I’ve found the solution to be to bring the unit inside and let it warm up, and then return it outside.

Fantastic customer service after a couple hiccups through the warranty process! Very happy with the product and effort made by the company to make everything right.

I really like the closer pet microchip feeders, I bought 3 for my 3 cats because 1 cat has to eat special food and 1 eats slower while the other is a faster eater. I love them and the bowls that go with it.i like the shallower bowl for wet food and the more deeper ones for the dry.

Still have not received my replacement door! It was to be delivered on 11/6.

Update....replacement door arrived this afternoon 11/10. I called the company this morning, very helpful and friendly. A glitch in shipping but arrived. Will order again from them.

Excellent product, decent price, quickly shipped.

I’ve used Cat Mate products for years, so I was excited to see Closer Pets bringing everything under one name. Their customer service is excellent, and the products are reliable, durable, and thoughtfully made. Love this brand!

I have had a cat mate for a few years and my cat uses it every morn at 4am so I can sleep. Knowing that stainless is healthier for cats (and dogs) I was happy to see the stainless addition. Arrived quickly, well made.

I’ve used these food dispensers for over 20 years. It is great to still get part for those that have sun damage. The costs were very reasonable and delivery was quick and easy.

The water fountain is so easy to maintain compared to my previous fountains. When ordering replacement filters they are always in stock and arrive within 3-5 days.

My cat door works very well to keep unwanted strays out but lets my cats in. When I had to order a new collar tag I received it in less than a week, and their phone help was a live friendly person who was very helpful. Great company.
