These microchip cat doors last 6 months before they quit working. When the first one died, I had it replaced under warranty... 6 months later the replacement also died. I can't recommend this brand and wish I bought a different one.

I initially tried the SureFeed microchip-reading feeder for my cat, but he was absolutely terrified of it. The design was a bit too intimidating for him, and the motorized lid only added to his anxiety. After switching to the Closer Pets feeder, however, it was a completely different experience. The design is much more intuitive and, most importantly, quieter. The gentler mechanics made the training process so much easier, and my cat was able to adjust quickly. If you're looking for a stress-free feeding experience for both you and your cat, I highly recommend the Closer Pets feeder!

Great customer service with my warranty claim.

Replacements parts for the auto feeder arrived on time and fit perfectly.
These parts were needed as rats/squirrels chewed up the bottom of the hopper, dispensing spout and lid.
Maybe in the future can you make these parts out of something stronger that they can’t chew through?

The two-compartment feeding unit is simple and effective. The trays are removable for washing, and the freezer pack keeps wet food fresh. With a 48 hour timer (running from a single AA battery, which of course can be removed if only using the unit occasionally), we were able to have food for our cat timed to be available over our short weekend trip.

It was such a pleasant experience to be able to communicate with someone who wanted to understand the situation and help resolve it. The fact that there was a human touch was a wonderful experience in these days of automated responses.

This cat door works exactly as I expected it to since I already have one installed in a catio.

My cat door stopped working within the warranty period and they sent out a replacement right away. Someone actually answered the phone when I called, and the replacement was sent out the next day. Really appreciate the service and no hassle warranty coverage!

I have 3 girls in my room that eat 2 different foods and I need to be able to monitor how much each of them eat. I used to just feed them 4x a day, but 1 ended up with asthma and needs to eat about every 4-5hrs or she'll have an asthma attack due to reflux. I had been waking up at 12 & 4am for 4 weeks before finding this miracle machine. Easy to use. Even dopey cats like mine can figure it out.:)

They make a great product and when I did have an issue, it was resolved quickly and easily! Great company I will definitely buy again from this company

in sending out the information right away. It made it very easy to send everything that was needed. Being able to have a workable feeder again makes it less worrisome too with my cat.

We love our C500s for our two cats. They love to eat, but can't help themselves... so they each have a timed feeder that deploys wet food or kibble for their special diets on a regular schedule. We recently had an issue with the product, but we reached out to customer service and they were very responsive and helpful to get our issue resolved.

Love Closer Pet! Their products are great and customer service is above and beyond! When emailing with issues or question they respond immediately and resolve everything immediately! Great company and great products!
